The property is very clean and modern. We enjoyed the restaurant, Siena. Food was delicious and the drinks were awesome! The staff in both the hotel and the restaurant were fantastic! The rooftop terrace was our favorite place to hang out. The location was perfect as well. Walkable to many stores and restaurants and a 15 minute drive to a beautiful beach and park. We will return in the future.

Fabulous renovation. Our favorite hotel in the area. Never knew about the underground garage. That made it immensely convenient. Poison Ivy growing on the waterfront and up the trees. This needs to be controlled.

The property is beautiful, and the staff were very pleasant. The cocktails and food at the restaurant, Siena, were great. We were disappointed that there was no rooftop bar. This amenity listed on the website was misleading; however, it is a beautiful space.

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. We had a getaway without the children and it was a relaxing atmosphere; except for at night time the walls and floors were thin and heard the upstairs guests walking around. Guests walking in the hallway and doors slamming from other rooms. We didn’t eat at the restaurant at the hotel but it seemed to be busy every night. The breakfast in the morning included oatmeal and coffee/tea. The gym was small and machine needed to be updated. There was plenty of onsite parking and many restaurants in the area.

Nice property - it was under construction on the third floor, (which wasn't noted when I booked). However, they did offer to change rooms to the 2nd floor if I wanted as the hotel wasn't too booked (which made question why they put us on the floor that's under construction to begin with) but alas - she also promised it wouldn't be too much noise ... and it wasn't - PS: the construction started at 9am on the weekend - which is plenty of time for us to get up and ready for the day. The gym is cute but very small - the lobby was very nice and the bar/restaurant area also seemed nice - there always seemed to be an event booked however, whenever we tried to visit on the weekend. There was no creamer in the room for coffee so that was frustrating and the train next to the hotel was a surprise - but it didn't distract too much to be honest. - only heard it a few times. There is the Hudson River next to the hotel (between the hotel and the train tracks) and it's nice to look at the river - which is very slight at this point of the river - but still very pretty. This hotel has potential and perhaps, when the renovations are complete, they will be there. Good luck!

Striking design - very pleasant environment, especially the lobby and breakfast area which overlook a peaceful stream. Rooftop deck is amazing. We’d go out of our way to stay here if we return to CT.

The design of this hotel is beautiful, and despite being on the main road it was quiet inside the property. The windows in the breakfast room on the river side are in need of cleaning (lots of algae growing) and there were no dairy-free options at breakfast. The trash bin at breakfast was overflowing and right in the middle of the room which was strange. I didn’t mind hearing the train from our room and slept really well. I did notice the bathroom counter was dusty (maybe from the vents? I’m sure the cleaners wouldn’t leave it like that) but it felt clean otherwise. There was only one person at the desk when we checked in, she was on the phone talking about room pricing to a potential customer, and we had to wait in a line for a while until we were able to check in. I think paying customers should take precedence.

Very clean hotel in Norwalk. Was impressed with their Zen makeup of the lobby and hallway. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Definitely made my stay perfect and would go back when I’m in the area.

It was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Housekeeping should be commended!!!! The hotel is very clean and updated. Very comfortable beds and calm relaxing decor. If noise bothers you, you may want to ask for a less populated floor. While you can hear people go in and out it was not a big deal for us. Additionally a train goes by… again… did not bother us at all but if you are a light sleeper pack earplugs. The lobby is gorgeous and gives you a nice space to relax out of your room if you want to. There’s a tv tables and comfy couches and space to work if you need to. We were bummed the restaurant wasn’t open but it was snowing and I’m sure not busy enough to stay open. We booked already for October when we will be in town again. I plan on calling because the price for October is nearly triple what we paid. I’m hoping it is a mistake.

Overall hotel is new and has nicely designed rooms. The experience was not good though, was moved out of my room into another after a water leak below. The next room smelled bad and had hair in the bathroom. Was moved again and the room had water on the floor.

Hotel was fine for a one-night stopover on a road trip. Area isn’t particularly interesting and the hotel is located right next to a railroad track. Property desperately needs a hallway renovation—carpet on our floor was dirty/stained and ripped. Room was clean and well equipped. Bed was comfy.

