Su ubicación es excelente y el hecho del self check in es muy cómodo… solamente hay que tener en cuenta que los cuartos son muy reducidos y que tiene un “elevador” tipo de carga lo que en realidad implica subir escaleras

You are greeted by a restaurant employee where we left our bags basically next to the kitchen. There is a self check in to verify your info, in front of steps and climb up to first floor where our room was situated. The room is basic hostel minimal look but super clean and comfortable beds. It was a good value for the money as the location was perfectly situated in the old town area.

The area and rooms are great here! It is in the heart of Luzern and in a pretty square of the town. My only complaint is that the “luggage storage” option is just to leave your bags in the restaurant downstairs which we were not comfortable doing. Other than that this hotel is great!

This is in a great location. The room is very sparse with no place to set luggage or items in bathroom. Some rooms have a courtyard view but ours looked at a building and someone’s balcony. Bed is very firm but not too bad. Elevator is 1 story up so you have to lug bags up a twisting flight to get to the weird little elevator.

Overall nice and comfortable place to stay. The only thing i don’t like is there’s no elevator from ground floor, we need to bring our big luggages through the stairs going to the first floor, that’s where the elevator starts.

The self check in was a seamless process. The location is great and easy to walk to shops and restaurants. However, the shower head was awful, you can’t shower hands free, there’s nowhere to put your soap bottles and the water leaked out everywhere into the the bedroom floor so it was wet everywhere! You can also hear the ringing bell from a nearby church at night. There is a lift in the hotel but it is very slow so be aware you might need an extra few minutes to wait for it.

Property is in older building. Self checkin was ok but makes you feel like your at Mac Donald’s. lift for bags was extremely small and did not go to ground floor and stairs are narrow and tight. Room was small even for Europe, there was a fridge which was nice. Was a one night stop over and was fine for that duration.

Hotel Le Stelle is a really great budget friendly option if you don’t need the amenities of a regular hotel. Checkin was self service. I’ve never done that before, but it worked just fine!! The location is right in the middle of the old town, it’s walking distance from the train, and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Our room was immaculately clean and looked out onto a square. The room is basic, but comfortable. It had a kettle, fridge and great shower! It’s all we needed for a 2 night stay in Lucerne without breaking the bank. Highly recommend! Very happy!

Le coffre-fort ne fonctionnait pas, j’ai demandé de l’aide mais d’autres chambres avaient le même problème; on m’a dit qu’on aurait trouvé une solution mais j’ai jamais eu de retour. Le ménage est aussi fait un peu à la va vite, on trouve pas mal de cheveux longs et poussière au sol.

Room has not had a deep clean in quite some time, indicated by the layer of dust in all corners as well as behind the refrigerator (that was not functional) and inside the Nespresso machine (that was full of empty pods). Second attempt at staying here, there will not be a third. Also, the door had no functional secondary lock.

Zimmer und Bad waren sehr schön und sehr sauber. Das Hotell liegt in der Altstadt. Es ist vom Bahnhof zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Es ist nahe dem See. Hier kann man tolle Schiffsfahrten buchen.

The lobby is a restaurant with worn dirty rug. The self check-in didn’t work and I paper posted on box said to ask a restaurant employee. The room was extremely dirty. The floors were blackened and there wasn’t even handsoap. The shower had mold around the bottom and splatter is some sort on the walls. The bed was a 3” foam mattress w 2 twin blankets laid out like sleeping bags on the king bed. There was a small fan in the room but we had to close the windows due to large drunk people outside of the hotel past midnight. Dirty dirty dirty hotel.

While hotel location was good that was about the only decent thing: the wifi was completely unusable, the beds hard, and the type of elevator they had (which was more for wheelchairs and not a typical elevator) was difficult to use and was unavailable the one time we actually would have wanted to use it. The self check in was also confusing and frustrating.

Petite chambre, donnant sur un mur, du coup assez "oppressante". Bien pour une nuit de passage. Mais la salle de douche était super, moderne, et le lit très confortable, et très grand. Un petit frigo, très appréciable. L'emplacement est bien situé, proche gare et bus, en centre ville. Check in et out entièrement informatisé, nous n'avons vu personne, mais s'est bien passé.

Eine Deckenhöhe knapp unter 2m und Dachschräge auf der Hälfte des Zimmers. Nach Maßstäben deutschen Wohnraums nicht 18, sondern unter 9 qm, Jedenfalls war in meinem Zimmer kaum die Hälfte der Fläche nutzbar. In der Dusche Kopf einziehen. Für Menschen bis ca. 1,70 oder 1,75m vielleicht ok.

