Had a 2 night stay 9-11 May All in very happy with everything The only one issue was ,I feel maybe when we booked the room ,which we did well in advance ,it should have been made clear our room was up 2 flights of stairs ,and no access to a lift. My husband was just recovering from surgery ,after having 2 knee replacements and struggled with the stairs Maybe with future bookings not only from us , but to anyone who books in the furure this should be made clear Thankyou Mrs Helen Wood

Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely room and a fabulous breakfast. Will definitely stay again. Only downside is the stairs as there's no lift but thats minor.

The staff were most helpful and accommodating including in the bar in the evening and for breakfast in the morning. The property was well positioned for my purpose. Unfortunately there is limited free parking available at the hotel and when I arrived there were no spaces in the hotel car park. There is street parking and a pay to park area close by.

Great location on the seafront. Personal check-in, actually shown to your room. Room was spotless and had everything you need for a night or two away. Plenty of parking in the near vicinity. Great choice for breakfast, everything prepared fresh and cooked to order. No lift at the hotel though, something to be aware of if you struggle with stairs as there are lots of them. Not a problem for us and we will definitely stay here again in we are in the area.

Great room nice and clean, food was excellent (we had Sunday Roast and full breakfast) staff were all very friendly and helpful. We managed to get a parking space through the hotel at a small charge - than you 🙂

Lovely refurbishment, paid extra to have a suite with sea view however possibly the worse decision as there is live music on each Saturday so we were told when checking in “you might here some music”… returning to the room around 10pm for drinks and enjoying the suite was ruined, as was any chance of sleep until gone midnight - the live band could have been at the end of the bed and it couldn’t have been louder! Ruined what could have been a new regular stay as the rest was spot on and had already been planning bringing other guests for a return trip!

Great location, right on the seafront. We were on the top floor, quite a few flights of stairs though! Music/DJ went on quite late, could hear it but it didnt really disturb us. Had drinks there but not food, so cant comment but it looked good. Good value for money.

The property is very clean, recently refurbished and room nicely decorated, basic clean and comfortable. Location in centre of Morecambe so walked both ends of promenade. Staff friendly and attentive. We ate at the local pub which we regretted having seen the food here.

Freshly decorated and clean but only 1 bath towel and a floor mat in the room. Hand soap was empty, the stuffing had left the pillows and the room was cold. Turned the heating on, folded the pillows in half and shared a towel

My wife and I had a one night stay here which was excellent. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The views of the promenade and sea were wonderful. As mentioned in many reviews, the breakfast was amazing as were the staff. We would highly recommend.

Stayed for one night,our room was an exeutive room,but dont know why its classed as that,as the view was amazing,but nothing in the room as extra,ni bottled water,no mini bar etc,the bed was really low,and no bed sheets on the matress,just a thing sheet and a duvet,birds feathers and crumbs on the floor,i guess a quick hoover would have removed those,breakfast took over 40 mins,as a charity bike ride crew were befire us,the fried eggs were hard,no yolk,overall not fantastic,and room for improvement.

The room was amazing and breakfast, but the noise was hard to sleep due nightclub coming through the windows which were shut and evrryone shiuting outside. Got no sleep until 12.30pm. Would recommend for those having a night out but not if having an early morning.

My wife and I had a one night stay here which was excellent. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The views of the promenade and sea were wonderful. As mentioned in many reviews, the breakfast was amazing as were the staff. We would highly recommend.

Great stay for one night in the half term break. The guy who checked us in was great, saw my struggle with the vast amount of stairs (i have a dodgy knee) he moved us to a first floor room instead of second floor! Room was clean and tidy, seemed to be newly decorated with new furniture! Great view across the sea, and even though it was on the front the noise from traffic wasn't too bad. Just a few things that could do with a little look in to are the curtains, don't hang properly and let light in! The shower is scalding hot and takes a minute to sort it whilst getting roasted! Kettle should be emptied between guests and the most important is have a mattress protector and decent pillows on the bed. Food in the bar below the rooms was great, no issue there at all! For £81 it was great value!

