This is one of the best motels we have stayed at! Room was very clean and comfortable. In a great location on the lake. A short walk to the shore. Within walking distance to food and shops and about 15-20 minutes walking to the main strip. Property is safe and quiet and ample parking. We will gladly stay again

The Riviera Motel is one of the better bets in Mackinaw City if the Mackinac Bridge view matters more to you than a modern hotel. You are steps from Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse and a short walk from Colonial Michilimackinac. Downtown shops and restaurants are about a 10-minute walk. A free shuttle runs to the Mackinac Island ferry docks. I-75 is close, so it works as a one-night bridge stop or a base for the island. Many rooms look straight at the bridge, the straits, and the island in the distance. It is a family-run, older motel, not a resort. It has clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a small northern-Michigan theme. You get air conditioning, a flat-screen with cable, free Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, and a mini-fridge. There is no microwave in the room; a shared one sits near the office, along with an ice machine. Complimentary coffee, tea, or hot chocolate is available in the morning. I will be back next year

Great place to stay! The staff that was working were wonderful! Rooms were clean and the beds are super comfortable! Our view was fantastic especially at night of the lighted bridge. There are no elevators so if you are not traveling light and are not wanting to haul your suitcase up the steps request a first floor room. The top and bottom end rooms have a patio and looks directly at the lake and bridge❤️ The weather was a little cooler since it was the middle of September and they still had the pool open when we stayed so we did not use it but it was clean and very nice. We will definitely book here again on our next trip out to Michigan!

Our choice for when we stay in Mackinaw City. Staff is cordial and check-in was quick. The rooms are comfortable, clean and cozy. The location is ideal if you want views of the Mackinac Bridge literally right outside your door. There are walking paths along the lake for a stroll after a long day of driving or before you take off for your next stop. It's also a quick walk to get the shops downtown.

Location was good, on the shore by Lake Huron and the Mackinac bridge. 10 min walk to the ferry, restaurants, shops. Good restaurant recommendations for dinner at check in. Didn't use the pool, but it looked inviting and was in a nice setting overlooking the lake. Disappointed in our "lake view" room that we paid a little more for. It was a sideways view through the tree tops. Room could be improved, needs attentionto detail. Only microwave was outside the office in a wooden cabinet that we didn't even know of until check out. Our coffee maker had chunks of coffee and lime scale floating in the water reservoir so didn't use it. Office did have coffee at 7:30-7:45 each morning. Not sure we'd stay again.
