Samantha was such a joy. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable. The room was clean. We enjoyed the hot tub on the roof and the balcony off of our room. The location is central to the best attractions and food, highly recommend Trastevere for the food as it’s only a short walk. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family,

Perfect location, great rooms (separate twins beds for kids) and the rooftop hot tub was a brilliant way to end the day. Would 100% recommend.

Guest rooms were clean and tidy- with Josua and Stefanie extremely accommodating. We had 2 rooms and both had air conditioning. Josua and Stefanie helped with tips for sight seeing to luggage storage. The terrace is a nice perk too, everything is in walking distance. There is also a lift available to take luggage and yourself if you wish to the 5th floor.

The hotel's location was really good and the staff really friendly. The rooms are located in the 5th floor, they have an elevator but it broke during our stay so we have to use the stairs. The view from the shared terrace was stunning specially at sunset.

On arrival we were a little concerned with the 5th floor location but were happy to see a lift (very small) but very reliable to take us to the hotel reception on level 5 where we were greeted by Josiah and Patricia who made our stay amazing. The continental breakfast was more than sufficient and very tasty! We had breakfast every morning on the terrace where the view was outstanding and breakfast arrived on time everyday of our stay. Room was small but adequate for a short stay (3 nights) and very clean.

When you first enter the building for this hotel, it feels odd, the building is old and the elevator is questionable but safe. Honestly that’s all that I can say was bad about this property, everything else was great although the property is old the rooms are very modern and nice ( I will add they are a bit small). We got lucky and got room 2 that had a corner balcony so we were able to enjoy views from both sides of the property. The staff, particularly Joy, were extremely accommodating and friendly. They also were able to help me with a self check in with very clear instructions. As far as location the hotel is located directly next to some old Roman ruins that also acts as a little plaza were trams and buses arrive. All popular attractions are a 10-20 min walk and there is plenty of good food options around.

This property is not a hotel, it is the fifth floor of an old building. Trash bags are piled in the entryway. The elevator is so small and outdated it is almost impossible to use. There is no breakfast buffet as advertised. There is no spa. It is in a high traffic retail location. When we complained we were told to "take it up with Expedia." Highly recommend against this property.

Personalet var meget imødekommende og gjorde alt de kunne for at rette op. Vi havde booket netop dette hotel pga. spa muligheden, som først virkede på 5. dagen. Der var en renovering af hotellets tagterrasse igang, og arbejderne stoppede først kl. 23.00 den første nat. De følgende dage stoppede de i ok tid, men der var byggestøv alle vegne. Rengøringsdamen gjorde alt hun kunne, men støvet kom hurtigt igen.

Great staff, clean well presented rooms, great location. Showers were amazing and beds comfortable. The Philippino gentleman was a real worker and the lady very helpful. The Italian cleaner was always well presented, friendly and acknowledged me every morning, which was unexpected….great place. I must say the room keys were unnecessary, bulky and I questioned how well they locked the rooms.

The room was clean and had everything we needed (though 2 coat hooks sonewhere would be great for our coats.) The bathroom had everything we needed including toothbrushes. The balcony was small but perfect to have a coffee or a wine. The view was beautidul. Stephanie was ao helpful.

Location is top notch! View is fantastic, great views from balcony and rooftop terrace. Room was not the biggest, but the balcony felt like an extension of the room, so it felt much larger when you have the balcony door open. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only small issue was the room smelled a bit damp when you first enter, but it did not bother us since we always have the balcony door open for the view.

We arrived ~9.30pm and were unable to access the property. We had let them know of our late arrival and were sent access instructions which we followed. The remote opening of the internal gate was broken so we were stuck in the porch. Despite our attempts no assistance was available. We had to find alternative accommodation at our own expense. We gained access the following day but found the apartment suboptimal: The steps to access the front door are extremely steep. There are more steps inside the apartment from the main bedroom to the bathroom at night. It is on the 4th floor of the building with a single small lift. The hot tubs were dirty and switched off (cold) during our stay so we were unable to use them. Excuses were made when we asked for them to be made functional. The air conditioning had water dripping out of it. The sink was blocked. It took >24 hours for this to be rectified. There are a lot of renovations going on in the building and many of the other floors are unoccupied, during our stay there was noise from builders during the daytime. We would not recommend Relais Badoer, our family were put in a potentially dangerous situation without accommodation late at night in a city we did not know. We were lucky to find alternative accommodation as it was not peak time but have been left out of pocket. The customer service response was amateur and unprofessional, with no apology or refund from management, subsequent emails have been ignored.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the guest house. It was a little hard to find as the sign on the door is tiny but Joshua was in touch before we arrived to give is instructions of how to get into the property. Once we were inside it was easy and info and our keys were waiting for us. We were allocated room 2 and although its a small room it was perfectly adequate amd the shower room was a good size and modern. The benefit to room 2 is that you get two doors out to the terrace and as its on the corner you get two diferent views. Having an outside area to sit was fab. Even better was having access to the rooftop terrace where there are loungers, two hot tubs (only one was on and in use but wasnt busy) and tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the fantastic views and this is available to all of the guests (only 7 rooms). The staff were friendly and attentive. Only issue was we had booked a private transfer through the guest house and it never arrived. Wasnt the accommodations fault it was the company they used. They offered us a free transfer back after our holiday and it worked out perfectly. We would recommend to anyone as its a great location with an open outlook.

