Great location, lovely rooftop pool & restaurant, very helpful staff. Rooftop Restaurant/Bar is open to non residents and not very large so can be very busy and difficult for residents to get a table, through staff try to be helpful.

Fabulous hotel! Perfectly located, and the room was amazing, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Everyone who works there is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We also enjoyed a lovely massage in the spa and some drinks by the stunning pool. I highly recommend it and would love to stay there again sometime!

My husband and I stayed at the Embassy Valletta hotel for two nights in October 2024 as part of our 20th wedding anniversary trip. It is a magical location - I cannot speak more highly of the heated outdoor infinity pool on the 7th floor which overlooks the city. We had a wonderful time on the sun chairs and took full advantage of the poolside food and beverage service. The breakfast is served on the 7th floor as well, and it was a delicious buffet with many options. We also had dinner on the 7th floor and were impressed with the service. In fact, we had exceptional client service in all areas of the hotel and felt truly welcomed by all staff members. I used the gym, which had a wide range of equipment, was properly air conditioned, and had towels and water available. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. with good pressure. The hotel is absolutely in the center of Valletta, so you are in walking distance of a ton of attractions, restaurants and shops. We highly recommend the hotel.

Beds excellent, as was room size, drinking water etc. restaurant food was not good value, (fresh fish is cooked better elsewhere), but rooftop sunsets and cocktails lovely. Just wish pool was open before 10.30 am- nice and warm water in April ., and open until 19.00.

Really good central location and clean modern hotel.. It just missed in a couple of areas for example the pool area needs to be accessed through the lovely rooftop restaurant and it has the effect of making both sunbathers/pool goers and the diners feel a bit uncomfortable. One or two of the Rooftop staff whilst ok seemed a bit brusque and not very well trained. The hotel made a room error in check in but the management dealt with this is an efficient and fair way so it wasn’t an issue.

Very central hotel and comfortable. Nice to have access to the small pool, although gets really busy and not always somewhere to sit. Biggest issue was the noise late at night from Thursday to Sunday, with live music and singing in the streets below. I do feel that should be mentioned on the website.

This property is very conveniently located at the old city of Valletta. One can walk to all pointss of interest and the bus terminal is also very close. The staff is very polite and helpful the rooms are clean and the facility seems to have been recently renovated. If we return to Malta, we will stay there again.

Well kept hotel in the centre of Valletta with very friendly and helpful staff . We wanted to stay in Valletta for the Bianca Notte festival on October 5th . Whilst it was very convenient it was also very noisy outside at night all week into the early hours.In recent years there has been an explosion of bars and restaurants in the small side streets , many with loud music . Whilst popular with many tourists I personally felt the city centre has lost its elegance because of this so would not stay in central Valletta again. But the hotel itself is of a good standard . Pool small . Some issues with housekeeping who kept forgetting towels which was a nuisance but otherwise good . One suggestion for management - the room was extremely spacious but clothes storage limited and only one chair in a double room .

heart of Valletta. Other reviews were negative about the noise levels. We were on the lowest floor and the soundproofing was excellent. Could barely hear the lively cafes, bars, nightlife. Views from rooftop pool and sun lounge were fantastic.

Fabulous hotel! Perfectly located, and the room was amazing, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Everyone who works there is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We also enjoyed a lovely massage in the spa and some drinks by the stunning pool. I highly recommend it and would love to stay there again sometime!

Really large room and comfortable. Fantastic location. So central. Didn’t use pool as I was there in December but looked great. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again. Only criticism is that it can be a little noisy at night from the bars opposite hotel..although they did stop at 11.

Good location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was nice. Room was clean but the air conditioning was too cold. At night I turned it off due to the chill and the comforter was a heavy winter comforter. Then I got hot and had to turn on AC again. The cycle repeated over and over which left me sleep deprived

We had a good, spacious room with a comfortable bed, large shower and a lovely view. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooftop restaurant was very good; again with a great view. The decor everywhere was very stylish. The hotel is in a perfect spot for all the sights, shopping, restaurants, bars and within easy reach of the harbour for boat trips. The only negatives were that our balconies (we had two) were very small and there was only one chair between the two of them! (We did not point this out to the staff though, so we probably should have!) On the Friday and Saturday nights it was pretty noisy until about 2 in the morning and the windows and curtains did not shut the noise out. However, this did not spoil our enjoyment of our stay there and the noise was singing and happy shouting - just people having a good time (no trouble of any kind as far as we could tell).

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Glorious pool, bar and restaurant on a terrace overlooking the city. Rooms are quiet with L’Occitane toiletries. Would highly recommend. Our 2nd visit, hopefully not the last.

