Excellent hotel. Impeccable service is all areas. Buffet breakfast was very good with lots of choices. And the restaurant and lobby bar were very good too. Nice roof top pool and view. I stayed for five nights in total. I found it to be a bit pricey but the location and amenities are excellent.

Good location, nice front reception staff, bit unflexible when it comes to late check out but that is normal for VN. excellent bfast buffet with lots choices, good gym/sauna/steam bath. nice rooms, excellent bedding, higher floors have small problems with hot water for shower and corner rooms have slow to no wifi. overall good 3.5 star hotel with excellent value for money

Great welcome on arrival. Very quickly into room. Location is great, easily walkable to main attractions but without being too central. Nice pool area on rooftop that was never too busy, with very good waiter service from restaurant also on rooftop. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Only negative was the lunch/dinner restaurant quality (average) and price (high). The breakfast was pretty good though. All in all a very enjoyable and comfortable stay and i would happily recommend to others.

As soon as we arrived we were treated like royalty. The service was amazing. The property is in a quiet street but also very close to everything. 10 mins walking in any direction will take you to an attraction. The roof top pool was also a highlight and definitely needed after a day walking around in the heat. The service in the pool / bar area was top notch. The food was also great with options for vietnamese or western available. Some people say that the rooms were a bit dates but we didn't really notice. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed here for a week. The first night, I was given a room without a good view. When I asked for another room, they were not able to accommodate that day but was able to switch my room the next day. All the staff were super friendly. The bathrooms were clean. Setting up the shower head was new to me but it was fine once I figured it out. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked good. The only annoying thing is that you have to leave your room key in a slot before you can have electricity. So after a long day, walking into your room will take some time before it cools off. The pool was nice and I didn’t see many people using it. I was here the first week of September. The gym is a little small but had 3 treadmills and a simple weight station. The room comes with a fridge bad they give you 2 waters, 2 beers, and 1 other fruit type of drink. That’s nice. Drinks are refilled daily. Breakfast is ok and convenient but I would recommend eating out. The area is quite nice and you can walk around anywhere. If you need to go a little further, you can use Grab to get a ride. Travel by car takes a long time so use a motor bike if you can. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and good except missing a night stand on one side of the bed. The room service and a/c controls are strangely located 2 feet off the floor. The room had a window but only a view of a building 3 feet away. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom needs to be updated, the tub shower combo is old and the shower head is too low as I had to duck to get under the shower though I\'m only 5\'9". The hotel location is close to everything.

Overall, our 6 night stay was excellent. Staff was super friendly and very accomodating. Room was clean, large, and ac worked great. Our only dislike was the configuration of the bathroom and lack of sufficient lighting, especially when applying make up. Plus, the towels were dingy in color. The staff stated they don't use bleach anymore as an environmental concern. However, these concerns will not stop us from staying at this hotel in the future. Many more positives than these minor concerns. Location was super too.

Large room with beautiful wallpaper. Nice to have a welcome tray with fruit. Comfortable bed and good shower. Fast laundry service. Good pool area. Affordable food and drink at the pool area. Staff was nice. Afternoon Tea was a nice feature. My only complaint was that the floor in the room could have been wiped a little better.

5 nights in deluxe room 1 king bed and shower over bathtub Room very comfortable Excellent breakfasts Bathroom average. Bathtub was placed in bathroom as a seperate unit and when step into it a bit unstable a wobble. Water goes everwhere from shower head all over floor Pool on top 12 floor. No1 really uses it its nice but not great. I didnt see anyone use top floor restaurant No swim up bar Otherwise great location and worth the price

Et rigtig godt hotel med god beliggenhed. Alle var meget venlige og renlighed og service var i top. Værelset ok men noget slidt specielt badeværelse, værelset var meget mørkt da der kun var en meter over til nabo huset. Men alt i alt et fint hotel som vi godt kunne finde på at bruge igen.

The hotel was very good but they have problems with the doors.when everyone close the door vas very loud. During the day was not a problem but night time and early in the morning was not very pleasant to hear the loud noise of the door. All others staff was very friendly and helpful when we need help.

Amazing stay in every sense!!!! If I could give more than five stars for the service I would. The staff at this hotel are amazing and nothing is a problem to them. During my stay I had an issue with the bath tap. Within minutes, the night manager had found us an upgraded room, moved our belongings and ensured there was a fresh fruit platter in the room. I have stayed at many hotels although you would struggle to find better service than offered at this hotel! I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting HCMC!!! The location is central to all District 1 has to offer and the hotel clean and modern. Thank you staff at Eden Star, especially Night Manager John for making our stay an enjoyable one.

We love this hotel and the staff is terrific. The young men who assist in the lobby are very friendly and attentive. Our maid (Miss Lien) was exceptional. Congrats to the from office manage (Thinh) for training his staff so well.

We have stayed here before and previously had enjoyed the experience. This time however was very disappointing. The air conditioner leaked and we were made to feel it was our fault. My wife was called a prostitute by staff when we came back from dinner with no apology being offered once they realised their mistake. The gym facilities were unusable and breakfast was very very ordinary. It’s a shame this hotel has fallen so badly.

We originally booked the largest room, which was the family suite that sleeps 3 people, with one double bed and one twin bed. Instead we were given the smaller room, which only had one double bed. They gave us a TEMPORARY FOLDED twin bed, a SMALLER room, and wanted to charge us EXTRA since we had three people, rather than two. The receptionist said if we were unhappy with our room we needed to cancel our reservation. Her attitude was poor and unhelpful. I have already reserved the same original room months ago, the 517 sq ft family suite, for a future stay on October 4-6. Expedia needs to correct this and make sure this hotel gives us our correct accommodation for our future stay. Writing this to warn people in case the hotel ends up changing your reservation also, and have the same thing happen to other future guests.

The hotel is convenient located in District 1, within a walkable distance to Ben Tanh but not that close so that the streets are relatively peaceful. There is a stall around the corner that serves “perfume lemon” tea that was quite unique and delicious. Expect a queue.

The Eden Star Saigon is positioned close to all the tourist locations, most walkable within 20 minutes or a few minutes by Grab. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful with local knowledge and directing me to a local place for a SIM card. They also packed me an early morning breakfast as my departure was just before the dining room opened.

It was in a convenient area with restaurants and massages in the area. Walkable to bui vien but it was sooo hot we ended up having to give in and get a grab to take us. I speak vietnamese so it wasnt difficult to communicate with staff. Our package came with breakfast and growing up in a viet house half the dishes for breakfast reminded me of home cooked meals it was nostalgic and delicious. The other half of the breakfast was westernized. The roof top pool overlooked a nice view of the city. The room service fried rice was disappointing, we ordered at like midnight though. We were starving. I liked the shoe cleaner in the lobby. We also got a massage at the spa. The massage was really good. They also offer sauna and noodles. All in all one if the better hotels in the area and I'd return

Ist time stay. Stay is friendly. Rooms are clean. Budget type Hotel. Many kids running around with no hotel or parental control. Breakfast buffet is very limited and caters more to locals and Indians than foreigners. Hazelnut coffee is the Only coffee available. Want Americano, must pay more!. Restaurant is too expensive for what they offer. Burger and drink is $20 compared to $3.everywhwee else, and tastes like rubber! Was not impressed and would not go back!

Staff were very helpful and friendly! Swimming pool was nice, we enjoyed our night swims :) So glad there was netflix on tv! Breakfast buffet was questionable, but fruit was nice Water pressure in bathroom/shower and drain was extremely weak, you might want to fix that
