Very quiet And refreshing pool right along with friendly service!

From checkin to check out my stay was good. Very laid back and relaxing. Wish the front office was more inviting. And the place was more up to date. Nice staff.

It's an older property that they look to be trying to update. It's has facilities for a Continental breakfast but do not offer one. The pool needed repair. They definitely need to make sure the rooms are truly cleaned as we found trash in the bedside table and someone's underwear in the cabinet under the sink. We told the front office as we were checking out.

This stay was example of “ you get what you pay for.” Easy and friendly check in. Property looks great and well maintained from a distance. Beautiful flowers, fountain, and koi pond. Pool looked well maintained and other guests were enjoying it. Our original room smelled so strong— a mix of mold, dust, and super strong cleaning chemicals. We tried to air it out, but the windows had no screens and my attempt to open a super dirty window resulted in a pinched finger. We went to dinner and decided to ask for a room change when we came back. No problem to change, and the new room only smelled of cleaner, so we settled in. Lots of noise from other guests, but it was Saturday night, so we dealt with it. Shower was stained and broken down, so we slept and checked out as early as possible. That said, it was a third of the price of my usual Marriott brand in the same town.

The bathroom was very dirty and had pubic hair in the tub and on the floor. We had to buy cleaning supplies to clean it. The beds were hard. The room stunk. The pool was closed off. The host was not helpful. I wouldn’t stay there again and will spread the word about this place.

The cost of the motel is very reasonable, so I expect an older property and some dated decor. I was shocked at the terrible customer service, this could have been free from them and made our stay lovely, instead it was terrible and we will never go again. They have a pool onsite so we asked for extra towels as all that were in the room were 3 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth, I was met with a curt “No extra towels!” I stated we were from out of town and wanted to use the pool. I was told to use the room towels, but there are three of us in the room (they charged per person by the way) that would mean wet towels to shower and I already used the hand towel for my hair. We left for breakfast and touring the next day until lunch, but came back to the room around 11:00 to change and eat. They asked when we would leave, we sat 30 min. At exactly 30 min, two people pushed past my husband and son to change the room if we were there or not. I asked for more towels and got an even ruder No! This seems like an inexpensive resource to offer when the motel was less than 1/4 full. We left annoyed and returned to the room later, they had changed the 5 towels and made the bed, but the surfaces and room were dirty. Later, in the evening my husband asked what I had walked through as the bottom of my feet were black, so were my son’s. It was from walking on the carpet. The shower curtain was moldy and I didn’t trust the bathtub to be only stained and not dirty to wash my son. Terrible!

Reserved 2 rooms. They gave us one on second floor ans one in back of motel. Very dirty. Dead bugs on windowsill, mold in bathtub. We didn't stay because we were afraid of bed bugs. This place is a dirty dump.

Heat worked wonderfully during our chilly visit and room was spotless, will definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and as described

Shower had no water pressure. Bath tub was discussing. No soap asked manager for extra towels and he would not give us any. Been traveling for the last 3 years and this was the worst experience I have had. Only had coffee for one cup and housekeeping said they did not have any more.

Walked into room 113 only to find someone else’s clothes hanging in the room. The floor was disgusting. Toilet wouldn’t flush. Cleanliness was a 0/10.

Room smelled terrible. AC sounded like it was going to come off the wall. Checked out early because it was so bad.

It was clean, and the check in process was very seamless. Beds were a little hard, and this place could use some updating. The Fridge had rust on the exterior, and the HVAC units knobs were broken and hard to manipulate.

I liked the area but the pillows on the beds were so thin. It was really noisy also at night when it should be quiet. So for me the price was a little much considering how old it is.

It was close to downtown and had close breakfast options. Air conditioner was noisy and made the room feel very damp. old hotel needs some updating.

I just stayed here one night. It was nice and quiet. Room was clean but simple. I would stay again if in the area.

The inn is old and has very few electrical outlets. Our room was clean but everything appears to be from the original construction. Beds were comfortable. We had our dog with us on the trip and they have special rooms for travelers with pets. This isn't clear until checkin. Staff we met was pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is older. We stayed on the back side and the rooms smell a little moldy, but they were clean. There is not a lot of pressure in the shower. The bathroom is super small. The bed was comfy. Overall nice place for the money.

This is the worst dump I have ever stayed in. I was unexpectedly horrified by the check in experience and the room. Checking in there was no welcome, there was a hard plastic barrier and when the "person" came and he said all he needed was for me to sign the credit card form which he slid under a tiny slot at the bottom of the barrier, and then gave me the key. You'd think we were in a high crime area but not at all, this is a small farm and orchard town in the north Georgia Mountains! Then the room. An age of filth baked in. No drain stoppers in sink or tub. Dirt all over the light switches, no overhead lights, old tv with a remote that didnt change channels. The onside of the door was unbelievably filthy. I wouldn't put my belongings on the floor, I'm glad I brought my slippers because I'd never put my feet on the floors. The bathroom was about 4 X 5 if that, toilet and tub in there. The bed was miserable, the pillows thin flat boards. I was stuck because I was there for a 2 night wedding event. Everything else was sold out because of apple and pumpkin fall festivals. The first morning after terrible sleep I realized I'd have to leave and forfeit the 2nd night I'd already paid for. So I left in disgust. Not a chance I'd stay. GROSS EXPERIENCE I've had difficulty reaching hotels.com because they should remove this property ftim their site, it is far below their reputation. I need a direct way to contact them.

We were happy with the accommodations and the staff was very helpful.

The man at the desk was not very nice or helpful. Asked for a receipt and said could not have one as booked online. Asked about restaurants in area and said didn't know.

I liked being about to check in a little sooner due to bad weather and I needed to prop my foot due to my ankle being broken. I didn't like that I had reserved king bed room and got 2 double beds.

The exterior look of the place was so cute. Bernard was a very friendly welcoming person when I showed up. And the room was very clean and comfortable.

The floor and bathroom could be a little cleaner other than that you can't beat the stay. Staff extremely nice.

The couple that cleans and takes care of the rooms were very nice. They found my shoes I had left there from a month ago and gave them to me when I asked about them.

Quaint but close to eveything

This is a modest property. Not fancy at all. But it was clean, comfortable, and secure, which is exactly what I was looking for. Good location with several dining options within walking distance.

I thought the stratford was a great choice. It was concienient, nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a great place to stay for the prive. Cant beat it!!

We had to leave property a day early because we f shoulders,necks and backs were hurting really bad. They advertise breakfast but there’s nothing to eat. The man we talked to the morning of the second of November said he was sorry and said he would give us a refund if he could . There was no reason for him to take our money with those conditions
