Stayed 2 nights

We arrived in SSM without pre-booking a room anywhere, never again. Convenient location and quiet enough. The room layout was decent: 2 beds plus a couch and ottoman. Nice having a fridge since we had food left in our cooler from camping. Just very dirty. The beds had stained sheets, with no mattress protectors and very lumpy and flat pillows (we actually put our camping bedding overtop). The bathroom was mouldy so we ended up buying things and cleaning it ourselves. Tub also drained very slowly. Baseboards and walls and doors were filthy. It did the job for giving us somewhere to sleep, but will remember to book elsewhere in advance in the future.

Black and brown stains on towels. Entrance rug was very dirty including the room floor. There were visible blood stains on the mattress sheets. Beds were fairly comfy

I was cold one night, but I brought extra blanket from home. Didn't know how to turn the heat on. Just a suggestion not a criticism parking should be on an angle, not all vehicles are small. Larger vehicles like pick up trucks have a harder time with neater parking. Staff is friendly, rooms are reasonable and clean, and everyone here is super nice. I would stay here again. Although the hotels.com says no pets,b they do allow pets for an extra fee. Something I am most happy about as a pet owner. Everything is handy, there is even a Dq right beside the motel. I would recommend this motel.
