The hotel was overbooked for double queens so my family of 5 squeezed into a king bed and sofa bed. The floor was sticky and dirty. The staff was very apologetic but I wouldn't have been able to fit my kids if they were a little older. I booked this hotel days ago because of the indoor pool which was closed. I don't think we'll be staying here again.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. One of the two elevators was out of service, which caused inconvenience during my stay. The back access door did not lock, raising serious security concerns. The room was not thoroughly cleaned; the floors appeared dirty, and there was a persistent wet/mildew smell throughout. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was leaking water onto the floor, creating a potential hazard. The restroom door did not close properly and would hit the toilet, affecting both privacy and comfort. Only one of the three ice machines was working, and only one of the two Tesla chargers was functional. The breakfast was repetitive, served the same every day, which became quite monotonous. To make matters worse, I saw a roach walking on the breakfast table, which was extremely unappetizing and raised concerns about sanitation. Overall, my stay was far from satisfactory, and I hope the management works to address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.

Room floor had a huge ball of hair that looked like it was pulled out of the drain and left in center of room. All ice machines were broken. I used weight room, water fountain not working in weight room, after my workout I went outside to patio by pool to cool off. I tried to get back inside and the keycode pass (where you slide your card) was not working. I was locked outside on the patio with no way to get back into the building and no one to call for help. I had to use a chair and climb over the fence to get out of patio enclosure. There was not a sign on the inside door stating key not working or you will be locked out if you exit to patio.

Only one elevator worked, the other one had no A/C, all ice machines on all floors were broken/no ice. The mini swimming pool was filthy, no hot water to bath until the morning and water ran towards floor and toilet. Breakfast was poor due to stoves needing attention.

Amenities- - it would off been nice after a long day of sightseeing to come to my room to relax to a movie on one of my apps. TV wasn’t a Smart TV.. also be careful they seemed to have problems with the elevators. Found out after I got stuck in one .. so freaking scary.: would I stay there again, probably no.. but that’s just me

Pros: There was a nice filtered water dispenser in the lobby. The AC was good and cold. The beds were comfy. Reception desk was attentive to needs of guest. Continental breakfast was good consisting of scrambled eggs, hashed browns, and varying meats - one day was spicy beef chili meat, the next day was sausage links. They ran out of tortillas. Bread kept getting stuck in the back of the conveyor style toaster oven. The kitchen staff was attentive to needs of guests also. Cons: There was only one of two elevators working. On Saturday morning I saw a long line of 10 or more people waiting to up the elevator as I went down to check out. The ice machine was broken on the third floor. We had to go to the 2nd floor to get ice. The pool was dirty and the pool water was cloudy so we did not use the pool. There were no pool towels in the pool area. There were no towels in the exercise area. There are signs of age and usage in the hotel. There was dust in the RJ45 jack in the wall. The springs on my door was not strong enough to shut the door completely- I had to pull on the handle to have the door fully locked. Location of the hotel made it difficult to enter as you got off the exit ramp. You would have to either u-turn and come back to the driveway to the hotel or go through the back way and cut through the movie theater parking lot. Hopefully they finish construction and make an exit ramp that allows easier access to the entrance drive.

I stay at the Hyatt place at least twice a week in different cities and states around the US. I always tell people the Hyatt place is going to be the same no matter where you stay, this is absolutely incorrect this place was dirty, smelled like sewage, the first room that I was assigned smelled like and unkempt nursing home. The second room that I was assigned smell like poop. I had to disinfect the entire room myself and use my own linens. I will never stay at this property again, Don't even get me started on the night staff. I didn’t check in until after 10 PM otherwise I would’ve found somewhere else. The elevators were even dirty!

Dirty floors, encountered a couple of roaches, hair in shower and on toilet, couldn’t use sofa bed because it also had lots of hair and what looked like dust mixed with lint. First night we had a choice of really really hot water or extremely hot water. Lady at the front desk apologized and said none of the issues could be solved that night and there was no other place in hotel that we could shower. We had to go for the really hot shower after our day at the beach. Second day the shower was fixed and we decided to stay since we had set our stuff in that room already. If I could rate staff at the hotel separately I would give them four stars. For the most part they were very friendly and happy to help. The breakfast staff definitely deserves a five food was great and kept at the right temperatures. They were very nice and most importantly the whole area was kept clean at all times no matter how busy they got.

