El personal es muy atento y servicial, sin embargo, el lugar no es como en las fotos, algunas áreas carecen de mantenimiento. En nuestro caso, la habitación estaba anunciada con alberca privada, pero, en realidad era una pileta con agua que no de veía limpia. Por otra parte, las toallas estan limpias, pero con manchas que ya no se quitan, pedimos el cambio y tenían hoyos

This is a quiet, clean, and friendly little boutique hotel. It has some unique character and charm. Pool is just for wading and cooling off, not swimming. AC works great. Breakfast is included and simple but enough to get your day started right. Easy walk to all main attractions in downtown area, but immediate area around hotel is old and unkempt to an extent. It was just right for our needs for a few days and we enjoyed our stay very much!

En general bien, solo q no cuenta con estacionamiento propio, cuentan con un convenio q está a la vuelta y te cobran 150, el desayuno cumplió.

La habitacion esta regular el aire acondicionado no me gusto saca muchiso y pega en los pies pero no enfria bien el cuarto, en la descripcion tenia una alberca privada, la cual llegamos y estaba sucia, el dia estuvo lluvioso y no se si por eso no la limpiaron dieron por hecho que no la ibamos a usar, las toallas ya muy amarillas del uso, la luz del cuarto muy tenue y en la televison no se puede ver youtube, en general no me gusto, fue una experiencia no grata

The Pictures did not represent the hotel we booked. Inside the air conditioning had mold around it, the curtains had moth holes and when we closed the door, you can see it wasn’t aligned. Hotel in general did not look anything like the pictures. They must have use Photoshop because it needed a lot of work. I would not recommend it.

Overall it was a nice stay in Merida - the location is convenient for walking approximately 8 mins from plaza grande, auto progreso (public transportation), and many restaurants, bars, and stores were nearby as well. Ideal if you’ll be doing most of your stay by foot. The hotel itself was nice, the room was clean, AC worked well, and there were hot showers with great water pressure! However, there was a sewage smell in our room for a few days coming from the shower drain probably or from outside (maintenance did pour some cleaner but it still stayed). The lights for the outside private pool didn’t work either, I did notify maintenance 2 times but still didn’t get fixed. Staff overall is okay and not the most friendliest.

I wanted to like this property because the price was right and it is a small establishment yet , although I had prepaid for 6 nights, I left after the first night. When I arrived at the hotel, there was a desk in the room but no chair, no towels and a broken lamp. I was given one stained, fraying towel and washcloth. This place needs a major update!!

This was a great little hotel, with super helpful, friendly staff. Plunge pool was a nice respite from the afternoon heat. Breakfast was great. The only negative (and it would not keep me from staying again), is that you can hear everything due to the age, construction of the building and ventilation. Overall very happy with our stay.

Le personnel est charmant et à l'écoute! L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal, a 10 mn à pieds de la cathédrale mais l'hôtel est très calme et la nuit : aucun bruit. La chambre est grande ( rare de nos jours) et propre, le carrelage du sol est superbe (d'époque) le mobilier lui, est un peu trop ancien et aurait besoin de renouveau. La salle de bain est simpliste, propre et aurait aussi besoin d'un coup de peinture ou de modernité. L'ensemble de l'habitation est propre plutôt joli, mais il manque d'entretien. Au niveau des serviettes de douches aussi, trop vieilles et pas si blanches. La literie est correcte, aussi un peu ancienne, les oreillers aussi: en fait l'hôtel est joli, c'est une maison ancienne transformée, l'extérieur fleuri, la piscine petite mais existante, il manque juste de l'entretien, de la peinture, des renouvellements. Le petit déjeuner compris dans le prix est simple mais correct et frais, servi avec le sourire ! Le rapport qualité prix était très correct car c'était le black friday et la chambre donc à moitié prix ou presque. Sinon le prix serait un peu cher je pense.

The Art 57 Hotel hosted us for a 6 night stay in a junior suite with a pool. The hotel is well appointed with comfortable bed and furnishings. The pool is a small plunge pool with no outdoor seating area. There is a large bathroom with plenty of hotwater and good water pressure. The complimentary breakfast is basic with fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh orange juice, tea or coffee and a bread basket. The only small complaint is the sound transfer from the dining and main pool area to our room. But guests were compliant with the 10 pm quiet rule. Also a small fridge would make a big difference to guests.

Though not exactly buzzing, the location is a short walk from both Plaza Grande and Parque de Santa Lucia. Complementary continental breakfast and housekeeping leaves two bottles of water per day. AC worked seamlessly. Water pressure in shower could be better. No fridge in room. Staff are kind. They helped me print my boarding pass before I left for the airport.

