The River Inn

One entrance to the parking lot was a gigantic pothole. The stairs were unsafe. The room was dirty. The chair was covered with dirt and dust. We had to cover it with a towel before we could sit on it. The table rocked back and forth if we leaned against or placed something on it. There were cobwebs on the ceiling. The linen was stained. We had to clean the ice bucket prior to using it then we had to throw away the ice because it had a dead bug in it. No one works at the desk till 3 pm if you have a question. But the lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful.

Check in was fast and easy. Heather was fantastic! There was trouble with the t.v. but Heather fixed it immediately. Excellent close proximity to Sequoia National Park! Not fancy but a fun place to stay!👏

Pleasant stay.

Parking was good, room was clean and air was comfortable even though the temps were unseasonably warm. My only complaint was that I requested a ground floor room due to a disability,but I was given a room with "just 5 little steps". After 5 hr drive, 5 little steps also included 4 other steps from the parking lot first. Difficult and painful but I had no choice and my reservation was very last minute so that was my own fault.
