The small room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect for showering and sleeping in between excursions. The front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful. Being able to extend my checkout from the TV was wildly convenient. Komeda Cafe on the second floor had great service and was convenient. Additionally, Family Mart convenience store was right around the corner.

The room was quite small, but had a nice experience overall. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue was there is only one elevator for 14 floors and only two sets of washer/dryers.

APA Hotel Shibuya Dogenzakaue is within a 12 minute walk of Shibuya Station, making it fantastic for easily reaching most of Tokyo. The hotel room itself was clean and with AC on, quite pleasant (though tiny), the staff do their best to communicate even through the language barrier, and there are facilities on premise in case you need to quickly wash clothes or get a drink. There are several convenience stores nearby, making it easy to access banking services and food, and the on-premise cafe has great food until it closes at 9:30. Downside: during the summer, the hallways can be incredibly hot and humid. Should I be blessed to have another trip to Japan, I'll be staying here again.

I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that but the check-in was easy with helpful & considerate staff. The rooms are small but very clean & comfortable. You have more than everything you need for your stay. Very nice bedding & the bathrooms were in excellent condition. I was very satisfied with the room & would recommend to anyone staying in this area. Also, the room was very quiet. I didn't hear any road noise when the window was shut.

Staff are great and location is close by to the square but other than that, it is really dirty. I woke up really itchy and come to realize the sheets were dirty. Throughout my week of stay, i started getting bites. it was so bad i had to spend another night in another hotel to recover.

I like the proximity to Shibuya and major metro lines. I didn't like the smell in the washroom and the carpet seems dirty. I paid attention before and after cleaning schedule and the carpet seems not cleaned. There is also a stain on the carpet by the fridge.

The hotel was okay. The problem I had was there was 1 lift for over 10 floors and no stairs option. Leaving my room and heading to the lobby/reception took about 20 minutes as the lifts were completely packed. The room was okay. Didn’t feel clean through and through. Hairs in the shower and randomly in a bag with fresh towels. The staff were accommodating and friendly

The bed was alright, though it would have been nice to have the option of two duvets instead of one, when traveling as a couple. The room felt a bit moist. The was a lot of dust in the “hard to reach” surfaces. Overall the hotel was decent.

Amazing Hotel great staff very helpful very courteous very kind. However, the rooms are extremely squeezed, and my window opened up to another building.. However, given that this is a value for money, Hotel, I think it is outstanding and would definitely book it again. I would however request for a better room with some kind of view other than a building

Room is EXTREMELY small for two people. No closets and no space for bags!! BR is quite hazardous with high steps. Tried to print a copy of passport and I was told printer is broken!! They tried to charge me late checkout fees at 11:20 when they never informed us about the ridiculously early 10am check out!! On the other hand, location was excellent. Facility was very clean. Breakfast was simple and cute!!

We knew the rooms in Tokyo were small but we definitely were surprised at just how small they were! No cupboards, very small bed for two ppl but great staff and amazing location! We were close to everything!

I loved the location of this hotel, just a short walk from Shibuya station and the shopping area surrounding the neighbourhood. As a (very) young female solo traveller, I felt completely safe and comfortable in the environment. There are many convenience stores down the street just a few meters away, as well as dessert places and street food restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place to others alike as well as family, or really anyone looking to stay in the heart of Shibuya. There was a fire alarm at about 12:30am one night but the staff handled the situation incredibly well and got everyone to safety swiftly. Once the coast was clear, everyone entered the hotel again really quickly thanks to the communication of the staff. I would stay here again, no doubt!

It started terribly. When we arrived @ 5pm - we were told the room was not ready. And we were told to "walk around and come back" and come back. We arrived after 5pm The hotel website indicated, that check in was @ 3pm - clients expect to be able to check in and have rooms ready at 3pm. Check in process was very slow. It seems like they were not aware that they had a big booking that day. I was with a big group. However, the staff was very apologetic and tried their best to work as fast as possible. I would like to reiterate, if you advertise check in is at 3 pm - have your rooms ready @ 3pm. Don't tell your clients "walk around and come back." When people travel, most of the time they are very exhausted, and to be told to "walk around and come back" 2 hours after designated check in time - is not going to be received pleasantly.

APA Hotel Shibuya is in a great location. The included breakfast was enough to get the day started right. I ordered a 2nd helping one day because i was hungry around 800 yen. Very reasonable. The location is close enough to the action around Shibuya Crossing without being kept up all night from the noise. It's at the top of.a hill. So if you're pushing luggage from Shibuya Station, take the elevator to exit on the 4th Floor of Shibuya Mark Center

This places was perfect in terms of location very close to shibuya crossing like an 8 minute walk. I enjoyed staying here we even booked an extra night here. the only con is that the rooms are very small, but that is anywhere in tokyo. Breakfast was good always looked forward to the fluffy bread. I would stay here again.

Overall an excellent hotel to stay. I gave Good rating only because the room was way too small. It was the actually the smallest room I ever slept in. Check in was quick and easy. The staff interaction was minimal during our checkin. The staff were polite and very helpful. Room had everything. The restaurant on 2nd floor was neat, clean and with lots to choose from. Loved the restaurant and staff was super friendly. The location of the hotel was excellent and close to restaurants and shopping area. The shibuya station was probably 5-10 minutes walk. My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and very satsified with the hotel.