Personal habe ich keines angetroffen. Im Zimmer lottert so einiges und was nützt die Kaffeemaschine, wenn es für die Nutzung keine Kaffee-Pads zur Verfügung hat. War wohl günstig, doch werde ich dort nicht mehr übernachten wollen.

The hotel is in a convenient Old Town location. Self check-in was easy, but it was hard to reach the staff. I reported a clogged shower drain several times; someone eventually came, but the issue wasn’t fixed. It was frustrating trying to get help.

The rooms were quite nice, especially for the quite reasonable price. The rooms were very clean with a nice, modern bathroom. Centrally located in the old city was a big plus. Of course, like almost all hotel rooms in the old city, there is no air conditioning. Even so it wasn't uncomfortable to sleep on a hot July night The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the automated self check-in completely failed to work. The manager of the Japanese restaurant downstairs handled everything. She was very nice about it, but if we'd arrived when the restaurant was closed, i don't know what we'd have done.

Floor not clean. TV did not work. No hotel staff on site. Was given the phone number of the owner but he did not answer messages. Eventually on the last day someone from the Japanese restaurant below got the TV to work for a few minutes, after which it stopped working again.

Pretty decent place, location is great. The self check in was not great though, we luckily were able to get our key card but the machine froze on us and reset. It was past midnight when we checked in so if anyone else came after us they would be unable to get their card because the machine was not working. Room was clean.

Nice place. I little hard to find and we had some trouble getting inside (we didn't understand how to get in before the self check-in). Overall it was nice, clean and affordable.

It was a nice room but very small but it was sufficient. Very hard to find and hard to get to. Parking nearby was 36 CHF for tje night!

Nice place. I little hard to find and we had some trouble getting inside (we didn't understand how to get in before the self check-in). Overall it was nice, clean and affordable.

Having tea and coffee available 24/7 was fantastic and the breakfast very good too!! Share bathroom facilities were also very good. Unfortunately the people in the room above us disturbed our sleep as we could hear them walking around on the wooden floors and banging about quite loudly.

First of all, if you need a concierge and room service, this isn’t the place for you. Self check in and rather spartan. One must hump their baggage up one flight to reach the elevator. That being said, the location is to die for. On Hirschenplatz Place, one square opens up to another and shopping corridors radiate in practicallly every direction. A bakery and coffee shop is steps away, and a number of dining options emerge as you explore. One of the old town’s covered bridges is just three (I’ll call them blocks) away. Everything is close by in the old town. There was some trouble for us and other guests checking in, but the gentlemen who runs the oriental restaurant lent his assistance. You can also check your bags at the restaurant if you arrive early. Room service freshens your accommodations daily.

I liked the self check-in, was quick and easy to use and I received a door key in no time. Room was compact, but had a great view of a beautiful Lucerne square. It was a double room, but would have been crowded with two people. I was on my own and only stayed one night, so it was just what I was looking for. No reception so no way to leave your luggage upon checkout. Luckily you can leave luggage at the train station, which is a short walk away. Can't beat the location, right in the middle of everything and only one block from the lake!

I guess the self checkin is a new concept for us. There was no one to talk to! But once you checkin then the rooms are well equipped with stuff, they are clean. Only annoying thing was the floors were very squeaky. The restaurant at the hotel entrance serves good Asian food. Location of the hotel was fantastic. Overall happy with the stay at Le Stelle

The lobby is a restaurant with worn dirty rug. The self check-in didn’t work and I paper posted on box said to ask a restaurant employee. The room was extremely dirty. The floors were blackened and there wasn’t even handsoap. The shower had mold around the bottom and splatter is some sort on the walls. The bed was a 3” foam mattress w 2 twin blankets laid out like sleeping bags on the king bed. There was a small fan in the room but we had to close the windows due to large drunk people outside of the hotel past midnight. Dirty dirty dirty hotel.

Good hotel right in the heart of the old town of Lucerne. It is self-service, so no reception, but the machine there works just fine. The room is simple, but it has anything one might need. Also, we appreciate the little fan, it helped during the summer nights.

The hotel is self check in so I had no interaction with the staff during my stay, but this was fine with me. My room was on the top floor and while there was a lift, it was unusual and very slow, so used the stairs mostly. My room was in the roof, which I knew before hand, but I did not appreciate how low the ceiling was and I kept banging my head! The room was also very warm and there was no air con. Overall the room was adequate for 2 nights. I liked the hotel, but my particular room could have been better. If going to Luzern again I would maybe stay here again as its very central and good value for Switzerland.
