I liked the location of this facility better than the downtown options. Parking was available and free, and the area felt very safe. The staff was INCREDIBLY friendly - every single one, especially the gentleman with a nose ring and the lady at the breakfast offerings.

The room was beautiful! Parking is limited if you have a late check in. If you get a room facing the interstate you will definitely need the ear plugs provided on the night stand! I didn’t see them until the next morning so there was no sleep for me!

This is the cleanest and best kept hotel i have stayed in. You can just tell from walking in the lobby and first walking in the room. It smelled clean and well kept. Im not sure how recently any renovations have been done but it was a very very pleasant stay and i stay in hotels frequently traveling on business

Somehow We were booked into a handicapped room. The grab bars mounts in the tub were encrusted with mold. A little bleach spray with each cleaning would prevent this. Otherwise out staywas lovely

Absolutely Disgusting – Bed Bugs Found Immediately I walked into the room & within a minute found bed bugs. I didn’t even unpack I left immediately. This was completely unacceptable. I reported it right away, Yet here I am, still waiting on a refund. I did not stay at this hotel, & I had to make last minute arrangements elsewhere. I expected better handling of such a serious issue. This experience was beyond disappointing, & I would never recommend this property to anyone.

The Hampton Inn in Ocala was great! My only complaint was that the traffic noise from I -75. When they had complimentary ear plugs I should have known it was going to be loud and it was. Maybe they can put some kind of sound proofing on the windows?? I hate to leave negative comments especially when everything else was perfect,but I hardly could sleep even with the TV on to block out some of the traffic noise. Sorry Hampton, but I don't see myself staying at this location again.

It was not the best. Just ok. I could not sleep because of the highway cars going by. At first it sounded like an airplane was flying over the building then another and another. Until I figured out it was the high way, didn’t sleep at all.

Was within walking distance of both Cracker Barrell and Burger King, which was nice. Some front desk staff went above and beyond to be helpful when I was unable to access the Wi-Fi and also needed directions. Was not able to access the Wi-Fi even after getting assistance from the manager as I have great security on my laptop and could not access "open" Wi-Fi". They really tried to help. I liked the lay-out of the room having the king bed facing the window, but this also created one of my "dislikes". Because the AC vent position was not adjustable, when air was blowing, it hit me right in the face when I was in bed (not good). Another negative was I asked the evening front desk person that checked me in to put me in a king room that was close to an end of a hall or at least in a quiet area as I needed rest after a recent surgery. He explained suites were at the end of the halls so he couldn't put me there, but he would put me on the quiet side. I was put on the second floor, 4 doors down from the elevator with a loud person above me and people on all sides. If that was a "quiet" area, I would hate to be in a loud area. Had to sleep in ear plugs at night (which I have to do in my apartment at home every night) needless to say, that part of my stay was not very enjoyable. Also, the toilet was very low (a toddler level toilet, I call it), rather than the adult height, which makes it more difficult for us older people. Grab bar would have been nice, though handicapped not needed.

I would have liked fresh, not canned, fruit mix with the breakfast. Also some yogurt (not with artificial sweetener). Other than the noise from I 75 (thanks for the ear plugs!), a very nice stay, good staff, professional and courteous.

The rooms were clean and well maintained. Great shower pressure and bathroom supplies. While the property and front desk staff were great. The employee working the breakfast was terrible. I personally did not have an interaction with her but watched and listened to her be rude to other guests. Breakfast was available until 10 and at 9 she was telling people she’s not filling anything to make due with what was left. There where a lot of families with little kids that weren’t going to eat oatmeal and sausage patties. How hard is it to make more waffles batter. Even the bread was gone.

It was right off of I75. Very convenient. Very close to dining, in fact we walked across the parking lot and got Cracker Barrel. Staff was pleasant and informative. Free 24 hour coffee in the lobby and free breakfast is nice. The room was clean and the front desk provided a guarantee that you will find everything you need or to call immediately. I highly recommend this hotel.

Tough to really be a 5. But 4 seemed low. Hotel in very good shape. Up to date room and public space. We recently stayed in a tired Hampton Inn in WV undergoing a facelift so Ocala was breath of fresh air. Right off I-75 and close to lot of food options.

The hotel was convenient on/off to I-75. The only downside was too convenient. My room 231 faced I-75 and the road noise was considerable and all night long. Maybe a room on the other side of the hotel might have been more quiet.
