Doesn't really have a hostel vibe. Rooms are really small, and there's no aircon or a fan, and it was really hot at night. The breakfast room looks like a huge canteen. You have to pay to rent a towel, which is quite absurd, considering how expensive the hostel is (yes, I know it's Switzerland, but still). Huge pro, though: you get a big locker which is activated by your key. Bathrooms are not bad either. Stay here if you only need a bed, but don't expect much else.

The amenities were clean and there was a helpful attendant at all times at the desk. Issue was the heat and the linens. The fitted sheets were uncomfortable and there was no air circulation during the heat wave and they do not provide fans to accommodate. Wish they had adapted to the weather and offered us ways to sleep well considering the price of a room.

The hostel was close to the lake which made it a convenient location. There were plenty of areas to sit around both inside and out, the reception had a few reasonably priced drinks which was great. The only thing that would have made it better would be curtains around the bunks for privacy, which I have found in most hostels.

The bed and common rooms are clean, though there is only one shared bathroom for several rooms and hair was scattered on the bathroom floor. It was really hot day, but there was no a/c in the building, making the inside more unbearable than the outside. The location was nice; price was affordable from Geneva standard. Breakfast was okay.

Please ban smoking on your property. That includes the front area. The showers end up soaking clothing that is hanging. Rusty ceilings in showers. Inconvenience of having lockers outside rooms. Phenomenal breakfast. Poor hygiene by guests. People coughing and sneezing into their hands and then picking up tongs. No fans in hot rooms. No sinks in room. Very friendly staff.
