Palais Le Brun

Loved the rooftop pool with bar and meal options. Great place to relax and spend the day or evening. The hotel breakfast was also a delight. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Getting an Uber was always easy as the hotel is well situated in the heart of town. Most restaurants are a 5-10 minute walk away. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful 3-night stay at Palais Le Brun 🌟 Firstly, the staff at this hotel are AMAZING. Super friendly, attentive, and would do anything they can for you. We spent some time relaxing in the rooftop pool, having drinks at the bar, etc, and Fatima in particular is a credit to the hotel. First class service from her 👏 Our room was lovely, quiet, and clean. Lovely breakfast, amenities were great - including the gym. It's not huge, but it gives you everything you need to get a workout done 🏃‍♀️ Would definitely recommend staying here - I'll certainly be back !!

Fint och elegant hotell, med bra service, städning och frukost. Fina utrymmen på takterassen om än en kall pool. Finns poolmeny och drinkar. Mycket fina rum och gillade vår egen terass.

Geweldig boutique hotel in Valletta, dicht bij alle activiteiten van deze kleine maar levendige stad. Ruime kamers, met een prima badkamer, goede airconditioning die je ook daadwerkelijk behoorlijk kan laten koelen. Het ontbijt is goed verzorgt met vers fruit, brood, vleeswaren, yoghurt in 3 smaken, muesli, verse jus, diverse soorten eieren en diverse zoetigheden. Roof top pool is klein, maar net lekker om op een warme dag even af te koelen.

Rummet och hotellet var superbt. Frukost att välja från Meny. Pool, bar och solstolar på taket. Läget var perfekt med gångavstånd till allt och tyst på nätterna Rekommenderas

The breakfast was great with plenty of options. Staff very friendly. Roof pool was perfectly adequate for a cooling dip if not huge.

Nice room bathroom and balcony and good location. Let down by service. Hot breakfast had to be ordered as soon as you sat at your table or the waiter hovered over you until you did. Not a very relaxing start to the day. All the umbrellas on rooftop pool area had been cable tied so you couldn’t open them for shade although this was sorted when I complained to reception thankfully as it would have made the area unusable. Pool bar was poorly stocked and items not replaced when sold out.

Das Hotel liegt mitten in Valletta und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Trotzdem ist es ruhig genug, um zu entspannen. Vom ersten Moment an der Rezeption, beim Frühstück, Zimmerservice und an der Poolbar waren die MitarbeiterInnen unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der einzige Abzug bei der Sauberkeit gilt dem Pool, da das Wasser sichtbar mit einem Ölfilm verschmutzt war und auch Haare nicht vom Filter erfasst wurden. Es gab aber gleich Abhilfe, nachdem das Problem gemeldet wurde.

Great location, comfortable bed and pillow. Decent size room, not immaculately clean as there was hair hanging on the lampshade. The main issue was different types of noise - unfortunately my hearing is sensitive. I have had a private hot tub room. In other hotels, the jet was always off until it is being turned out. However the jet in the hot tub at this hotel turned itself on even tried turning it off numerous times. I did not realise that on my first night therefore there was a low pitch humming noise which disturbed my sleep. I had turned the main switch off on my second night to stop the noise. However, the washing machine in the staff room next door started at about 7am in the morning which disturbed my second night of sleep. The hotel compensated with a 30 minutes massage which was greatly appreciated. But on the forth night, I had no control of the hot tab in the room next door...it was on the whole night. I could not sleep and asked to change to a quiet room, appreciated that the hotel staff was very helpful and changed to a quiet room. I was being charged for that room rate, difference is only by cents but I felt that I was being punished by the noise as well as the inconvenience. I did not have decent sleep 3 out of the 4 nights of my stay. Breakfast quality was good however the portion size was far from generous. Especially the amount of bake beans offered, it was served in a tiny relish pot which contains barely couple of tea spoons worth of

Obwohl Palais Le Brun sehr zentral gelegen ist, war es keineswegs laut. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und super zuvorkommend. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Ich komme gerne wieder zurück! Als einzige Verbesserungsmöglichkeit sehe ich, dass von den alten Teppichen ein leicht älterer Geruch ausging - dieser war aber nicht penetrant und nur gelegentlich zu vernehmen.

Das Zimmer war im neuen Gebäude. Es war sehr klein. Mit 2 großen Koffern wird es super eng. Das Zimmer & Bad waren top. Alles sehr sauber. Frühstück ausreichend, Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Absolute top Lage. Würde sofort wieder buchen.

