1- location is good 2- room lighting is very bad 3- access to the rooms very bad . Lots of stairs . No help no elevator 4- bathroom , very bad . Door broken . Shower malfunction 5- breakfast is ok

Wonderful staff and amazing lookout for the balloons. You can trust them to book your tours and feel comfortable walking around the area. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Buffet style breakfast was good. Lots of food to choose from. View from the rooftop was amazing! Hotel was clean and the room is very spacious, but the floor is a bit worn out/uneven in our room. Didn't impact our overall enjoyment though! Reception staff were very helpful with booking hot air balloon rides. I would go elsewhere for other tours as it is pricey to book with the hotel. (60 euro at hotel vs 40-45 euro elsehwere for red/green tours)

On arrival, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, giving good explanations of the tours and answering our questions. Lovely clean room. Hotel is well kept and the breakfast spread was delicious. Nice views from the terrace of Cappadocia.

The Ottoman Suites was the perfect location to stay for my trip to Goreme. It was in close proximity to everything in the city. We were able to walk to the restaurants, walk around the city and explore other areas in Cappadocia. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They booked our activities for us with the best companies and got me a cake for my birthday. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and had a wide spread of options. There was a rooftop and we were able to see lots of hot air balloons on the days we were not going to get in them :). I highly recommend this property for cleanliness, proximity, breakfast options, beautiful rooms, wonderful staff and a beautiful view of Cappadocia.

The entire stay was excellent. The rooms were big and all equipped with modern technology, but they still had authentic Ace-style rooms. I honestly think I got the most enormous room in the hotel, which had two big king-size beds for me and my parents in the other room, which was also excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast had many options. You can have all the water to keep yourself hydrated. The location is perfect, close to the city center and restaurants. The only negative aspect is the lack of a luggage lift; we had to take three bags to three floors. Maybe a tiny elevator like the one they use in Italy would be better. Overall, I'll be back and stay in this hotel again due to the friendly staff, the location, and the experience of the hot air balloons from the roof or rooms.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! We had the Cave room which was so spacious, clean, quiet and absolutely gorgeous. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They provide water bottles in a fridge for everyone to take. Breakfast was amazing and a very wide selection. The owners prepare fresh Omelettes, fried eggs upon demand right in front of you. Their terrace is stunning especially at sunrise when the hot air balloons rise. It offers an amazing wide view over the village and valley. Within 3 mins walking distance one finds oneself in the heart of the village. I absolutely loved it there and recommend it to everyone!

The hotel, though unassuming but it has all the elements for a good stay. The check-in process was easy. The staff response quickly in WhatsApp when asked about available parking for our rental car. The room was big and clean and it is really carved inside a mountain! The best part is, we were able to see the all the balloons took off in the morning on their roof top! The hotel is located away from the very center of the town but just 5 min walk to it and the tour bus stop. There is street parking in front of the hotel if you want flexibility in traveling around the region without paying for commercial tours. We rented a car from Kayseri and drove 1.5 hours to Cappadocia. Lastly, everyday a nice breakfast was also served on the roof top dinning area. I highly recommend this hotel.

Place was not as nice and clean as they advertised. There was a lot of dust and we got allergic reaction as well. Very disappointed with the listing on Expedia, we trusted you guys to ensure the listing is up to the standard

The room was great, only thing missing was a little mini-bar or fridge ( that is important for water bottles or drinks etc. )

The room was in good condition however the hotel is very old with old furniture.

Lovely location to watch the hot air balloons in the mornings! The room was very spacious and clean other than some rock crumblings that would get on the floors from the cave. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff were incredibly helpful. Close to everything so we mostly walked everywhere!

The hotel is a unique stay as it is a cave hotel. The room is big because I booked the larger deluxe room. However, the hotel is overdue for a refresh. The maintenance is poor, floor lights were not working, probably have not worked for years, so the room is very dim. A central light in the sofa area is our main source of light in a 50sqm room. And it is fluorescent white lighting. Marble floor is dull and have a lot of old stains. Carpet is worn out and the suede sofa is dusty, like it’s not cleaned for months. The room isn’t clean. There is a small piece of broken glass on the floor and I deliberately did not pick it up to see if it is cleared during our 4 nights stay. No, it wasn’t cleared, obviously the room isn’t vacuumed or swept each day. The towels and bedsheets are old and have seen better days, and the bathroom is very dim. We would take a lamp into the bathroom when we want to shower, and take it out when we wanted more light in the room. For a 4-star hotel, it isn’t well maintained. There is a musty smell too. Guests should manage their expectations staying in a cave hotel because the walls and ceiling are raw soft volcanic rock. This means that there will always be little bits of rock pebbles on the floor, so it always feel ‘sandy’ and dusty. Add to that, a poor cleanliness standard, and you have a dusty, old room.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The experience of staying in the cave was luxurious, the room was huge, and the staff was amazing in helping us to book excursions and cabs and recommend restaurants. It is walkable to all great destinations, has beautiful views, and delicious breakfast included. Would highly recommend staying here!