Josh was an excellent host, as advised, he contacted us 24 hrs prior to arrival, I asked if we could leave our luggage as we were arriving about 3 hrs before our room would be ready, we were told that would be fine. When we arrived we received a very warm welcome from Josh and he had even made sure our room was ready for us. We had a room with a little balcony, overlooking the square, which I loved. The room was clean (newly refurbished) and functional. The only downside we found was the lack of a shelf to put your toiletries in the bathroom, even when you used the soap provided, there is nowhere around the sink to leave it, due to the design of the sink. As this was our first visit to Rome, Josh provided us with a tourist map and advised where to find the cheaper restaurant's etc. Overall we had a great stay, the location is great for walking to most of the sites of interest and the hopper bus is only about a 5 min walk away.

The room itself, though a bit snug, was very clean and updated and the balcony off of the rooms was a lovely addition! The location was very centrally located and we were able to walk to all of the sites. The entryway and lobby were very run down to the point where I was a bit worried we might need to switch hotels before I saw the room, so just keep this in mind. The staff is very friendly but only there from about 8-4PM and other than that you need a code to get in the main door so it didn’t necessarily feel the safest, but it was good enough for a 2 night stay.

Samantha was such a joy. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable. The room was clean. We enjoyed the hot tub on the roof and the balcony off of our room. We booked a room that specifically included a terrace with a city view, but the room we received had neither. When we raised the issue with Stephanie at the front desk, we were told that we had been given a “nice room” and should essentially be satisfied with it. The main reason we chose this hotel was for the terrace and view, so we were disappointed both by not receiving what we paid for and by the dismissive service. The room itself, though a bit snug, was very clean and updated and the balcony off of the rooms was a lovely addition! The location was very centrally located and we were able to walk to all of the sites. The entryway and lobby were very run down to the point where I was a bit worried we might need to switch hotels before I saw the room, so just keep this in mind. The staff is very friendly but only there from about 8-4PM and other than that you need a code to get in the main door so it didn’t necessarily feel the safest, but it was good enough for a 2 night stay.

On arrival we were a little concerned with the 5th floor location but were happy to see a lift (very small) but very reliable to take us to the hotel reception on level 5 where we were greeted by Josiah and Patricia who made our stay amazing. The continental breakfast was more than sufficient and very tasty! We had breakfast every morning on the terrace where the view was outstanding and breakfast arrived on time everyday of our stay. Room was small but adequate for a short stay (3 nights) and very clean.

We arrived ~9.30pm and were unable to access the property. We had let them know of our late arrival and were sent access instructions which we followed. The remote opening of the internal gate was broken so we were stuck in the porch. Despite our attempts no assistance was available. We had to find alternative accommodation at our own expense. We gained access the following day but found the apartment suboptimal: The steps to access the front door are extremely steep. There are more steps inside the apartment from the main bedroom to the bathroom at night. It is on the 4th floor of the building with a single small lift. The hot tubs were dirty and switched off (cold) during our stay so we were unable to use them. Excuses were made when we asked for them to be made functional. The air conditioning had water dripping out of it. The sink was blocked. It took >24 hours for this to be rectified. There are a lot of renovations going on in the building and many of the other floors are unoccupied, during our stay there was noise from builders during the daytime. We would not recommend Relais Badoer, our family were put in a potentially dangerous situation without accommodation late at night in a city we did not know. We were lucky to find alternative accommodation as it was not peak time but have been left out of pocket. The customer service response was amateur and unprofessional, with no apology or refund from management, subsequent emails have been ignored.

We had breakfast included, the breakfast is simple but good, very typical southern european breakfast. The room was clean upon arrival, and got cleaned everyday. The place is super central so most of the monuments are within a walking distance. Will definitely go back if we ever visit Rome again.

I would absolutely stay at this property again while in Rome. It was small and charming and perfectly located for easy walking to all the major sites. It also had a bus and taxi pick up within a block. It was a quiet area at night so it wasn’t loud or disturbing ever. Highly recommended the balcony suite! My only feedback was that I had requested a shuttle for airport pickup and drop-off and they didn’t follow up on the drop off so we had to order our own taxi the night before for a 7am flight out. They did give a prompt response and apology when I did make them aware of this oversight, so I would just recommend triple confirming with them if you need an airport shuttle.

Great property and very well appointed. Nice surprise to have one of the only rooftop hot tubs in Rome over looking where Julius Caesar was killed. The hotel is surrounded by great food and pastry shops for the morning. Awesome location and we’ll be back.

When you first enter the building for this hotel, it feels odd, the building is old and the elevator is questionable but safe. Honestly that’s all that I can say was bad about this property, everything else was great although the property is old the rooms are very modern and nice ( I will add they are a bit small). We got lucky and got room 2 that had a corner balcony so we were able to enjoy views from both sides of the property. The staff, particularly Joy, were extremely accommodating and friendly. They also were able to help me with a self check in with very clear instructions. As far as location the hotel is located directly next to some old Roman ruins that also acts as a little plaza were trams and buses arrive. All popular attractions are a 10-20 min walk and there is plenty of good food options around.

Josua and Patrizia were incredible! We stayed on the top floor and felt like we had a whole area to ourselves. Breakfast (typical Italian breakfast) was delivered to our door daily and it was always fresh. It was a great location and walking distance to most things. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and quaint place, with a good location and service!

It was not very well signed posted from the street and even on the door or location it’s not clear which floor you need to go to (5 if anyone is booking!) and it was confusing for myself and for other visitors we encountered. We had to ring the number via the Expedia app to find out. My package included breakfast, but they insisted it didn’t, but the selection was pretty limited anyway. This property is not a hotel, it is the fifth floor of an old building. Trash bags are piled in the entryway. The elevator is so small and outdated it is almost impossible to use. There is no breakfast buffet as advertised. There is no spa. It is in a high traffic retail location. When we complained we were told to "take it up with Expedia." Highly recommend against this property.
