The rooms are what you expect from a Hampton Inn: comfortable and clean. This particular location needs updating. The area is growing, so there’s now a Chickfla and Starbucks next door, but I miss having the pantry available. After traveling/working all day it’s nice to have a glass of wine.

Great property, and the staff even let me borrow their charger overnight. My only negative was the water draining across the back lot. I’m not usually nitpicky, but I slipped and caught myself. The next person may not be as lucky.

Hotel staff were wonderful, breakfast was good, room was spacious and clean. The only disappointment was that the pool was not in service but to tht credit of the hotel, they offered us to use the pool at a hotel down the street.

The property is not new but was clean and well cared for. The staff was super. Taylor checked us in and was very welcoming. Trisha who was the breakfast coordinator was so helpful and proactive making sure everyone had what they needed.

If everything went wrong from here on out Mrs. Kim at the front desk is worth staying here again. The hotel is an older Hampton Inn, but even still is very clean and well-kept.

Heavily used for construction workers. Carpet & furniture had stains. Room rate $$$ did not meet the expectations. This is the second time I’ve stayed there.

The staff was very friendly. However, the carpet had stains and smell like urine in the first room. We had to be relocated around 3 am due to my husband being bit by a bedbug on the second night. Staff was very helpful, but no refund and/or discount was offered. We stayed the last night only because of its convenience, but will not stay there again.

The hotel was easy to find and all the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The only thing we noticed was the pink mold in the bathroom shower - on floors, tile and faucet. The offered breakfast was the most expansive in choices we have seen in our travels.

I was very disappointed and frustrated with my recent stay at this Hampton Inn. I have stayed here several times and this was the first time that I encountered bed bugs. The staff was very accommodating and moved me to another room immediately, but this just puts this location in a very bad light for me. Additionally, although the staff quickly moved me to another room, there was no other compensation offered for the inconvenience. Very disappointing stay.

My stay was great; the bed was comfortable and the room was very nice and quiet. My only complaint was the cigarette smell in the hallway occasionally and the smell of Marijuana coming from the adjoining room my second day. I dont smoke and i have a lung disease so i am very sensitive to strong smells.

The room was supposed to be handicapped accessible, however there was one bar on the back wall of the shower, none around the toilet, no seat for the tub. Very poorly made for a handicap person. Also there was a stack of used paper cups on the floor of one counter. The staff was very nice and polite.

Not really the an issue with the property, someone has a car alarm that went off about 10 times throughout the night and woke me up each time. I'm sure i was not the only guest that had that problem.

Everyone was nice except for a night shift desk associate named Chelsea. she called the room and told my wife “if we get 1 more noise complaint i will have to kick you all out if your room” my wife was the only one in the room and was sleeping. and there was no investigation before she threatened action against us and the verbiage was unacceptable

Absolutely incredible stay at Hampton Inn Thomson! I accidentally booked under my name instead of my wife's (Hilton Honors member), but check-in was smoothest I’ve ever experienced. As I walked in, the front desk clerk met me halfway, greeted me BY NAME before I even got to the counter, and had everything ready. The room was spotless, cool, and the beds and pillows were heavenly. While the photos online showed a jetted tub and this room didn’t have one, the comfort made up for it completely. When we brought our sleeping toddler inside, the same staff member met us at the door again and offered to help with bags—without hesitation. That kindness stood out. Breakfast was top-notch. We saw staff go above and beyond helping an elderly guest who’d recently been hospitalized. They made her plate, got her drinks, and sent food with her—true hospitality. At checkout, the staff was still amazing—handling things quickly while engaging kindly with guests. This hotel is now our halfway stop when visiting family—and we’ll absolutely be back (with friends next time)!

The staff were friendly and professional, and provided that good old southern hospitality the south us known for. This will now be my hotel of choice when I come to visit family in the area. You have more options in Augusta, but I prefer to stay in this area as it’s more convenient.

Would stay again! Ladies at front desk on arrival very welcoming, polite. Clean from the front door to the room. Room/bathroom clean, well kept. Morning gentlemen polite. "To go bag" for breakfast at front desk. I left at 530am, breakfast starts at 6am. Dairy Queen right next door!

Good place to stop when in transit. Staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the management uses a lot of one use only plastic and some of it unnecessary. I needed a spoon and could only have one if I had a fork, knife, salt, pepper and napkin too. What a waste?