Super cute boutique hotel in the middle of the action with wonderful staff. Unfortunately, we had lots of issues. Anything from housekeeping not replacing coffee and towels to the door card being faulty. Housekeeping eventually got on board and was great after about 2 days, but I think this was largely due to the tips I left. The door card issue meant our door wouldn't lock or unlock without the front desk assisting so we slept in a room that could have been compromised. The front desk couldn't move us because the hotel was full, but they did comp us 2 drinks at the rooftop bar which is a must. Yummy drinks and the view. The staff was great with all of the mishaps, but one unforgivable issue was them not arranging a taxi after we had spoken to two different staff members. The person in the morning was able to scramble to get a taxi there at 4:30am, but it added stress to catching a day trip flight to Sicily. Overall I would stay here and I did very much appreciate the prosecco greeting.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Embassy in Valletta – the hotel is lovely, the rooms are very comfortable, and most of the staff were pleasant and professional. Unfortunately, our experience was let down by the rooftop manager, who was consistently rude and dismissive. When we tried to book a table from our room, we were told none were available, only to find many empty when we went up. We were then seated awkwardly in a corner. When I asked to book for the next night, I was told it was “impossible – absolutely not” as it was “for hotel guests only”. I clarified that we had already been staying for three nights, to which she replied, “Why didn’t you say?” – despite it being the second time I had. A complimentary drink was offered after that incident, but it didn’t make up for the repeated unpleasantness and witnessing her argue with other staff in front of guests. We also had an issue with parking – we were told part of the fee would be waived (as it had been on other days), but realised it wasn’t when we reached the car park in a rush to leave. The hotel apologised over email but didn’t offer a refund.

out of hours staff extremely helpful when we had issues and needed to move rooms, however reception were less than polite or helpful especially the person with white framed glasses who was sarcastic and extremely rude constantly Inconsistencies with staff knowledge. one minute a hotel taxi is 25 2 hours later rate is 35! one minute c late check out is confirmed next minute… how dare you. no it’s not confirmed Would never stay here again because of inexperienced staff and rude staff

Overall, this is an excellent hotel in a fantastic location. It offers convenient access to the Three Cities, Sliema, and the Gozo ferry terminals. Key attractions like St. John’s Co-Cathedral, the lively Republic and Merchant Streets, Grand Harbour, Upper Barrakka Gardens, Triton Fountain, and the Valletta bus terminal are all within walking distance. Valletta is worthy of stating several days and this is a great location for all main historic sites. Walking everywhere is easy. If you want to see other areas of Malta, you should book somewhere else and divide your visit

The hotel is located very close to the main shopping area of Valletta, literally only a 20-second walk to arrive into the middle of the shopping street. The staff were consistently excellent during the stay, friendly and offering to assist. Some rooms (included mine) face onto a narrow alley which is a source of noise until past midnight most nights - music from nearby restaurants, places taking in/putting out their street furniture, etc. If you need or prefer total quiet, would suggest to ask for a room away from that side of the building. For me it was ok but I didn't stay the weekend Overall it's a great hotel in an excellent location, would recommend.

The only thing I would say in terms of improvements is perhaps to better train the staff at breakfast. The supervisor was good but no one proactively came and asked for coffee/tea orders. The staff were nice, no question, I just think they could be better trained to be more attentive to the visitors. It felt like they had been trained to be attentive to the table cleanliness only (which is obviously a good thing!) My other observation is that in the evenings the restaurant receives visitors who want to Instagram photos of the beautiful view but the people doing it don’t really consider their impact to the people trying to have a quiet meal right next to their photo taking. It would be good if staff could move the Instagrammers on to a quieter area to allow diners to enjoy their meals and the view in peace. Food was really good tho!!

BOOK IT!! Perfect location. Couldn't be happier. Modern, nice amenities, professional and super nice staff. Prosecco and cold washcloth on arrival. 24hr desk, pool, spa, restaurant. Not too big/impersonal and not too small. Beautiful renovation. Given age of the building there may be a layout quirk or two. There is a water station on every floor so you can refill bottles. Booked transport to/from airport thru the hotel and couldn't be happier (we usually do ourselves). For those travelling from the US, we highly recommend this lovely modern European 4-4.5 star hotel. No dedicated concierge but front desk will happily help, couple of stairs on entrance but a glass lift should you need. Our room for 6 nights was fantastic! (terrace sea view jacuzzi) but quite dark; could use brighter lights. Outlets and USB ports appreciated, note there are none in bathroom. The restaurant on the roof is next to the pool. Great view and ambiance but sorry to say food at dinner was underwhleming. Overall, a gem in a very interesting country. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so welcoming.

A fabulous hotel in a super central location. Everywhere is walkable. Breakfast buffet of high quality. The rooftop pool, bar and restaurant was a highlight of our stay, not only for the view and cocktail menu but the lovely and helpful staff. Shout out to Luka at reception who was very helpful and welcoming.

We had an issue on the first night, and the receptionist managed to sorted it all out for us once raised. He was very apologetic for something that was out of their control but we’re grateful that he was able to accommodate. In fact the reception team during our stay were great. If I was to criticise, as we went during a low peak season, some facilities were out of use and the breakfast selections wasn’t as good for a 4* as I would have expected. With that being said, a gentleman in a white shirt who greeted us every morning throughout our stay at the breakfast room was great! He always had a smile, and ensured we were looked after. Overall, the location of the hotel was great and the staff made it enjoyable.
