Great Tiki bar. Friendly staff. Old facility. 1/4 block from the boardwalk.

The location on Hollywood Boardwalk was fantastic! We only stayed one night out if we need to do a longer stay, great facilities for laundry and in room cooking options. Loved the soaps and shampoos too.

Clean. Very close to beach. Learned you need to have a suite to use pool. We were ocean side with no ocean view

The hotel is good, but the front desk lady is rude and disrespectful. They don’t have parking for everyone. If you don’t deserve it, you don’t have parking, and they don’t care, and they don’t help you to find a solution because that is not their job, and if you ask to speak with the manager, it is another useless person, it he only said I’m sorry. The customer service is abysmal. How are they going to have 44 rooms and 27 parking spots? If you want a relaxing vacation, find a hotel with a good view and good parking because parking is very stressful. If you park in the wrong area, you will get a ticket.

I planned a romantic getaway for my husband's 50th birthday to take him to the Hard Rock in Hollywood Florida. Our original hotel boasted tons of amenities and was directly across the street from the Guitar Hard Rock hotel. When we arrived there all amenities were closed. We cancelled the reservation there, and frustratedly grappled to find a new place to stay. We ended up at Caribbean Resort. They were nice enough to let us check in early and when we got to our room noticed a musty smell. We turned the AC on and went out for the day. When we arrived late at night the smell was much worse. We were exhausted after a 4 hour plus drive so decided to rest a few hours. We both woke up terribly sick, coughing severely and sore throats. I immediately realized it was mold and I am allergic. We ran out of there at 4am to go home. Luckily we booked through Hotels.com who pushed the hotel to refund us the second night we never used. Additionally, the shower was filthy and moldy. Pool is for suite patrons only, so other than the short walk to the beach and tiki bar that has only beer and wine, there's nothing else to do Definitely NOT a resort. We won't be back. I'm still sick a day after we left.

Nice quaint hotel located 1/2 a block from the Broadwalk. Tiki bar to serve drinks and bar bites. Centrally located amongst all the action Of the Broadwalk Easy walking distance to all $20 parking fee :-/

Clean, convenient, and great location. Leaving only 4 stars due to the private pool area that is exclusive to people that purchase Suites is a major let down though.

This property listed a pool but no pool was available.

The place was very clean there was quite few termites wings in the bed it smelt like heavy mildew I couldn’t breathe or get any sleep I toss and turned all night I had a major major headache the a/c wasn’t working properly overall there was hot water . This place was close to everything I needed very convenient and directly on the board walk

Very clean! Had no problems at all, room was comfortable

We did not staying there after we saw the bedbugs. Called an Uber and went to a 4 points by Sheraton. Still waiting for my refund. It was totally gross watching them crawling over the bed.

Hotel is convenient location wise, restaurants and beach are walking distance right in the back. However, furniture and bed seem very old and outdated it was very uncomfortable to sleep on. We also found used condoms on the floor next to the bed and nightstand, property needs to make sure their staff does a thorough cleaning before letting guests check in.

Absolutely disgusting! Mold everywhere. Light fixture in the bathroom, shower stall, blinds all had mild in them. Dust on the fan blades. Bed linens were wet to the touch. Mold was so bad, had to sleep with a mask on. Many other people complained about the same thing that was evident by all the room doors being left openand people sitting outside their rooms. Do NOT stay at this hotel.

Although the room was super clean the only negative thing I can say is that it smelled moldy when we walked in the room.

We liked the location very close to the broadwalk, beach, and restaurants. the room was modern and up to date with bath and kitchen fixtures. the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Some dislikes: three ceiling lights were not working, and 3 of the 4 burners on the gas stove would not light. the Wifi signal was very weak, and the satellite tv had many channels with either poor or no reception. Also, by the third day we had to ask the front desk for towels and soap, as no housecleaning had showed up for two days. the bathroom was never cleaned during our weeklong stay, and the floors were seldom swept. the loud music from the tiki bar next to our room was very annoying as it kept us awake long after our normal bedtime.

This is a unique hotel. It’s older but in a great location. They have a Tiki bar on the property with very reasonable prices. Rooms had functioning kitchenettes. Room rates were very competitive.

The location of this hotel is perfect, very close to the beach and broadwalk. The room was small but practical and clean. Only little downside is the noise : room was not much soundproofed, we could hear the neighbours in the next room if they talked loudly. It did not bother us too much because we did not spend too much time in the room. Administration is kind, they checked us in as soon as the room was ready and let us stay a little longer in the room before check out to accomodate us with the timing of our flights. We would go back again.

Friendly staff, they held our luggage because of early arrival. Got a great room at the pool. Only downside, was the AC in our room was not efficient, and loudly came on every 10-12 minutes for around 2-3 minutes. Did not get a good nights sleep, even though the bed was very comfortable .

