Elevator out due to tiling floor. Had to carry bags upstairs. Ended up routed outside in rain all around hotel to get anywhere. Tub stopper didnt work. Hair dryers are 30 years old. Hot tub and pool closed.

Very nicely proportioned bedrooms, dog friendly. Check in with evening receptionist left a lot to be desired had to ask about check out, breakfast, and pool times, only to find out pool is closed. He swiped for extras but no extras available, no bar, no food as the whole hotel is a building site and being renovated. Worse aspect was the electric charging points were blocked by non electric cars. Should be lovely after renovations.

The elevators were being remodeled (I guess) so there was white boards and blue tape on them, and the pool apparently wasn’t available- which I didn’t know until I looked it up and it said under construction until October 2025. (Maybe it was available but I didn’t even ask after I read that on the website, but didn’t see it before I booked the room)

I use a walker and the tiles were torn up and loose and no other way around to the elevator. Also the the pool and hot tub were closed . We paid for them and no discount offered or upgrade offered when asked for. Not pleased .

Service is always pleasant and love the breakfast. We come over from the coast every December to partake in an annual rabbit show. Last year the hot tub was broken, apparently it’s been hard to fix it in a years time? Disappointing because was looking forward to relax in a warm hot tub after a cold day.

Staff was great! But when we walked into our room the smell of mold and mildew filled the air. So bad that our hair and clothes smelled like it after leaving and driving 5 hours in the car. Definitely not healthy! Room 335.

We were traveling from Oregon to Arizona and stopped at this hotel to take a break. While the staff was friendly, the room was in poor condition. The carpet was dirty, the curtains were torn, and there were cobwebs on the walls. The hotel's website features misleading photos that don't reflect the actual state of the room. Unfortunately, due to spring break and limited availability at other nearby hotels, we had no choice but to stay. Breakfast was horrible. The first day most of the breakfast items were out of service (pancake machine, juice machine) found mold on one of the bagels. Found black hair on bathroom towels. Bathroom door lock was broken so it locked us out of the bathroom twice. Notified management through hotels.com and survey requesting call back and got no return call. This establishment clearly does not care about their clientele.

The room was clean and cool temperature wise. The wall paper was falling off a corner but, that's fine. The bathroom was roomie but it was oddly warm. We ended up leaving the bathroom door open with the AC on so it was more comfortable. And breakfast was good and changed each day.

Nice property but AC wasn't good and room was still 80+ degrees after 3 hours. Desk clerk said no other rooms were available so we changed hotels since the room was uninhabitable. Expedia was incredibly helpful with a refund.

Property is a bit tired. When we arrived in our room I noticed the toilet was running which usually means the flapper is stuck so I lifted the tank lid to find the float set too high. When I tried to adjust - the top came off and water sprayed all over. We tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room didn’t work so we went down to the front desk. They were very VERY nice and quickly gave us a different room

Elevator was broke down, the guy at the front desk checked me out the day I checked in so housekeeping came in my room at 6am the next day thinking the room was empty. I was also told not to drink the water but there was no vending machine or complimentary water bottles.

The check-in was horrible. The front desk girl was rude, she wouldn't let me pay half cash and half with a card. She told me they don't accept cash. Our room had cobwebs, dry blood stains on the curtains and blood on one of the pillows. We were supposed tonstay for 3 days but checked out after the first night. Michael helped me check out the next day and was pleasant. He helped me with getting a refund of the next 2 nights put back on my card, even though it did take 3 business days to see the refund.

So the only real problem was two fold. Our room door was malfunctioning and the key card wouldn't work (the only reason we got in was the door was propped open) When we went downstairs to try to get another room the lobby was swamped with check-ins and booking problems. The clerk was by herself which seemed odd given that it was early evening. Subsequently we gave up and went back to the room and deadbolted ourselves in and one of stayed in the room at all times. Not really up to your usual standard.

Last week when staying gat this location, I gave the highest marks. This week was terrible. The front office staff was lazy and inattentive, lacked communication and ended up making key cards that didn't work. We have been experiencing record breaking heat and when I did finally get into my room, the staff had the air conditioning off. My room was over 95 degrees (I have a thermometer in my tool bag) and it took over 5 hours to get the temperature down. The whole top floor on my side of the building was the same so guests all had their doors open trying to cool down their rooms. It was uncomfortably hot the rest of the night, only able to get my room to about 88 degrees and I slept terrible. I hope that this is an isolated event, and I will be staying here again. I hope the next experience is more like my first. Thank you.

Booked here for our trip back home and the hotel itself is nice enough. Room was spacious and clean. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but it was one night so not a super big deal. The AC worked, which we were thankful for. When my husband checked in he let them know we have our service dog. He said the lady at the desk was really rude and asked for registration paperwork for my service dog, I was still outside getting my things, or I would have educated her that 1) It’s against the law to ask me for that and 2) there is no registry. Which my husband informed her of. He said she continued to be rude and insinuate that he was just trying to get out of the pet fee. Then my son went to the front desk to ask for 2 extra towels, a blanket for the sleeper couch and a pillow and he said that she was extremely rude to him as well and complained that we were asking for what we needed. There was no pillow in the room for the sleeper, and no extra blanket, and there were only 3 towels in the bathroom. We were very disappointed with the service and the way the front desk treated us. We would not be able to recommend this hotel to anyone and won’t be staying again.

After a long 8-hour drive, we were thrilled to find the hotel easily right off the I5! There's a gas station right next door, which made fueling up super convenient. The staff at check-in were so welcoming and helpful, which really set a positive tone for our stay. Our room was clean, the air conditioner worked like a champ, and while the bed was just okay, the bathroom was fresh and tidy. My son absolutely loved the indoor pool and spa—such a great way to unwind after that long drive! They do offer breakfast in the morning, but we decided to hit the road early instead. Overall, it was a fantastic stop that I’d recommend for any road trip or visit!

First off, you mush understand that this great Holiday Inn Express is very hard to find from the street, it's tucked away behind a gas station and the sign on the street is about the size of an LP album cover. We zipped past it five times trying to find it and it caused a big commotion in the car and we arrived in a major fowl mood because of the fight that ensued just trying to find the damn place. So just know, IT'S BEHIND THE ARCO STATION.

Ive stayed here about 4x. I use this hotel as a stopping place before going over the Shasta pass (im not keen to drive the pass at night in winter). The area is a bit remote. It’s about a 10min drive to any restaurants. There is an AMPM quickie mart + gas station a 2min walk. Parking is good. Water is hot. The dog area is decent. I also feel okay being out at 3a if my dog needs to go out. I prefer this location instead of going up to Redding, which is a bit congested.

this IHG hotel in Red Bluff was amazing. It was easy location to freeway, to restaurants and for parking lot. The front staff were great. The breakfast was very good. The rooms, beds and shower / bathroom amenities were SO great! Comfy bed and great pillows. Dove brand shower and bath products - so nice! Thanks for a great stay!
