Great hotel on a cute little street in Paris. Very clean, friendly staff. The neighbourhood felt safe and there were tons of restaurants to pick from nearby. Only downside was the elevator stopped working on my last day so I had to lug my suitcase down 4 flights of stairs. I would definitely return for at stay at Le Mareuil.

We had two connecting rooms for our family. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a great breakfast and several small extras that made a huge difference for a great vacation: Free coffee and hot chocolate machine and a free cool and soarkling water cooler. The hotelmisnclose to Republique metro and to several dining options. We had great 6 nights at paris.

Beautiful hotel , interconnecting rooms much larger than expected . Staff so incredible friendly and helpful . Only downside was renovations happening so gym was out of order which I had been looking forward to using and only told one week before but apart from that , hotel was perfect in a great area for metro / restaurants etc . Lovely area will definitely be back

This was a very nice, quiet hotel in a very convenient area. The staff was always helpful. My only complaint is that the gym is tiny and the half glass shower door doesn’t keep the water in the shower, so the bathroom floor was always getting wet. I didn’t have the breakfast but it looked great and the breakfast room is very charming.

Property is fully remodeled, rooms are very comfortable, spacious and extremly clean. 1st floor ammenities include unlimited water (carbonated or still) and coffee. Only complaint, guy at front desk refused to speak english at check in. French being french, I guess he believes his language is in some form superior eventhough english or spanish have way more speakers. Rest of staff was very pleasant.

This hotel is located in a prime neighborhood, which was the primary reason we chose it. That aside, the rooms are nice and actually more spacious than most hotels at this price point. The AC worked very well, and the staff was great and spoke good english. There is even a gym as well, and a grocery store super close by (as well as countless amazing bakeries and restaurants). Truly a great hotel for a good price point.

Chambre très confortable bien que pas très grande. La chambre était merveilleusement CALME, très appréciable et reposant. Jolie vue sur les toits de Paris. Petit déjeuner correct mais plus d'options végétariennes ou végétaliennes seraient la bienvenue. Pas de chance lors de notre séjour puisque l'ascenseur était en panne (6eme étage 😝) mais le personnel a compensé cette inconvenience autant que possible et nous les en remercions. Emplacement agréable dans un quartier pas trop touristique mais à proximité de pas mal de lieux sympas 👍

Nous avons passé un mini séjour fantastique, le personnel est très agréable et nous a accueilli comme il se doit. Ils sont également toujours disponibles à notre écoute. Nous avons particulièrement aimé le hammam compris dedans et le service de boissons chaudes 24h/24h. Concernant notre chambre, elle était très jolie et moderne, très propre et nous avons eu un grand lit double et une grande douche comme nous avions demandé. Bien que nous soyons en pleine ville, nous n’entendons rien de l’extérieur. Je recommande cet hôtel à 100% et j’y retournerais avec grand plaisir. Merci encore pour votre accueil!

LUXURIOUS ROOM! Very comfortable bed, good working AC! We stayed for 4 nights and they cleaned our room so nicely everyday, they even freshly vacuumed everyday. It was perfect for our honeymoon. :) No complaints!

Dejligt hotel med venligt personale, god størrelse på værelset og badeværelset. God seng. Rengøringen manglede lige det sidste denne gang. Der blev fundet vådservietter under sengen og ved kaffemaskinen var der løbet kaffe ned ad væggen,der ikke var tørret af.

Das Personal ist freundlich, die Zimmer sehr klein und nicht sehr sauber (Tagesdecke am Bett verschmutzt und Blutflecken darauf) Wände verdreckt im Zimmer. The hotel is in a quiet street but only a few minutes walk from the Place de la Republique and with easy access to the Metro. It's absolutely immaculate and the staff were very helpful. All of the staff, especially Harold at check-in, were lovely. I was upgraded to a room on the 6th floor, which was quiet (except for other guests who don’t seem to know how to close a door without letting it slam shut) and had everything I needed, including a soaking bathtub - perfect after long flights and days full of walking. Are room sizes grand? No. That is how things are, but what is important is that it is super clean and comfortable. There is also a sauna available for guests. You’ll find robes provided in your room. The 24-hour espresso machine is a plus. In the past, I chose hotels as close to Gare du Nord as possible for convenience to CDG airport and the trains going everywhere. However, this location is ++!! I used to live in the 5th & 20th, so it was nice to learn the area around République better. It’s super walkable and much less busy. I did not opt for the breakfast, as I wanted to get out and try as many bakeries and restaurants as possible, but the dining room looked nice. To my fellow vegans: Go to Land & Monkeys (see photo with espresso at the hotel), Cloud Cakes bakeries - grab some meals to go at either for your flight home; dinners at Aujourd’hui Demain & Soya Canteen… all within 10-25 mins walking distance. I have already recommended this hotel to friends who plan to visit Paris soon, and when I return, Hotel Le Mareuil will be my first choice!

Fantastic set up for a family of four as we had interconnecting rooms almost like a mini apartment. Lovely location with nice restaurants in the area and easy access to Metro. Nice decor with little touches. Service lovely. We did have a problem with one of the bathrooms but the reception said they would fix immediately.

Perfect hotel for us. After our booking we got inquiries about our wishes, directions how to get there, personated tips. Hospitality is great at this hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable. Great shower! Metro almost around the corner so all of Paris is yours.

Staff were excellent and hotel is in a good area however as larger North Americans we found the rooms a bit too small for to manoeuvre around in with all our luggage, that’s the only real drawback though. Otherwise great.

Hotel Le Mareuil was a nice stay overall. The building is very small and the rooms are smaller - the status quo in paris. Is you have large luggage, you will have to do some juggling to fit in the room. The staff was very kind and welcoming and the area was safe and near multiple metro stops. The elevator did go out on our stay which was inconvenient - especially when we had to bring out luggage back down. Overall a positive experience.

Our family of 4 had the interconnecting rooms at the hotel. Perfect for our family. The rooms are small, but very clean and beds are comfortable. The TV's had no english channels to keep kids occupied whilst we chilled in the rooms. The area felt safe and only a few minutes walk to Oberkampf Metro Station. The staff are great and booked taxis when asked. I would definitely stay again if in Paris.

Ruhig in einer Nebenstraße gelegen und trotzdem gut an die Metro angebunden, der Place de la Republique ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. The hotel was clean, nice with medium sized rooms. I appreciated that the hotel was very close to a main station that had access to 4 subway lines. The hotel did offer breakfast. The breakfast choice was okay not the best but it was suitable for a 5 day in Paris
