Its a lovely small hotel with friendly helpful staff that does an excellent included breakfast. My only criticisms would be 1. The WiFi is tempermental and not really "superfast" 2. They dont really make enough of the roof terrace that gives fantastc views over the Grand Harbour...its hardly advertised in the hotel. Would have thought it would have made sense to have the small hotel bar up on the terrace rather than down by reception.

The room I had, #101, is the room with both the balcony and the classic Valletta box-bay window that you can see in the picture at left at lower most left corner of the picture. There is a large diversity to the rooms on offer. There is no gym, the bar is small and the breakfast is 'full-english' and while it is a modest spread, the food was good. The room was all tile and marble, ~13' x 13' plus the walk in box-bay area, ~3' x 7' and a small walk in bump out to access the balcony via french doors. The bathroom was large with a long tub and shower combo. There was a hotel sized desk, coffee maker, iron, blanket, extra pillows and with the box-bay and french doors and even a window in the bathroom the cross ventilation was excellent as was the A/C. Hotel's claim to fame is its views which were excellent in both the daytime and the nighttime. It is very centrally located just two blocks from the cathedral, however the elevation up to the main part of the city is ~ a 200 foot climb. So be prepared to climb some 70 to 100 stairs up and still have some more incline to reach level, main city ground. Staff was very friendly. Many good eateries and places for drinks nearby one right outside the hotel with an alfresco terrace (drinks not dinner) and several even as you climb those steps. Very good value for the price. I would consider staying again.

This is superb location to see Valletta with amazing views over the harbour. We were fortunate enough to have one of the rooms that had its own terrace, but the terrace on the 7th floor, which all residents can use is fantastic. If we ever visit Valletta again, we will strive to get the same room.

View from the terrace is amazing. Great location. Well maintained. Harbor ferry is right next to the hotel. Bus station is 15 min walk. Wifi signal is not great on the 6th floor. Hotel is accessible only via a steep street with stairs - not recommend for people with mobility issues. Very noisy at night from the tourist area.

Loved this privately-run hotel. It's a great price for Valletta, especially since breakfast is included. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get a harbour view room, so had windows but no view. I was on the 6th floor, just a few steps from the lovely rooftop terrace which overlooks the Three Cities. You'll get fit here - there are quite a lot of steps up to the main drag of Valletta. Take the ferry to Birgu for a wander around and to see Fort St Angelo. Upon return to Valletta, you can take the Barrakka Lift - it's only a euro each way if buying a ticket, but is included at no extra cost in the ferry ticket.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and it was good for our 3 nights. The room was small but comfortable. For older, less able, folks it was a steep walk up to the main streets of Valletta. The best features of the hotel were a good breakfast (included) and the amazing view from the roof-top balcony.

Great location. 8 minute walk to bus station. Good food and atmosphere right outside your door. Moldy room and cheap uncomfortable mattress. Breakfast included was just okay, not a wide variety. On our last day the elevator was out of service and we had to carry our bags down 5 flights. Uggh

This hotel is in a fabulous location with probably the best views of the grand harbour in Valletta. The decor is a little tired and old fashioned - they should really get rid of the cushions in the beds - but everything is spotlessly clean and in good working order. The staff are very helpful and friendly and go out of their way to assist you in any way they can. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful to set you up for the day. Our room was huge with a wrap around view out onto the harbour - simply wonderful although it would have been nice to have a nice comfy chair to sit and enjoy the view rather than a table and chair. The hotel is based very closed to lots of great bars and the main Merchant Street strip. This was our second stay and I know we will definitely stay again.

シービューの部屋でしたが、眺望は素晴らしく大満足でした。部屋は広く、シャワー、トイレ、洗面台もゆったり。シャワーヘッドが取り外し出来ないタイプで残念。水圧、温度良し。清掃は行き届いており清潔です。トイレのタンクからの微量の水漏れ、テーブルがガタガタする、タオルが古びている、部屋の窓を開けると閉まらないなど不具合はあります。 4泊しましたが、飲食店にも困らず、ゴゾフェリー乗り場まで歩いて2〜3分、バスステーションへも10分かかりません。立地と旧市街の雰囲気、早朝、夜の散歩の価値、リーズナブルな宿泊費を考えると貴重な素敵なホテルだと思います。

Dans cet hôtel apparemment assez récemment rénové, notre chambre n'était pas extraordinaire (literie moyenne, toute petite télé, wifi aléatoire, bruit de l'ascenseur), mais cependant très propre. Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très correct. Mais le gros point fort de cet hôtel est sa situation géographique, à quelques minutes à pieds des principaux musées, encore plus près des Upper Barracks, et juste au dessus du Waterfront en descendant par Victoria Gate. Bref, c'est le camp de base idéal pour sillonner La Valette.