Room was dark and smelt strongly of damp. Shortened stay consequently as was not happy. For a 5 star hotel it has blue liquid soap in the shower and bedding pillows were poor quality.

Hotel was very clean and well looked after, staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Location was very convenient for eateries and sightseeing.

Room was spotless as was the hotel generally, heard no noises around or within the hotel during my stay

Clean, up-to-date, and well-appointed room. Conveniently located, yet still away from noisier bustle of night life. Bathroom was adequately sized and modern but without any shelf or counter space. Breakfast included hot made-to-order items. Breakfast and terrace bar staff were excellent and very friendly. Our room with queen sized bed was exceedingly cramped with no room for luggage, did not meet expectation in that regard.

This hotel is indeed a palace! Our deluxe double with balcony was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean with a Maltese balcony - perfect for watching the nightly fireworks. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and efficient. The breakfast fresh and tasty with plenty of options. The street is quiet and about a 5 minute walk to the huddle and bustle of Republic Street. A beautiful place to stay which we definitely recommend

Very nice & comfortable room, albeit small. Had balcony with jacuzzi! Staff very pleasant and helpful. Included breakfast very good, with hot cooked-to-order items available. Convenient location, tho hilly. Felt very safe, even at night.

Lovely hotel. We were in room 52 which had a sea view and a balcony with hot hub. Breakfast was a cold buffett and cooked to order hot selection. Staff were helpful, professional and friendly. Always smiling and welcoming.

We stayed in the more expensive renovated part of this hotel and it was exquisite. The beds were good but they need to be regularly turned around as one side is high and the other low as that is the side everyone sleeps on. My only other bed comment is that the hotel needs to invest in fitted bottom sheets. The ones they have are not huge and the slip out from being tucked in. Just annoying. Otherwise a first class hotel!

The hotel location was fabulous. In a quiet street. The hotel has 2 buildings. We stayed in the second one, they claim is newer. The room was comfy. Small. Not much space for suitcases. One small window so you need to turn on the lights during the day. They provide sleepers & bathrobe. Shampoo & body soap large bottles. The bathroom is a decent size. You have plenty of space for your toiletries. The hotel has an amazing rooftop with pool (not heated) lounge chairs and a magnificent view. The breakfast was fantastic. Made to order menu. Coffee delicious, fruit, breads, cheeses, order eggs any style, sweets, etc. The front desk very helpful. You can walk everywhere from this location. Restaurants nearby as well as shops. Enjoy your stay & Valletta. Charming city.

Location is fantastic. Pool area and pool bartender were excellent. Breakfast was lovely - I sat at a table on a gorgeous side street. I asked for, and had verbal confirmation for, a taxi to the airport at 6:30am. Unfortunately the driver was not there - the reception had not contacted anyone. I couldn’t get another driver for 10 minutes. I’ve never had that level of miscommunication around airport transportation with a hotel before. Additionally, the bathtub did not drain, the rain head shower didn’t work, and the light in the bathroom didn’t work. Maintenance did fix the light and the drain but the rain head shower never worked.

The staff at Palais Le Brun were extremely accommodating. We had a minor problem with our room which they amended without any problems or inconvenience to us. They are all very polite and always enquire if everything is OK. The hotel itself for us was in a great position for visiting Valletta even if it was a walk up hill each morning, but it was always down hill after a long day. Would we stay again, definitely. :)

Excellent staff! Great location for all the main things to do in Valletta - everything we wanted to do (museums, historic buildings, restaurants and bars etc) was 10 - 15 minutes walk max, and often closer. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Excellent hotel and staff. Wonderful breakfast and table service with a smile. The only issues we had was that on two occasions the roof top bar was not staffed for at least 20 mins during its “opening hours”. The other issue related to a dinner reservation that was made by the hotel staff but

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All staff were professional, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent a good choice and of a high standard. We also had a very unexpected surprise when we came back to find balloons, birthday card and 2 glasses of prosecco in our room to celebrate my birthday all organised by the hotel, a very lovely and unexpected touch. Thank you !

Great overall return stay to Palais Le Brun. My only complaint was having the same member of staff calling the room abruptly at exactly 11am, to advise check out was at 11am. We split our stay to allow us to spend a few nights on Gozo mid-trip and this issue occurred on both check out days at the hotel. A slight grace period is provided at any hotel I’ve stayed at before, never mind a hotel of this higher standard and price, and therefore to be called in that manner is not acceptable. I would also consider an 11am check out to be earlier than offered by some local competitor hotels which are Midday. I would respectfully suggest staff members provide a grace period before calling guests immediately at check out time.

