Fort Pontchartrain Detroit, a Wyndham Hotel

Check in staff was the highlight - very friendly and welcoming. Location is great. Rooms are tired, bed was far too firm for our taste. Our rooms were only made up once in a 4 night stay… after I flagged down one of the staff to initiate it. Given the price point, I expect the bed to be made up and fresh towels provided daily.

The Breakfast were Super nice , Caring and hospitable. I would Definitely come back just to support them.

Staff was very friendly, we were able to do an early check-in, but the TV situation was not idea. We had to connect to wifi and then use our own streaming log-ins to watch tv. Took forever to get to any screens so we never ended up logging in.

Location is very convenient to convention center andvto Woodward Ave. Nice rooms, all with view. I wasn't impressed by the breakfast, but there are other choices in the area.

Stayed here to be close to the convention center, so I could run back to room for breaks between events. It’s super convenient for that, but there are not many food options close by which made it tricky. The hotel restaurants have limited hours and are not quite enough for group professional dinners. They only have coffee machines, no real coffee shop. Breakfast looked ok, but a bit pricey and didn’t work with schedule to attend conference stuff. Overall a nice place, but would stay closer to restaurants and other amenities in downtown next time.
