I had a great stay at Le terrazze. Every night after a busy walking day I came back to a clean room and a stocked kitchen with pastries and coffee. They were also kind enough to accommodate my dietary restrictions providing me with Gluten Free alternatives. Finally every time I had a question they answered me promptly. Thank you so much!!

We have stayed at Le Terrazze di san Giovanni three nights. The arrival was not complicated at all. Its located on a bank at a corner with a big Terrace, the big steal Door opens when u first ring the bell and the operator opens the door with telling you the code for the keys. After taking the stairs, you find the Guest house at the only first floor in the rear. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There is a kitchen which you can use and have coffee. We fell in love with the big Terrazze. At the evenings we sat outside and enjoyed wine. Romano the owner was very outstanding. He was always there to answer all our questions and gave us good advice what to do in the city. He was also very nice to the cleaning lady, which is important to us. We have felt in very good hands. We are surely coming back to stay here again.

Comfortable room in a great location! Staff were communicative and helpful with our questions. Short walk to transit and lots of great restaurants in the area. Powerful A/C was welcome in the hot weather and loved relaxing on the terrace. The luggage storage was very helpful too! Would happily stay again.

One of the rooms had a shower that smelled badly. Not a whole lot of parking out front. Rooms were clean and simple. Nice community kitchen, air conditioner blew cold but turned off during the night. No elevator, only stairs. Owners were very nice and accommodating. They were able to arrange transportation to the airport very early in the morning. Had a nice terrace with seating.

I stayed with my family (4 people), every one loves the place. we had very good experience, felt as if we were visiting a family. The owner and his daughter are very friendly. They were always helpful. Also the owner provided us with a storage to our 2 big bags when we travelled to florence. The Terrace is nice place to realx and eat. For sure I will try to book again when I visit the great Rome.

My stay at this local was superb. I had an excellent reception by the staff. I felt I missed nothing during my stay in Rome. The location was ideal for me . The owner did his best to ensure I was safe and even provided a taxi for me to get to the airport on-time. God bless you all

A great place to stay in Rome, a short walk from the Colosseum, and other transport options (bus, underground, tram) nearby. The room was comfortable with everything we needed. Daily breakfast on the terrace was great. Lovely restaurants nearby too. Would thoroughly recommend and we hope to return.

A lovely cozy place to stay with family. 15 mins to the Colosseum and 18 mins to Termini station. Room was spacious for 3 and very clean. Although it could have some cups and kettle for early morning coffee/tea. There was a small kitchen with basic breakfast like cereals and a coffee machine. Room was cleaned every day and staff was nice. Check in check out was hassle free. In terms of dinning options, you could eat near Colosseum or there is a Pizzeria right next door serving delicious pastas and Pizza. You can keep your luggage and collect it later in the day. Overall a good experience.

What a wonderful place! The staff are incredible, the location is 10/10, and we have everything that we need at the property, even a fully equipped kitchen. They also have a patio that you can have your meals there and a tiny library inside of a fridge. Another great point is that they add notes all around the house with useful information. I can not wait to return to Rome and I will definitely stay at the same place.

Op wandelafstand van verschillende bezienswaardigheden, ook dicht bij de Metro. Aankomst was nogal gebrekkig Engels en kregen niet echt heel veel informatie vond ik persoonlijk. Wij hadden 2 persoonskamer aan de inkom. Het was niet zo proper, er lag nog redelijk wat vuilte op de grond, volgens mij word er niet gestofzuigd ? Badkamer -> Vooral douche was heel klein en heel vochtig. We hebben constant het raam laten openstaan om wat frisheid binnen te krijgen. Ontbijt is beneden pijl.. Geen boterham of iets vers uit de bakker. Enkel oploskoffie en croissant verpakt in plastiek. Toch wel jammer :)

This was a great location for our three nights in Rome. The staff was friendly and responsive when I reached out. Room was very clean and simple. We stayed in room 6. I am a American woman size 2022. I just fit in the shower door. This is not a complaint. It is a reality of me being a larger person. However, this might be something you as a traveler need to consider. I do not know the situation of the other bathrooms. I would definitely stay there again.

