We stayed for 3 nights. It was an enjoyable trip. The room was overall good, the bed is on the softer side and isn’t conducive to all bodies. The rooms are also a little small which isn’t a draw back per se but it does feel crowded and cramped by day two. The pool was wonderful. The pool deck, patio and dock areas over the water were the highlights of the hotel. Fire pits at night were a good touch and the staff was super friendly and made sure to light them nightly. The parking situation for this trip in early September, was okay. The spots are small and along the fence so a passenger has to get out before you park, or you just hangout of the space a bit. When there are other larger vehicles there it’s even more difficult park. We were lucky this time of year was less busy, so we always got parking near the room, but i could see how this would be a huge issue in the summer. Be warned the slop from the pool up the hotel is steep so be prepared if your room is not near the pool area. In a great area near all the things and restaurants you’d want to be near. Staff was excellent in all encounters with them and overall i had a lovely time and really enjoyed my days out by the pool and on the lake.

Beautiful views at The Lake Hotel. The pool was beautiful with a view of the lake as you swim. Plenty of seating in the pool area. The many fire pits at night was an amazing way to unwind after a busy day. Easily walkable to town. Staff at the hotel were all very nice and helpful.

We had a Wonderful Stay at The Lake Motel. The owner, Steve and the entire Staff are extremely accommodating and friendly making for a very pleasant experience. The service is outstanding as they go above and beyond offering magnificent views of Lake George, lovely well appointed rooms, free kayaks & a heated pool with the property located right in town. We have stayed there multiple times. The staff is always very friendly. The pool is heated and very clean. There's a two tier deck on the water with beautiful views. The cost is very reasonable compared to some of the other surrounding places.

Beautiful grounds, the pool area is gorgeous. Friendly and courteous staff. Convenient to the Village. Room was musty and carpet damp. Parking is an absolute nightmare unless you plan on not using your vehicle the entire time you’re there.

We were looking to just get away for the day and decided to come up to Lake George. Unfortunately, most of the stores along the strip don't stay open very long midweek. The room here was spacious and quite comfortable. The folks at the front desk where quite welcoming. I would certainly come back again.

Great location, very walkable to stores, restaurants and sites of interest. Best part is the Lake Motel is right on the lake. Loved the patio with the firepits, that really enhanced our stay. Rooms are a little narrow but was fine for overnight stay.

We planned a last minute get away to Lake George for the night and decided to stay on the water in the village so we'd have an easy walk to the upper part of the strip. Check in was freindly and straight forward. Lobby had coffee/tea and lots of info on local attractions and places to eat. Rooms must have been recently renovated. They were lovely, neat and pretty comfortable. Though it was a rainy weekend, there were plently of fun spots to visit with views of the lake. From the walk we took out onto the uncovered patios and the dock area, it looks like a great place to enjoy the lake on warmer days and very suitable for all ages. It was a very easy walk to many of the traditional Lake George attractions. Can't wait to go back for a longer stay.

Paper thin walls, you could hear everyone and everything in other rooms and outside. The room was also very loud, the dated AC unit in the room prevented us from sleeping all night. Also, the whole room was shaking when someone was walking on the same floor - literally. Overall a very unpleasant stay although the motel is nicely located and offers a fun pool and patio. I would never return.

We loved the lake hotel it was walking distance to all shops and restaurants.The hotel workers and the front desk were very helpful.The only bad thing was room 15 the generator from the other hotel is right in back of bathroom window so it was very loud and the fumes came in through the bathroom cause the power went out which was not the hotels fault. We will be back again great hotel and location .

Beautiful views at The Lake Hotel. The pool was beautiful with a view of the lake as you swim. Plenty of seating in the pool area. The many fire pits at night was an amazing way to unwind after a busy day. Easily walkable to town. Staff at the hotel were all very nice and helpful.

We planned a last minute get away to Lake George for the night and decided to stay on the water in the village so we'd have an easy walk to the upper part of the strip. Check in was freindly and straight forward. Lobby had coffee/tea and lots of info on local attractions and places to eat. Rooms must have been recently renovated. They were lovely, neat and pretty comfortable. Though it was a rainy weekend, there were plently of fun spots to visit with views of the lake. From the walk we took out onto the uncovered patios and the dock area, it looks like a great place to enjoy the lake on warmer days and very suitable for all ages. It was a very easy walk to many of the traditional Lake George attractions. Can't wait to go back for a longer stay.

We had a Wonderful Stay at The Lake Motel. The owner, Steve and the entire Staff are extremely accommodating and friendly making for a very pleasant experience. The service is outstanding as they go above and beyond offering magnificent views of Lake George, lovely well appointed rooms, free kayaks & a heated pool with the property located right in town. We were very happy with our choice. Beautiful flowers, great decks right on the water, fire tables, pool, kayaks plus a nightly treat (s’mores and ice cream sundaes when we were there).Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and bathroom. Great location at the edge of the main strip!

We stayed for 3 nights. It was an enjoyable trip. The room was overall good, the bed is on the softer side and isn’t conducive to all bodies. The rooms are also a little small which isn’t a draw back per se but it does feel crowded and cramped by day two. The pool was wonderful. The pool deck, patio and dock areas over the water were the highlights of the hotel. Fire pits at night were a good touch and the staff was super friendly and made sure to light them nightly. The parking situation for this trip in early September, was okay. The spots are small and along the fence so a passenger has to get out before you park, or you just hangout of the space a bit. When there are other larger vehicles there it’s even more difficult park. We were lucky this time of year was less busy, so we always got parking near the room, but i could see how this would be a huge issue in the summer. Be warned the slop from the pool up the hotel is steep so be prepared if your room is not near the pool area. In a great area near all the things and restaurants you’d want to be near. Staff was excellent in all encounters with them and overall i had a lovely time and really enjoyed my days out by the pool and on the lake.

Great location, very walkable to stores, restaurants and sites of interest. Best part is the Lake Motel is right on the lake. Loved the patio with the firepits, that really enhanced our stay. Rooms are a little narrow but was fine for overnight stay.

We loved the lake hotel it was walking distance to all shops and restaurants.The hotel workers and the front desk were very helpful.The only bad thing was room 15 the generator from the other hotel is right in back of bathroom window so it was very loud and the fumes came in through the bathroom cause the power went out which was not the hotels fault. We will be back again great hotel and location .

We had some confusion before our check in but the hotel staff were so nice and accommodating! Everyone was helpful and we were provided s’mores over the fire Friday night! Parking can be a little tricky but we loved it and would def come back again!

All the staff were very helpful, cheerful, and courteous. All evenings events were fun. The use of Kayaks and paddle boards were fun and accessible and staff helpful. The full experience and the Lake Motel was excellent and we would definitely return back.

The parking was a big challenge. Long narrow private driveway with no space to turn around. You have to back out or do 3 point turn each time. The beach access is down a steep hill that I personally could not manage due to my knee problems, I didn’t get to use the pool, beach area due to access. Our room was very clean and updated, but only 1 night stand to share.