Rooms are small especially bathrooms. But clean and convenient to food and shops

Large clean room, hot water was tough to get 2 mornings. Quiet room despite being 20 feet from the Tiki Bar. Tiki bar was not great, the guy made me the worst Mai Tai in my life. The bed was very comfortable!

The 31 inch TV in our room was horrible and you only get 12 channels-no ESPN or any football game. Shower was awesome.

Room was clean TV Needs to be replaced. It is very old Maybe 5 channels you can watch.

Functional hotel. Our check-in process included a 5 hour wait for a room. Wasted a lot of our day. Room wasn't super clean, bed was incredibly noisy frame, tv channels were all snowy from bad connection apparently (true for multiple rooms everyone we traveled with had the same) - didn't matter poor channel selection nothing worth watching, didn't even have ESPN.) They have a tiki bar, the courtyard stinks of grease whenever they make chicken tenders. Close to beach, easy walk. Depending on needs could be a great fit. Wouldn't recommend for folks looking for 1 night before/after cruise. Noisy neighborhood.

Our room was next to the bar with loud music. If you want to know if you would be a candidate for tiny house living stay in their suite lol! The room was so small we couldn’t even walk beside each other and had our bag on the kitchen bar. You have to sit sideways on the toilet the bathroom was so small. If you are a bigger person you are not getting in the shower, smallest door I have ver seen!

The property was trash Customer Service was very Horrible I wouldn’t recommend my dog to stay at this hotel no hot water no towels management was very poor whatever guy they had working there at the time I was there he was very disrespectful rude unprofessional unethical uneducated with no home training several people complained about staying there and left as well …. Please save yourself the hassle and don’t stay at this property it’s trash and not worth it

Our stay was nice. King size bed very comfortable. Wifi was always out and not a lot of channels on TV. Our friends stay at Pousada down the road with great wifi and tv. Front desk lady needs cheering up. Not very friendly. I tried talking to her asking about places to see etc…. It’s all about the connections and being connected to your guests. I would come back. Front desk needs to be more friendly and happy to work there.

Would rather review expedia. The properties all seem to give expedia customers the worst rooms. I will not be using expedia again due to this. Deal directly with property and make your requests. Sorry, wont use expedia ever again. As far as this property, the location is great, management sucked, and workers were very nice. Wont stay again.

We got there after midnight due to a late flight… the hotel gave me the information to pick up our keys from a lock box. We retrieved the keys, but then they didn’t work. I called the emergency number on the door and someone came and let us in finally. The room was small, but worked for just an overnight stay. Bed was comfortable. It was nice being just steps away from the beach. We were able to grab a quick lunch from the hotel bar before leaving.

Great place to disconnect and relax. The service was great. I have stayed around this place and never tried it, I can't way to go back. Their checkout is at 11 am, and they let me stay until late as a complementary as I was flying late. love this place!

We arrived 6 hours before checkin and they were able to check us in early. Claudia, Said and Andy were amazing!! So welcoming, friendly and made us feel like we were at home. We booked another stay in October!!

They don't answer any emergency calls. Card key stopped working at 2 am. And staff wouldn't answer calls or respond in any way after literally 25 calls. Luckily i was able to crawl through window which was never locked. After leaving several messages they still never responded even the next day. Room was gross and questionable sheets we didn't sleep on.

The staff were super polite and always accommodating.

We loved the location, literally steps from the boardwalk. We loved the atmosphere at the hotel of the „old Florida“. Staff was great. The price was fantastic compared to all other properties in the area. The rooms are simple and could have been a little cleaner, but overall it was a wonderful experience

Although dated,property was decently clean,comfortable, close to the ocean and action Too bad theres not a better view. The unfinished building in front of property is an eye sore and closes off their view.

The staff is very kind and helpful, the room was clean but our sheets had old stains on them and the property definitely needs some maintenance (light bulbs, sinks, refrigerator). Although it’s out of the hotel’s control, the area and the crowd are not the safest. A lot of very intoxicated, loud people making noise at all hours of the night.

What a gem! Great little hideaway just off the hollywood boardwalk with a nice tiki hut with refreshments and music. Many many options for food, ice cream, shopping, biking, groceries. Could spend a month here and never have to leave the neighborhood

Rooms were old & outdated. Website misleading - on site restaurant was bar with limited menu & they were out of everything. No pool. Office staff was not friendly or helpful with answering questions.

We have stayed here many times. The tiki bar is great for night life. Walking the boardwalk has lots of dining options and shopping.

Room is small but clean, nice and cozy. Beach and restaurant a step away. Bar could use some updates on drinks. Music at the bar should be more island vibes since name is call Caribbean. The employees were very attentive and polite. I will definitely stay again.

The best part of this property is the Tiki bar, Claudia was excellent. What I did not like was the fact that the pool area had cigarettes around the pool, the floor of the pool was dirty it says no swimming after 8pm, but people were still in at 10.30pm no consideration for others. The A/C was very very noisy and the remote control did not work. They supply an iron with no ironing board I asked for one and they did not have any. It does not have an ocean view.