Der Kühlschrank ist leider nicht zu gebrauchen da er drei Tage braucht um kalt zu werden. Die Möbel waren etwas deplaziert. Tisch vor dem Schrank. Man kommt kaum an den Schrank ran. Ansonsten war die Vermieterin sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die große Gemeinschaftsterrasse läd zum Frühstücken ein. Und sauber war es. Es wurde jeden Tag nach Handtuchwechsel gefragt. Sehr freundlich alles.

The staff at Le terrazze di San Giovanni were excellent, they provided great recommendations, made self check-in easy, and were overall very friendly and helpful on our trip. The neighbourhood is quieter than the areas of Rome we visited which was a nice relief. The restaurants in the area were great and felt authentic. We stayed in the rooms for 4 people and found them to be a decent amount of space for us. The Air conditioning worked well. The property is a bit older and the bathrooms are small, but don’t let that stop you from picking this place for a quiet place to rest. The terrace was nice for peaceful breakfasts and drinks at the end of the evening.

Absolutely lovely people and we would stay again. They had helpful recommendations, were extremely friendly, etc. The place was quiet, air conditioning was good, and the breakfast vouchers were for a little bar down the street that made us a great coffee and had good croissants. If I have any complaint at all it's that the shower was too small and a little difficult for us to move in.

Hotel has great location walking distance from many attractions and Shopping. However, check-in was quite confusing there. Isn’t someone at the reception at all times so you must call to enter however, being from Canada we did not have a valid number to call. Also, the breakfast situation was quite confusing. The breakfast consist of packaged pastries, such as a muffins and croissants. We stayed six days and did not get a change of towels or linen. Our snack bag was also thrown out and it was not anywhere near a garbage can. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly.
Hotel has great location walking distance from many attractions and Shopping. However, check-in was quite confusing there. Isn’t someone at the reception at all times so you must call to enter however, being from Canada we did not have a valid number to call. Also, the breakfast situation was quite confusing. The breakfast consist of packaged pastries, such as a muffins and croissants. We stayed six days and did not get a change of towels or linen. Our snack bag was also thrown out and it was not anywhere near a garbage can. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly.

A localização era muito boa. Permitiu fazer os passeios a pé para o Coliseu e arredores. Para o vaticano pegamos o metrô. Estação manzoni bem perto. O Romano nos atendeu. Foi muito simpático conosco. Permitiu que fizessemos o Chek in early, o que possibilitou a nossa visita ao Coliseu no único horário que tínhamos conseguido reserva. Foi tudo muito bom!

Location is good for the Colosseum and there is a metro station at the end of the road so travelling around Rome to visit all the sights is easy. A number of good restaurants in the area, we particularly liked Marco G Trattoria just around the corner. The room was a good size, large bed and bathroom. Our only comment would be that it would have been very useful to have an information sheet inside the room explaining the arrangements for breakfast, use of the kitchen and check out procedures to ensure guests are able to make use of the facilities available. We arrived on a Friday evening and didn’t see a member of staff until Sunday morning. We used the vouchers for breakfast in a bar across the street and you get a nice fresh croissant and a cup of coffee.

I had a great stay at Le terrazze. Every night after a busy walking day I came back to a clean room and a stocked kitchen with pastries and coffee. They were also kind enough to accommodate my dietary restrictions providing me with Gluten Free alternatives. Finally every time I had a question they answered me promptly. Thank you so much!!

The staff at Le terrazze di San Giovanni were excellent, they provided great recommendations, made self check-in easy, and were overall very friendly and helpful on our trip. The neighbourhood is quieter than the areas of Rome we visited which was a nice relief. The restaurants in the area were great and felt authentic. We stayed in the rooms for 4 people and found them to be a decent amount of space for us. The Air conditioning worked well. The property is a bit older and the bathrooms are small, but don’t let that stop you from picking this place for a quiet place to rest. The terrace was nice for peaceful breakfasts and drinks at the end of the evening.