Having stayed in hotels all over the world, this hotels ranks at the top for cleanliness, amazing staff, peaceful oasis on the inside, aesthetically pleasing lobby, rooms, and rooftop deck, and ability to meet the needs of their guests. It is more than apparent that the staff and the designer listens to their guests needs and wants. It is a beautiful environment. The rooms are calming and meticulously clean. The amenities are luxurious. I cannot wait to find a reason to return.

Amazing hotel. Big and spacious room very nicely decorated and clean! Feels fresh and it was almost a perfect stay if it weren’t for the train blares starting at around 6:30-7am. Hotel sits right next to train tracks and back rooms’ windows face the train tracks directly which are probably 20 feet away from the window. So it gets pretty loud when trains go by. I personally enjoy the sounds of trains and I would definitely come back.

Check in staff was excellent. She was so nice and professional. My room was 2 doors from the ice machine which is exposed to the hallway. Extremely noisy. Woke me up in the middle of night, making ice .

Walls were so thin! The person above me... clump, climp, clump. Trains all hours! The hotel has an 11pm quite policy, at midnight to 1.30am... rowdy guests up and down the hallway, maybe from the engagement party on the rooftop. Granted i did not call down to reception, but truly i should've have to, its such a small hotel, theres no way anyone on duty wouldn't and should automatically ask the guest to quietly go to their rooms! My daughter lives in Fairfield CT, i brought my son and his fiancé to town to visit. I have to be honest. Ill choose a different location next visit.

The hotel is very nice and beds are comfortable. The only thing I disliked was how noisy it is. The doors in the hallway slam close so loud you can hear it in your sleep. There was a wedding party while I was there and they were very loud in the hallway late into the night...so I didn’t get a good night sleep at all. I would say the rooms are not sound proof at all. There was also a train that passed every hour outside my window but that didn’t bother me as much. Other than the noise the rooms and amenities are beautiful and everything is esthetic and very clean!

The breakfast was not well stocked. No milk for the cereal was visible. One of the coffees was out. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The hotel was very attractive. A train runs right behind the hotel but I didn't find it bad. It was a commuter rail not freight.

The hotel seemed under-staffed. The desk clerk was busy on the phone while guests were waiting to check in or check out. Our room did not have a hair dryer, so we called down to the front desk and it rang and rang. Finally I went down to the front desk and waited for the one desk clerk to get off the phone. When she did, she said the room should have a hair dryer, but I said we had looked everywhere. She said she would get one up to us when she had a break. My wife ended up knocking on the room next door (whom we did not know) and asking to borrow their hair dryer. A housekeeping person did eventually come with the hair dryer after stopping in first to check the drawers himself before leaving to go get the hair dryer.

Amazing customer service, wonderful and pleasant and communicative. Ari and Caitlin went above and beyond for me as the manager. The staff makes the company run very smoothly. Lovely stay ! Absolutely would recommend this place !!!! Plus they are kind and thoughtful when it comes to a late checkout.

The hotel was lovely and the staff was wonderful. The decor in the lobby, on the rooftop deck and in the rooms is great. However, advertising as a riverfront hotel is somewhat deceptive as you can barely see the river and most of it is dried up :( This is a city hotel, but a lovely one.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It all looked new and trendy, the staff was welcoming. We loved the bathroom and the detail of the finishes in the spacious room. The roof top is cute and the gym has the essential. Location is very convenient not far from main roads.

Absolutely loved the modern decor. The hotel feels fresh and new, very comfortable and very, very attractive. Hats-off to the interior designer(s). The front desk staff is very helpful and the cleaning staff are cheerful. We also applaud the attempt to be ecologically sound. We had an amazing dinner at the Italian restaurant on grounds. Highly recommended for foodies.

Very nice hotel in a busy area. The complimentary breakfast needs a lot of work. It was Holiday Inn style, not much there. That was disappointing. Also had to ask several employees where the hair dryer was until someone was able to tell me. It's very hidden, should be in a more obvious place. Otherwise very nice hotel.

Hotel was great. Restaurant on premises is especially good. Hotel includes breakfast with your stay, which was a real disappointment. They should either not offer it, or elevate it because right now it’s not befitting a hotel of this stature.