For what we paid bedroom and bathroom was tiny . When we bookedvit sait bathtub which there wasnt . Reception area a let down fir a grand hotel but views were amazing . Stayed in better rooms for less money . But iver all place is clean breakfast adequate and easy reach for Valletta.

I liked the room with 2 balconies. I liked the view from the room and the view from the roof terrace. I liked that the hotel was close to everything in the centre. I liked that we got a bag with fruit and yoghurt when we had to leave the hotel very early( before breakfast). I missed a fridge in the room and the bathroom was really basic.

Ok…biggest problem were the windows. It was a very windy day (not hotels fault) but the windows were very old (catches loose & falling apart) and drafts were coming through resulting in a high pitched whistle ALL night. Curtains were moving due to draft. No sleep at all. If the windows were not so old and all properly sealed, this would not have happened. I have a video of this taken at 4am! Flashing warning Lights in our room included, green flashing lights for smoke, two x red lights flashing all night for sensors. Red Tv light on, blue cable box on all night. This and the huge noise of wind and whistling was not indifferent to being in an emergency aeroplane landing that took 8 hours to land! Towels old and small and need to be changed. Pillows lumpy. Furniture old and dated. Bathroom toiletries laughable! 2 x shower and bath bottles half the size of my little finger. I got my right leg washed as my wife did with her bottle and we are not big! One piece of soap smaller than an after eight mint! Bed was a sheet with a bed cover….no duvet. On the plus side….amazing view of the harbour! And great location for the price. Shower was very pleasant too….shame about the soap and gel!

Location could not have been more perfect! 2 minutes from Valetta town center (to the right) and 4 minutes to the harbour with water taxis and ferries (to the left). Everyone working in the hotel that we were in contact with were kind, helpful, smiling - with good tour advice and even helped with airport transport to and from. Thanks to everyone for giving us a great stay! The room was spacious and immaculately clean. We had booked one of the rooms with the huge balcony. The evenings relaxing with the view of the city and the habour were priceless. It is worth every penny, and more, to have that space. Breakfast was good. It had all you needed, and a good atmosphere every morning, as in the rest of the hotel. We choose Valetta as a base for travelling round the island. Travelling was easy with the ferries on our doorstep and the central bus station 10 minutes away as was the hop-on-hop-off bus stop and the pick-up point for trips booked to the surrounding attractions such as the blue lagoon (booked through Supreme Travel). One recommendation for dinner - if you turn left outside the hotel, walk a couple of flights up the stairs with the bars, the most beautiful Italian restaurant (Grana) is just there, literally 2 minutes away. If we are ever fortunate enough to visit Malta again, we know where we will be staying.

Hôtel très bien situé, très propre, au coeur de la Valette calme, isolation phonique intérieure un peu limitée mais ancien bâtiment donc c'est normal. Chambre simple mais propre.Accueil assez froid cependant. Attention prises de courant version UK ! Nous n'avons pas pris de petit déjeuner ni restaurant donc nous ne pouvons pas juger. I loved the location of this hotel. Very walkable, and close to the bus stop as well. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again in the future. Don’t forget to checkout the rooftop terrace on the sixth floor - views are incredible especially at night.

Definitely a super strategic location. Couldn't be better placed. Will likely stay there again if returning to Malta because it is just on top of the ferry to Gozo, which makes it a 2 min walk! Additionally, it's right at the end of a strip of cafes and restaurants and walking minutes from the main plaza and the terminal to take all the buses, including the one to the airport (X4).

Mostly good hotel in great location, but the wifi was absurd, making you sign in every time. Most recognize your phone after one time. Plus, the TV kept turning off after an hour or so. I was told it was standard practice worldwide to prevent it staying on indefinitely, necessitating pressing a button to continue. Ridiculous. No other TV I used worldwide does this. Then, it would not return to the channel with a normal screen. Just an inset. Sometimes turning on and off for 10 seconds. I showed video to desk clerk. Breakfast good. Hard for taxis to find small road. Laundromat (expensive) nearby.

What a nice little hotel in Valletta. I booked for the harbor view and it was amazing. Our first time in Malta and this part of it is breathtaking. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were all so nice. It was so convenient to walk to everything in Valletta. There’s a rooftop area with a 360 degree view as well so take advantage of it! Breakfast was included and was great. This is a really nice hotel and you can’t beat the views!

Excellent location, great breakfast, staff helpful, room clean. Close to ferries, bus station and everything in Valletta. Great roof top terrace looking over at 3 cities. Be aware of noisy bands and singers on weekend nights outside hotel. Poor WiFi which keeps dropping.

Good location for all main tourist spots. Nice room with views over the harbour. Staff all very pleasant. Breakfast was limited but sufficient for my needs. Wi-fi was very slow and connection kept dropping meaning I ended up back on data regularly. Overall happy with my stay and would consider using this hotel if I was to return to Valletta.
