Pineapple Court Hotel

Breakfast was great. Microwave and fridge was welcomed. There were no spreads on the beds, was necessary.

The customer service and breakfast were very good. General area of the hotel was ok. Securities were provided to mann the vehicles. However, the hot water was on and off. The bathroom required a face lift and the foot towel wasn't clean.

Very helpful staff. Available parking. Was adequate for our one-night stay.

Rooms was clean and fresh. The Garden view was ok and pool was clean. Bed was comfortable, mini fridge ,microwave and kettle were working. Tv channels were extremely limited, bathroom was small, although clean. NO HOT WATER.

Cheap hotel in the outskirts of town. However, there's alot of noise in the very early hours from businesses next door (lorries loading, unloading etc.). The swimming pool area is a bit concrete though the kids area is green. Not a bad base for Ocho Rios, you can walk into town from here.

The stay was between 7-10 September 2025. It was not my first time staying at the PCH. I find it a convenient place to stay. Both check-in and check-out were quick and easy assisted by friendly staff members. My room (and bathroom/shower) was kept clean and tidy. Facilities included tea and coffee maker, fridge, microwave and TV. The only thing that was not so great was that I was told at Check-in that the restaurant was out of service and that breakfast could be obtained from a choice of two local food outlet which were only locsted a few yards away and took less than a minute to walk to each one. Not too much of a problem but I could have done with being aware of that information via e-mail prior to my arrival. On my last morning prior to checking out, there was no water coming from my bathroom taps. Water was available about three hours after I discovered it. However It caused a delay to my departure. I did not feel the need to complain as everything worked out in the end and my shower was very nice and hot. It was a pity thst the restaurant was unavailable as usually when I have stayed st the PCH, it has been a place where I had met with the management and more of the staff. My only concern was thst at varoius times of the days and evenings there were young men hanging around in the car park area smoking weed who I didn't believe were hotel guests. Before My stay, I recommended the PCH to a female friend who is planning on travelling alone. I may have to warn her.

I liked this property, the staff, cleaning crew and the security were very friendly and accommodating. My room was clean daily and linens replaced. Other than the mishap i had being locked in the bathroom due to a defective door, i had quiet a pleasant stay. I would visit this place again.

Clean, quiet, affordable with a working AC. You get what you paid for.

There is was no working water pressure ams no hot water. Told staff they had no solution.

You get what you pay for. This hotel is not a "hidden gem". This hotel or "bed & breakfast" is AVERAGE AT BEST. I stayed at this hotel from 8/11/2023 - 8/14/2023. The room looked outdated. Fixtures in the bathroom looked worn and rusted. There weren't any ice machines or vending machines at this place. The "restaurant" lacked staffing after breakfast was served. I ate the ackee and saltfish. It made my stomach ache for hours. There were two receptionists at the front desk. One was friendly and the other one... was not. The friendlier receptionist could not help me secure a taxi or tell me when/where I could exchange money. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning my room. The gentleman that worked there (as a security guard?) was friendly and attentive. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and understand that this is NOT a 5 star or even a 4 star hotel. I advise you don't make the same mistake I made by being influenced by the positive (suspicious?) reviews for this hotel. This hotel is closer to a 2.5 star rating, in my opinion.

Communication was excellent. I arrived late and the security guy had my booking and key. Walking distance to own, beaches etc. Shame there was no hot water for a shower.

Its very quiet and safe that's what i Love

Pineapple court hotel is a small, but cozy hotel. We arrived after check in time and found a guard to give us a key to our room. The room was very tidy, smelled nice and the bed was so comfortable. It’s really close to shopping centers. They serve a nice breakfast in the morning. Overall, for a small business the stay was very nice. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking to really experience the Jamaican culture. I’m glad we booked this hotel :)

The property is secluded and quiet. There was nothing spectacular in and around the area.

A bit remote but still walking distance. Got to see more authentic side of ocho rios.

The options for breakfast was limited with the same meals served daily. Which was the main complaint and some of the landscape could have been better maintained.

Stayed two night, no hot water most of the time, no blankets in the room, restaurant not open for breakfast, sent u off property with a voucher to rinky dink restaurant

Pineapple court hotel is a small, but cozy hotel. We arrived after check in time and found a guard to give us a key to our room. The room was very tidy, smelled nice and the bed was so comfortable. It’s really close to shopping centers. They serve a nice breakfast in the morning. Overall, for a small business the stay was very nice. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking to really experience the Jamaican culture. I’m glad we booked this hotel :)

Reasonable for the cost. Clean rooms and great Jamaican breakfast.

Chef was amazing!

The standard of the service at the restaurant has decreased. I was served breakfast in a box and the food was flowing over. The amount was not my concern, it was the rough presentation. This was about my fourth visit and I was always properly served in plates with knife and forks. Perhaps some persons prefers that, but I absolutely do not. I hope and trust that the standard will return to normalcy soonest. However, best regards.
