Easy to get to off the highway. Charming small village atmosphere in the neighborhood. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Very generous, spacious room with kitchen and sitting area. Bed was very comfortable. A full bar in the lobby with a gas fireplace, was a great place to sit and have a drink upon arrival before deciding where to go out for dinner.

Great weekend getaway from NYC! Love that you can take MetroNorth and walk to this hotel which has large efficiency rooms! Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Facility was very clean. Free breakfast had a lot of choices (not just bagged muffins, LOL). The rooftop bar is really fun and has a great view. SoNo has a lot of restaurants, great breweries, and a nice beach nearby!

We're repeat guests and my only complaint is about the laundry facilities. It requires $5 in quarters to wash and dry a load, so if you don't have cash, you have to walk down to the corner store, get cash from the ATM there, come back to the front desk and have them change it into quarters. Theres no way to have laundry fees billed to your room or use a credit card. Who actually carries cash these days, especially 20 large coins?? Other than that (and the expensive parking fee), this hotel is wonderful for families and has an excellent hot breakfast daily.

There was no free parking lot. it was far from obvious that to get to the registration desk I had to pull into a parking garage and presumably pay for parking. I guess that's normal for downtown city hotels. Mike at the front desk checkout was excellent.

Front desk team was professional, friendly and always available. Breakfast was full of options, well-stocked and well-attended by hotel staff. Parking was a dream---you can go in and out without paying an additional fee. Rooms are huge, linens and pillow were fresh and comfortable. They even have a white noise machine and bedside reading lamps.

Was only there for short stay but hotel lost power one night for 12 hours and offered nothing to help other than to go to their bar ($10 Heinekens for anyone interested). Shocking there was no generator to keep the power going for the rooms (there was no bad weather). The internet and TV were also out for my entire stay. Extremely disappointed in this new-ish hotel for having so many failures. I cannot recommend to anyone and am frustrated there’s been no effort to provide credit for the hotel barely working during our stay. Rooms were not cheap! Stay elsewhere in Norwalk

My wife and I had a nice weekend stay here. We took the train from NYC on a cold Friday night. We arrived around 8:30 PM. We had dinner in the lobby restaurant/bar. We were the only ones there when we arrived. The food was surprisingly very good. The drinks were nice too. The bartender/waitress was very friendly. The suite was nice, clean and big. All of the staff, front desk, kitchen, maintenance and housekeeping were attentive and friendly.

The staff told my husband and I on 3 separate occasions that we would be able to check out early with no penalty as long as we gave 24 hrs notice. We gave them notice and now we are being charged the remainder of the stay. The staff was extremely rude about it and denying that they ever told us that. They did not look into our reservation at all and now it's somehow our fault. The hotel did not have a safe and sanitary area to be able to take my kids out to a restaurant. There were police arresting people right outside of the hotel, it was noisy, could not see out of the windows, dusty, and water all over the bathroom due to the shower system they have. It has become a nightmare ever booking with them.

Clean, spacious rooms. The lobby, rec room, and dining area have been updated and are clean and lovely. The morning breakfast was a very nice convenience. The front desk staff was not rude but did the bare minimum. Didn\'t tell us to register our vehicle to park (even though they asked if we were parking with them) & we got a note on our windshield in the morning. Other minor examples, too, of not really being in the "helpful host" mode. Not a huge issue and would stay here again.

Love the area, rooms were nice, and large with a kitchenette, very friendly staff and great dining options all walking distance. Rooftop was closed because of the season but the downstairs small bar was fine and the bartender was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend, we will be back.

What a wonderful location and perfect place to stay. The staff was wonderful . . . Judine, Debbie, and a lady in the morning near the breakfast (I did not get her name). Clean, safe, and near a police station (although we felt very safe at this location with or without the police). The room was comfortable and we loved the breakfast as they had oat milk, fruit, and wonderful coffee. Thank you so much. Hope to stay here in this positive environment again!!