I should have listened to the reviews, but after reviewing other hotels in the area, I chose what I thought would be the lesser of the worse options. Just walking into the hotel, you get a scent of dog. Not overwhelming, but not what you want to walk into. The front desk person was pleasant. When I got to my room, it smelled musty and was pretty humid and not exactly cold, despite the air condition turned down to the 60s. The shower had mold around the bottom tiles and the bathroom door was difficult to close; the bottom of the door scrapped the tile. Very disappointing. I travel monthly for business and generally don’t write reviews, but I was pretty disappointed in this hotel. Certainly wasn’t worth the price.

Front desk was very helpful, house keeping was very nice and helpful when we asked for additional blankets. Lady running the breakfast in the morning was friendly. The negatives roaches in the bathroom and also a few in the dining area. Sheets had stains on them. Won’t be going back.

The bedsheets in our room didn’t appear to be clean. When folding out the sofa bed for our kids to use, there was a dirty footprint on the fitted sheet and the sheets didn’t seem like they were changed. The front desk staff was very helpful bringing us more than enough sheets to replace them with though.

The carpet in the hallway going to the room smelled, there was small black bugs on the a/c and window, some water alomg the baseboard. The employee at the front desk was very nice. The hotel issues has nothing to do with the employee. I had other family members stay there and had the same issues, other guest were also informing the front desk employee know.

The building could use some work. There were dips in the carpet when you walked down the hall way, peeling wall paper and the elevator was super sketchy. The staff was wonderful and the rooms were spacious! Overall, the room was clean and satisfied our need for one night!

Decent room. The bathroom door veneer was ripped across the bottom and the bed skirt area was discolored making it look unkept. Otherwise okay room. Comfy beds and great AC.

The bathroom had no sink inside, it was in the bedroom area, the shower only had bad water pressure, water splashed everywhere so it was slippery and the tile in the shower would move. The bathroom door was stuck and seperating on the bottom from humidity. The cleaning crew didn't refresh the room and throw out trash.

Everything was alright, but there was a terrible smell coming through the air conditioning vents. Not sure if that’s just because of being by the ocean or what but it smelled rotten/moldy. (Mostly in the hallways/by elevators, not in room) the room was clean and comfy, but I was woken up out of a dead sleep by this loud of ticking/clicking sound near the mini fridge. This was 5 in the morning and I even had a sound machine on and it woke me up. I went and unplugged the fridge, thinking it was the fridge making noise but it persisted and even after putting in my noise canceling AirPods it was still audible and kept me away. I had a huge exam to take and needed my sleep, so this was incredibly frustrating. My room was 229 if anyone wants to check out what was making so much noise inside that wall.

I went and unplugged the fridge, thinking it was the fridge making noise but it persisted and even after putting in my noise canceling AirPods it was still audible and kept me away. I had a huge exam to take and needed my sleep, so this was incredibly frustrating. My room was 229 if anyone wants to check out what was making so much noise inside that wall.

I was disappointed as I thought Hyatt had a good reputation. The room was very roomy and nice, and the bed was comfortable, but there were several issues. The acoustics were terrible -- I could hear loud voices next door right thru the wall behind our bed headboard, and there were heavy footsteps/stomping around above us at 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. Worse yet, the hot water in the sink faucet did not work so well. It took about 5 minutes to get warm. Also, the refrigerator rocked. Worst of all was the temperature -- The A/C just didn't turn up, it was freezing, so we had to shut if off. Breakfast was disappointing -- the "scrambled" eggs were terrible - hard but with a watery taste. The hot water was not hot, and once again, there were no regular/black (unflavored) teabags.

This place is really nice. Breakfast is better than most. There’s something not quite right in the rooms. It just feels like there’s a piece or two of antiquated furniture and shotty workmanship on tiles, wallpaper and tub chalking. Our bathroom door hit the toilet. Like I said, just a little off.

The hotel itself is a 5 star but the customer service is not up there. I booked a room with two queen beds since I was staying with my teenage son and dad. Upon my arrival the front desk clerk informed me that they over booked 12 rooms and that I was lucky to get the last room available. The only room available was a room with one bed. I'm glad I was able to get a room at all but not happy that it was not the room I originally booked. Over booking people is unprofessional and it shows how unorganized they are.

Hotel was clean and in a convenient location! Plenty of free parking and a decent breakfast! Housekeeping was also great! However the front desk needs additional training, it took us over thirty minutes to check-in! Spoke with the General Manager about this and other issues but she justified all of their actions! Great hotel and we stayed here a few times before, we won’t be back until management changes!

