Great hotel! We were welcomed with a lovely glass of Prosecco. The hotel was really modern. It had what looked to be a great restaurant attached to it but it was fully booked so didn’t get to try! The room had everything it needed. I loved the area, had great vibe to it feel like a local area but still only 4 mins to central by the metro. I also loved the little gift they provided on departure. Great touch!

I booked through Expedia, while I am a titanium member for bonvoy-Marriott, so when I find out they were a bonboy member, I asked to be my number to be register, in order to get my benefits, they said because I booked through Expedia, they can not do that, so I had not benefits with a chain of hotels that am very loyal The rooms were extremely small, the reception employees were extremely slow, and not helpful at all Reception space for clients is very small Gym was terrible, and outside from the hotel Not staying there again

We had an amazing stay at Sir Albert. We were returning guests (having first stayed a few years ago) - and the staff were as friendly as ever and so generous. We were also celebrating our recent engagement and they made our trip extra special with a lovely card and celebratory drinks. Would highly recommend as it’s a lovely modern but cosy hotel, in a great area (a short walk into the centre of town), and with a well kitted gym just a few doors down.

Front desk very helpful. Got me a housecall from a GP when i was ill. Extra charges such as laundry or room service are very high. Comfortable room with good bed and non synthetic pillows. Cleaners sometimes forgot to replenish coffee pods and creamer.

One of the nicest hotel stays I have ever experienced. Staff was professional and accommodating, perfect location with dozens of dining options all within a 5 minute walk. Half a block from the metro. The beds were extremely comfortable and the entire facility was very clean. This hotel is highly rated and I would stay here again next time I visit Amsterdam! A+++

Staff was lovely. Room was a bit smaller than expected which made storage of our suitcases a bit tough but it’s a European hotel so par for the course. Location was decent. Not far from Museum Quarter. Easy quick walk to the tram to get to further destinations within city center. Breakfast was great every morning as well.

An der Rezeption wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und durften auch bereits um ca. 11Uhr unser Zimmer beziehen. Dieses erscheint mir im Nachhinein leider eher weniger als Deluxe. Einerseits wegen der Grösse und Lage (1. Stock, 114), andererseits hatten wir abends jeweils einen schrecklichen Küchenduft im Zimmer. Das Bett hat tolle Bettwaren, kuschelig weich und schön schwer. Leider war jedoch die Matratze sehr durchgelegen und man musste sich immer wieder aus der Mitte kämpfen. Was auch gestört hat, war die Badezimmertüre, die man nicht richtig schliessen kann. Dadurch hörte man die immer laufende Lüftung im Bad. Das WiFi war leider nicht 100% zuverlässig bei uns im Zimmer. Ich habe das Hotel wegen der Lage in de Pijp gewählt. Es gibt rundherum tollle Restaurants zum Brunchen, Kaffe trinken und Essen. Allerdings ist man zu Fuss schon mal 20-30 MInuten in die Innenstadt unterwegs.

Sehr gute Lage, freundliche Rezeptionisten. Der Gang zum Zimmer ist sehr dunkel, die Glaswände bei der Dusche und bei der Toilette sind schwarz. Die Matratzen durchgelegen.

10/10 would stay here again. Amazing reception team, made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The room was spacious and well layed out. Comfortable bed and fabulous shower. Nice little speaker in the room to complete the ambiance. Hairdryer could be upgraded but that would be the only comment.

First of all, the pictures are deceiving. We were supposed to have a city view with the deluxe room and a skylight. The windows in our room faced the alleyway looking into other apartments. If you're booking there for the air conditioning, forget about it! The lobby is cool and air-conditioned but there is no cool air coming out of the vents in the room and it was hot as blazes! In addition, we were overcharged for a breakfast we never had and received additional unknown charges after checking out! Also, the staff at Izakaya are homophobic/transphobic as they asked my 24 year old to leave the restaurant under the pretense they were not conforming to the "dress code" as they had "sportswear" on while other guests were in jeans and shorts!!!

Great experience as a female solo traveller. Staff were all incredibly friendly. Price was it’s just out of central Amsterdam so much more affordable, yet close enough that you just walk a block to the metro and head wherever you want. Was also very easy to get to by transit from the airport. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. I had a basic room and just wish there had been more areas to put things (more hooks for towels and areas to put clothing and cosmetics etc) but it was good enough for what I needed. There were two hooks about the shower but I’d need to be two feet taller to access them lol Tip: I asked for a room at the back away from street noise as recommended by other travelers and it was very quiet that way. However because I was in a room that had an ajoinint door to another room I could hear noise from that room. When I mentioned this to hotel staff they immediately offered to move me so were very responsive. Overall great find and great location for the price point, would return!

A well located hotel in Amsterdam - very close to the metro, lots of restaurants, cafes & bars on your doorstep. The deluxe room although not massive was well laid out. The bathroom is integrated into the room rather than a separate bathroom. Great to have a room equipped with an iron & ironing board rather than having to call down to request one like many other hotels. Staff were very friendly upon arrival with welcome drinks offered, bags stored & an email notification received promptly once the room was ready. An enjoyable stay whilst in Amsterdam.

This hotel is in an historical building, but the interior lobby and rooms are modern, optimistic, warm and well designed. Sir Albert Hotel is one block away from the Rijks Museum, Van Gogh Museum and local neighbourhood street with many small shops, restaurants and bars, plus an outdoor street fare every day with dozens of street side vendors for food and gifts. The Metro station is just two blocks away. Quite convenient in central Amsterdam for meetings and entertainment.

Hotel aux chambres bien entretenues. Le restaurant etait en travaux et nous n avons pas été prévenus lors de la réservation. Les petits déjeuners étaient de ce fait servi en mode petit hôtel de périphérie dans un minuscule lobby avec des gens qui travaillaient sur leur ordinateur autour…. Plus une bouteille d eau facturée après notre départ prise dans le bar alors qu ils n en mettaient pas à disposition tous les jours… nous n y retournerons pas.

I stayed here for 4 nights. The area is safe as I was traveling solo. There is a Spar and Jumbo store close by, if you need any basic stuff. The staff is very nice and friendly. Hotel restaurant Izakaya is a must-try for some yummy food. Walking distance to the city center and other spots. No complaints, highly recommend this place.