Service was impeccable. From the front desk to the bartender, to the breakfast crew; everyone was so pleasant and helpful.

Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is impressive and well maintained, pool and bar area is very relaxing. We found on arrival the standard room was a bit small with limited storage but was offered a larger room at no extra cost so cannot fault their commitment to customer satisfaction.

No coração de Valletta! Muito bom custo benefício e excelente serviço e café da amanhã adequado. Considere que terá de subir dois quarteirões para chegar ao centro. Nada de mais, porém para pessoas com crianças e mobilidade reduzida, tem de ser considerado

Wonderful location, staff and hotel. All so so good! Only mention is that music is very loud from surrounding areas on a Friday night. But otherwise the staff were wonderful, made me feel really safe as a lone traveller. Would stay here again!

Likes - comfortable bed, good facilities, nice breakfast, good sized pool terrace. Dislikes - room opposite lift, bedroom not v dark though good curtains - light from under door, flashing smoke alarm, strange light on ceiling in corner of a room, aircon light etc At bottom of street so need to be ok with walking up many steep streets to get to centre but then Valetta is hilly! A building is being refurbed at end of street so cranes, workmen etc

The hotel is located in a great quiet location in the heart of Valletta, but only steps away from the bustling tourist area where you will find countless restaurants, cafes and attractions. This area is very walkable and you can easily get around to the fortresses. Also, the staff at the hotel are wonderful.

Well located in the old city of Valletta, and in a very well done conversion of lovely old buildings. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very professional. Our bedroom was very generously sized with windows opening onto a light well in the centre of the building. One minor criticism was a lack of drawers for clothes that don't hang up. There would have been ample room for a chest of drawers but it meant leaving some clothes in our cases. The roof terrace area and pool is a great asset. Breakfast choices were great with a variety to suit all tastes. Would be very happy to stay at Palais Le Brun again.

The stay was overall good. The room was clean, although the air was stuffy when we entered the room. The staff was great – very friendly and helpful. We expected more variety at the breakfast buffet (there were no vegetables unfortunately. The pastries were really good, but the cheese/ham section didn't look very inviting). Air conditioner was easy to manage. Kept the room warm and fresh.

Excellent breakfast and open until 10;30 am which means they understand that people are there for a break. Staff very helpful and co-operative and go out of their way to help..

I would give this 4 and a half stars. You can only get one menu item at breakfast so when I got French toast (small but delicious portion) and wanted scrambled eggs I’d have to pay extra. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Wir hatten ein Delux Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht. War leider nicht so, zwar ein Balkon aber so klein, das nur eine Person darauf stehen konnte. Der Frühstücksraum war dermaßen klein, das man sehr beengt sitzen musste und zu den Stoßzeiten sehr viel Hektik und Unruhe aufkam, so das ein ruhige frühstücken nicht möglich war. Sehr schade. Ansonsten sehr freundliches Personal und sehr sauberes Hotel.4 Sterne für das Hotel würde ich nicht geben.

Podczas sniadan był problem z obsługą, która nie nadążała obsługiwać kilku stolików. Nie uzupełniała na czas bufetu, szklanek i nie uzupełniała sztućców.

Excellent hotel in Valletta! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well furnished. The staff was very helpful and made some excellent dinner reservations for us. The breakfast was delicious with a small fruit/bread buffet and several hot menu choices. The location is very good with many restaurants, shops, and sites nearby. The only noticeable improvement would be a replacement of the worn towels otherwise a top notch experience. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience, rooms are beautiful and clean, location perfect for a quiet getaway, jacuzzi was an unexpected surprise following the room upgrade. Staff is amazing, attentive, reapectful and corteous, breakfast deliciois. Overall lovely relaxing stay.

Amazing staff, who were all very friendly, especially the breakfast staff. Good responses to a couple of emails before our trip. They provided a nice baby cot and baby bath. The room and ensuite bathroom were spacious. The bed was gargantuan! There was very little street noise. The cooked breakfast was good and they provided vegetarian alternatives. The coffee could be improved. There was a nice view from the rooftop terrace and the pool was open (though we did not use it as it was a little too cold at the time of our trip).