THEY ONLY HAVE ONE SINGLE CRIB FOR ALL THE GUESTS... un freaking believable haha they have like +100 rooms yet, one single crib, but they did not tell me this before booking, right? Good, hearty breakfasts. But again, overcrowded at all times during the weekend, not enough place to sit. Thursday everything worked... by Saturday: ice machines were not working, water machine either, only one elevator was up and running. I don't know how you build a +100 room hotel and just have enough personnel and equipment to run it at a 50% occupation. Special thanks to Valeria at the front desk who happily addressed our concerns and to the other guy at the front desk who recommended Whitecap Beach, had a blast, will never come back on a weekend but will gladly do if I ever visit Corpus during weekdays

Could be excellent but it was a little bit outdated; the room was at first floor and maybe that’s why it was not quiet enough. Tasty breakfast, really friendly and helpful staff, excellent location and fully functional EV charging station.

Great hotel stay near the highway..resturents and shopping centers near by..all the major attraction in corpus christi is near by..our bathroom door was hard to close..room was clean and neat..bed was comfortable..they have a indoor pool..defintelt needs some maintenence and cleaning..otherwise is good. We love our stay! The beds comfy, the breakfast was fast and hearty. The pool was great option for my little ones because they love to swim. I also forgot some toiletries and the hotel staff was kind enough to provide at no extra cost.

Stayed here 2 nights. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was just ok. The bathroom did not have any ventilation at all so every time someone took a shower the bathroom just stayed hot, humid and wet. The breakfast was definitely not that great and limited, the dining area was full of fly’s. Did not make for an enjoyable experience. The overall experience was mid and I don’t think we would book here again. For the money it costs per night, I definitely would have expected more.

Although property looked old, it is well maintained. It's clean and I felt safe throughout my stay. Ladies at the reception were warm and welcoming. Breakfast is the only thing I'm disappointed about. Despite having multiple options to choose, none were appealing. Mango juice was bitter, oat milk spoiled and found fungi on blackberries.

Room was clean, bathroom tile was broken and needed to be covered to ensure no one cut their foot. Breakfast every morning was delicious and the staff was very accommodating. Minimal seating made it difficult to eat in eating area.

This has been one of my favorite stays this year! The staff was always so friendly each time we walked in or out. The room was perfectly chilled upon arrival; there is nothing worse than walking into a warm, stuffy room! If i had to pick one thing i didnt care for, it would be the eggs at breakfast. I know it is free, but they could be a little better in quality.

Front desk was very helpful, house keeping was very nice and helpful when we asked for additional blankets. Lady running the breakfast in the morning was friendly. The negatives roaches in the bathroom and also a few in the dining area. Sheets had stains on them. Won’t be going back.

The room itself was good, clean and had plenty of room for luggage without feeling cramped. However, the rest of the hotel amenities were lacking. The pool area was not cleaned daily and soda cans, crumbs and old towels laid out for both days throughout our stay. They ran out of pool towels and claimed they were all in the wash and were unable to provide any other towels, but didn’t want us to take them from our room. The breakfast area was small, not enough seating for all guests and ran out of several breakfast items. The entire time we were at breakfast those items were not refilled.

Pros: There was a nice filtered water dispenser in the lobby. The AC was good and cold. The beds were comfy. Reception desk was attentive to needs of guest. Continental breakfast was good consisting of scrambled eggs, hashed browns, and varying meats - one day was spicy beef chili meat, the next day was sausage links. They ran out of tortillas. Bread kept getting stuck in the back of the conveyor style toaster oven. The kitchen staff was attentive to needs of guests also. Cons: There was only one of two elevators working. On Saturday morning I saw a long line of 10 or more people waiting to up the elevator as I went down to check out. The ice machine was broken on the third floor. We had to go to the 2nd floor to get ice. The pool was dirty and the pool water was cloudy so we did not use the pool. There were no pool towels in the pool area. There were no towels in the exercise area. There are signs of age and usage in the hotel. There was dust in the RJ45 jack in the wall. The springs on my door was not strong enough to shut the door completely- I had to pull on the handle to have the door fully locked. Location of the hotel made it difficult to enter as you got off the exit ramp. You would have to either u-turn and come back to the driveway to the hotel or go through the back way and cut through the movie theater parking lot. Hopefully they finish construction and make an exit ramp that allows easier access to the entrance drive.

It was a very nice hotel with a nice indoor pool. Good breakfast . The only bad thing was the elevator messed up when I was leaving and had to use the stairs to get all my luggage down from the 4th floor:) I was not happy but besides that everything was good.

Ice machines on 3 floors weren't working. The laminate on the room doors is peeling and looks horrible. Bathroom tile was loose and will potentially cause harm if not addressed. The AC in our room would not get cold. All room doors slam when closing which is unnerving.