Friendly staff added to the experience of staying here. The Royal is well located on the seafront, small car park available (pay) behind hotel, rooms are clean and recently refurbished, ours had great views over the sea to the Lake District complete with a magnificent sunset. Breakfast was included and choice was good and very substantial. We only stayed 1 night but overall found the hotel very good value for money

We booked an 'executive suite' (which turned out to be nothing more than a standard room) for 2 adults and our 15 year old son. When we checked in, the room was only set up for 2 adults. They gave us a cheap, flimsy, thin camp bed and a mattress which was less than an inch thick. When I went downstairs to see if there was something more suitable, I was told that was what they used for a 3rd bed. After returning later that evening, the loud music started playing. There was nothing on their listing to say they played blaring music until midnight!! After travelling all day, all we wanted was a peaceful nights sleep.Just after midnight, the music stopped. My son hardly slept and the staff's attitude was that they coudn't care less. Next morning at breakfast, the staff were more occupied with their phones and going outside to vape than they were looking after the guests. We watched one old lady wait at the bar for more than 2 minutes while the girl tapped away on her mobile. This truly is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If you want blaring music, you will love it. If you want a nice, quiet, relaxing hotel with great staff, this place is as far from it as you can get.

On arrival, young man behind the bar didn’t actuallly work there he said !!! All the staff were out at a staff party. He didn’t know what time breakfast was, I woke in the morning and found it was 9am, no use to me working!! Paid extra to park, he directed me to what looked like a small car park belonging to residential flats, I was directed to park behind another car. On arrival, young man behind the bar didn’t actuallly work there he said !!! All the staff were out at a staff party. He didn’t know what time breakfast was, I woke in the morning and found it was 9am, no use to me working!! Paid extra to park, he directed me to what looked like a small car park belonging to residential flats, I was directed to park behind another car. We arrived 2 hours early and our room was ready. We had room 1 which overlooks the beach. Everything in room was top quality. We had no problem with the car park.hotel situated right by Ernie statue. The breakfast is the best breakfast we have had in all the hotels we have stayed in. Cannot fault this hotel at all and the staff are so friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location on the seafront. Personal check-in, actually shown to your room. Room was spotless and had everything you need for a night or two away. Plenty of parking in the near vicinity. Great choice for breakfast, everything prepared fresh and cooked to order. No lift at the hotel though, something to be aware of if you struggle with stairs as there are lots of them. Not a problem for us and we will definitely stay here again in we are in the area.

Room was so clean you could feel the smoothness of the carpet on the feet. Lovely sea view and great to see the Eric Morecambe statue. Good location for nearby pubs. Kudos to the great breakfast too, one of the best I’ve had.

Great location, right on the seafront. We were on the top floor, quite a few flights of stairs though! Music/DJ went on quite late, could hear it but it didnt really disturb us. Had drinks there but not food, so cant comment but it looked good. Good value for money.

Staff really helpful, room recently refurbished and very clean. Food excellent. Although music on at night downstairs the doors really muted it to the point we barely noticed it. Very good value for money. Will definitely be back

Great room nice and clean, food was excellent (we had Sunday Roast and full breakfast) staff were all very friendly and helpful. We managed to get a parking space through the hotel at a small charge - than you 🙂

Stayed for one night,our room was an exeutive room,but dont know why its classed as that,as the view was amazing,but nothing in the room as extra,ni bottled water,no mini bar etc,the bed was really low,and no bed sheets on the matress,just a thing sheet and a duvet,birds feathers and crumbs on the floor,i guess a quick hoover would have removed those,breakfast took over 40 mins,as a charity bike ride crew were befire us,the fried eggs were hard,no yolk,overall not fantastic,and room for improvement.

Recently refurbished hotel in an excellent location. Great personal service. Great value for money with nearby parking for only £5. Really enjoyed our one night in Morecambe and I can highly recommend the town and this hotel.