This Hotel has a great view to see the air balloons during the sunrise 🌅 but the facility needs a full remodeling in so many areas, room, rooftop, etc.... The staf are incredible the best, very nice people and thanks to all of them for the guidance. The food is delicious, the lady in the kitchen is very nice and both guys in the reception amazing people.

Customer service in this hotel is 5 stars! Since I made the reservation they got in contact with me via email and shared their WhatsApp number for support which was perfect to communicate pre-trip (arranged our transfer, asked for tours prices, etc). The room was really nice and spacious with 2 big & comfy double beds which were perfect for a great night of sleep, and the bathroom looked like a mini-spa itself - so spacious and Turkish style. Breakfast was nice with good quality food and plenty of options. The view from the rooftop is nice too, the only thing that was missing was the traditional style sofas sitting area that you can see from the photos advertised on the hotel description, which was covered as there were no balloon rides whilst we were there due to the wind (it would have been nice to still have that sitting area available even without the balloon rides happening). The location of the hotel is perfect, walkable everywhere in town. I would definitely come back!

The staff were great. When we checked in, they told us all the balloon rides for the next day in Goreme were cancelled. They got us onto one in the southern area. It turned out to be the only balloons that went anywhere the entire time we were Cappadocia. We appreciate our host so much for that!

Highly recommend!!! Amazing Hotel! We stayed 2 nights. The hotel receptionist especially Yunos, and other men were so kind and nice. They provided us everything we need, and our Airport shuttle(12 GO company) bus didn’t come on the way back to airport from hotel and refund, but the hotel receptionist man called a taxi immediately and we made it to Kaiser airport on time. Thank you SO much for your all support to us.

The Staff are the most awesome people we met in Turkey. They were so kind , polite, friendly. I would like to rate the staff 10000000/10!!!!!They are the best!!!!

The staff was wonderful! Tuna was very helpful with any questions we had. He also set up our shuttle airport pick up, and gave us a recommendation of where to go have dinner. The breakfast was amazing, carefully curated by a couple. They made us Turkish coffee instead of the drip coffee available. We will definitely come back to Ottoman Cave Suites in the future.

When we arrived we were so tired, front desk was offering us all these packages and services. For the hot air balloon he says there’s only a few spots left and we should book it now. We didn’t want to lose the spot so we decided to book but he said to leave a deposit. I only had $100 bill with me so that’s what I gave for my deposit. Later that night my wife was not feeling well, we decided to cancel the hot air balloon and upon requesting for my $100 he refused to give it back. It was truly ridiculous as we felt like he just stole $100 from us. He also made us switch rooms the next day which was inconvenient and unfair. We liked the rooms but hated the service.

We had a great experience at Ottoman Cave Suites.Staff upgraded our room with no extra charges. Room was beautiful and cozy. Breakfast was very delicious and beautifully prepared. Staff were very attentive and kind. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back in the future!

A quaint hotel on the edge of the town but very close to all the restaurants, stores and city center. They were very nice and accommodating. The area was more on the quiet side. I liked that they provided toiletries, slippers, robes, water bottles, etc.

Awful! Dirty, nasty , terrible and just not worth it! The only ok thing was the location. The included breakfast was disgusting, they served the exact same dishes they had the day before, meaning leftovers! Staff not friendly, dirty, dusty and just discussing. You can tell at one point was nice but definitely not any more and it’s a shame because the property has a lot of potential. Do not book this hotel please!!!

The town is very nice and the location is good. The people in the front desk are not that friendly. They don’t start the breakfast early. You have to wait which is a problem. Also, the variety is only Turkish food not too much variety. They do not have air-conditioning in their rooms And they can be somewhat warm. The last day of our stay they did then clean up our room. I probably will suggest some other options next time.

The breakfast was always fresh and great, we loved this part of the day! All the staff was more than great, they went beyond to make our stay an amazing experience, even if the place wasn’t great, just for the people we would definitely stay here again!