The location was very good. An easy. 20 minute walk to the Coliseum, but even easier. 4-minute walk into the Metro station which took us anywhere we wanted to go in Rome. The fact the fact that there was no parking available also proved to be no problem at all. This apartment is in a more residential area and street parking was readily available at only $8 a day. We found a spot about three blocks from the apartment, put in 16 Euro, and left the car there for 48 hours.

Comfortable room in a great location! Staff were communicative and helpful with our questions. Short walk to transit and lots of great restaurants in the area. Powerful A/C was welcome in the hot weather and loved relaxing on the terrace. The luggage storage was very helpful too! Would happily stay again.

Such a friendly place! We stayed 2 nights with our 13yo daughter. It’s like both staying in very small hotel and at friend’s place. The owner is very welcoming. You can catch metro and buses to go anywhere in Rome a few blocks away. It’s on the outskirt of the city center but still well located.

Op wandelafstand van verschillende bezienswaardigheden, ook dicht bij de Metro. Aankomst was nogal gebrekkig Engels en kregen niet echt heel veel informatie vond ik persoonlijk. Wij hadden 2 persoonskamer aan de inkom. Het was niet zo proper, er lag nog redelijk wat vuilte op de grond, volgens mij word er niet gestofzuigd ? Badkamer -> Vooral douche was heel klein en heel vochtig. We hebben constant het raam laten openstaan om wat frisheid binnen te krijgen. Ontbijt is beneden pijl.. Geen boterham of iets vers uit de bakker. Enkel oploskoffie en croissant verpakt in plastiek. Toch wel jammer :)

Dass man zum Frühstück entweder einen halben Kilometer gehen muss oder ein extrem begenztes Ebensolches in der Unterkunft in der "Küche" oder auf der ( lauten) Terrasse einnehmen muss geht gar nicht. Mit Hotel hatte das gar nichts zu tun. Ich würde nie wieder dort und schon gar nicht über Expedia buchen.Wie wohl man sagen muss, dass das Personal (Inhaber? Besitzer?) sehr freundlich und bemüht waren. Das Zimmer war klein, aber alles sauber und in Ordnung. Natürlich mitten in Rom zu laut in der Nacht. Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen. Preis Leistung schlecht.

Les hôtes sont très aimables. Hébergement très propre. L'accueil de nuit est bien sécurisé au niveau de la boîte à clefs. Nous avons eu l'impression d'arriver chez nous. L'hôtel est proche du Colisée ainsi que du métro. Petit bémol, le petit déjeuner avec des viennoiseries sous emballages cellophane n'est pas ce à quoi nous nous attendions ; il y avait la possibilité de le prendre dans un café très proche (un café + 1 viennoiserie) mais avec une ado qui ne boit pas de café... Mis à part ce détail, je recommande cet hébergement sans hésitation.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff was very responsive and helpful. We were able to store our luggage for a few hours on last day which was a life saver! Location was key. Very close to the Metro and easy to get around. Thank you for a great stay 👍

Good location, useful terrace, but it can be made to look better. Broken sun lounges and an untidy look does not help. If you are not fussed about this, it's an amazing place to have as a home base. Apart from how run down it looks, it smells nice, looks clean enough and the beds are comfy. Shower has strong pressure and hot water was never an issue. If you are not a clean freak and you value the convenience of being close to the city center and to sleep in a comfy bed after a long walk in an air-conditioned room, it's amazing. If you like to see spotless surfaces, daily house cleaning, towel changes and a well maintained location, this might not be for you. We have enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely consider coming here again despite the shortcomings, for us, they are not deal breakers. Great spot in walking distance to colosseum and many other attractions in Rome! Owner was responsive mainly via WhatsApp on check in day and after. Be sure to pay city taxes asap for smooth arrival and check in process. Terrace was a beautiful spot for a coffee in the morning before exploring the city and not in a loud environment.