Todo bien. Lo único es que la habitación que me asignaron es muuuy ruidosa. Da hacia la calle la cual es muy transitada y el ruido de los carros es muy molesto. Me costo mucho dormir por la noche.

The receptionist was incredibly rude and laughed at us when we explained the construction noise had become unbearable after three days we wanted one night refunded so we could go somewhere else; she pretended to call a manager then told me to contact my travel agency when my travel agency contacted her she would not provide her name or a way to get in touch with the manager - I have not asked for a manager in twelve years - this place needs to retrain their front desk staff before they lose customers - we will never return and we will not reccomend

Staff was super friendly and made their best to give us all we needed. The room was very clean and tidy, clean sheets and towels and the bathroom had enough space. Location is great just a few blocks from the main square. I strongly recommend one to stay at this hotel

La estancia como tal fue buena, a excepción de que cuando dejamos cuidando las maletas al hacer checkout para poder conocer la ciudad antes de ir al aeropuerto, fueron sutraidas pertenencias de mi maleta, como un reloj y encendedores que llevaba de regalo. Lastima que no pude asegurar esto hasta que llegue de regreso a donde radico casi 2 meses despues ya que pense que los habia dejado en casa.

El personal super amable y la tranquilidad del hotel muy bien, ademas de su excelente ubicación, felicidades hicieron que nos sintieramos muy seguros en nuestra estancia, el personal de recepción nos oriento en todas nuestras actividades, la sra del desayuno muy atenta y servicial. Volveremos a hospedarnos.

Pues si bien se ve limpia no atendieron las quejas la taza del baño no funcionaba bien no fluía el agua y los desechos sólidos no se iban tampoco relataron el foco fundido del baño y no había suficiente luz porque no tiene ventanas. No tenía secadora de cabello y pedí la plancha para planchar ropa y nunca la llevaron. No atendieron mis quejas ni peticiones. No regresaré nunca a ese hotel.

En general el hotel me pareció muy bueno, solo como observación, la calle en donde se ubica hay muy poca iluminación debido a que varias lámparas no funcionan, hay que ver cómo se puede solucionar ese detalle, por lo demás está muy bien, es un hotel pequeño, tranquilo y agradable, y la atención del personal es muy amable. Hay que ofrecer más opciones de platillos en el desayuno, tambien.

Clean and comfortable. The breakfast was of fruits, juice, toast and yoghurt was very good. Walking distance to the markets and restaurants nearby. Parking was just around the corner and very convenient

Overall it was a nice stay in Merida - the location is convenient for walking approximately 8 mins from plaza grande, auto progreso (public transportation), and many restaurants, bars, and stores were nearby as well. Ideal if you’ll be doing most of your stay by foot. The hotel itself was nice, the room was clean, AC worked well, and there were hot showers with great water pressure! However, there was a sewage smell in our room for a few days coming from the shower drain probably or from outside (maintenance did pour some cleaner but it still stayed). The lights for the outside private pool didn’t work either, I did notify maintenance 2 times but still didn’t get fixed. Staff overall is okay and not the most friendliest.

Breakfast is included and simple but enough to get your day started right. Easy walk to all main attractions in downtown area, but immediate area around hotel is old and unkempt to an extent. It was just right for our needs for a few days and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Lovely little Hotel with Garden feel. Room was cute and had a great hot shower ( a rarity it seems). Nice easy location, friendly staff. Coffee was good breakfast was ok. Included. I'd gladly stay again.

We spent 5 nights at this hotel. It is very centrally located. The breakfast was the same every day with the option to purchase eggs etc. We had a room on the second floor, we discovered the bar refrigerator was not working, the next day they had replaced it. On our last day they served us breakfast at 0730 instead of 0800 as we had an early bus. The front desk staff was helpful, especially the young lady who worked most nights. I would stay here again if in Merida. I would like to see the hotel offer breakfast earlier each day, say 0730 to 1000. This way you can get out and explore before the day gets too hot. Current breakfast times are 8 to 11.

The Art 57 Hotel hosted us for a 6 night stay in a junior suite with a pool. The hotel is well appointed with comfortable bed and furnishings. The pool is a small plunge pool with no outdoor seating area. There is a large bathroom with plenty of hotwater and good water pressure. The complimentary breakfast is basic with fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh orange juice, tea or coffee and a bread basket. The only small complaint is the sound transfer from the dining and main pool area to our room. But guests were compliant with the 10 pm quiet rule. Also a small fridge would make a big difference to guests.
