Aza Cave Cappadocia Adult Hotel

If you’re deciding between hotels, go with Aza. Hotel staff are amazing and so helpful with booking things. Hotel has amazing breakfast and the restaurant on site is also very delicious. The rooms are all decorated beautifully and unique. The location is amazing, walking distance to town. Aza has sister hotels all nearby and you can watch balloons from the hotel or walk across to the sister hotels for their terrace. The farmers breakfast was a great experience to learn the history of Cappadocia and the kelebek group which the sister hotels are part of. The pool is heated and was a great way to relax.

Nice cave hotel, with decent size rooms and lovey heated pool. We had a problem with our door- couldn’t get out of the room, but this was quickly fixed although the problem reoccurred on the day we were checking out. Breakfast was lovely, a huge selection. Our room was dark and dusty which is to be expected in a cave room, however putting on make up was hard with no decent light source in the entire suite. Asked for a prayer mat twice but never got one. Location wise- Close to main area where there are shops and places to eat etc…Booking excursions through hotel is more pricey. We had a very early checkout and they provided us with a take away breakfast tray which was very thoughtful. Overall was pleased with this hotel

This hotel is amazing. We had such a wonderful stay. Room spacious, clean over looking the pool. Staff are so friendly and polite. A special mention to Morat who made us feel so welcome on our arrival and throughout our stay. Breakfast was beautiful with plenty of choice on the buffet and a nice touch with fresh eggs cooked any way you wanted. Pool area excellent and an added bonus of sharing facilities with the equally amazing sultan cave suites and kelebek hotel. Restaurants at both hotels very tasty. The balloon scene from the sultan terrace was WOW!!!!. I could not find one fault with this hotel…..Do not hesitate to stay at the Aza!!

The property is beautiful and very well maintained. We stayed in the king suite with balcony and view of the garden which was very nice. The hotel is quiet and has beautiful views, but depending on the day you may not see a lot of balloons in the morning since the hotel is located on the other side of Goreme downtown. The breakfast was very nice. The check in and check out process was easy and the crew was very nice. The pool is beautiful but it was very crowded and the drinks/service is not up to par specially for the price.

Very nice room, love having fireplace and deep tub. Would have reviewed higher except a few things: Most important is that we specifically wanted and booked for a sauna. Having access to a sauna in another hotel is not the same as having a sauna. It was a long walk in freezing temperatures outdoors to get to the next hotel. Free parking was available but crowded and uncertain of availability. Again not very convenient to unload luggage and rooms were spread out, lots of stairs and no real offer of valet or of carrying luggage. I am fortunate that my dear boyfriend was more than willing, but for couples wanting a very VIP experience, I felt the website could have been more clear about what was on site/available/offered. The room was generally cold. We appreciated that they came late to do the fireplace, but it didn't work and we had to wait til morning to start our own fire. We went though wood quickly and ended up paying 10 euro for more wood. You could easily spend 30 euro in a few days on wood keeping room warm. Room service is available if I recall, I think you can have breakfast in the room. My partner doesn't eat sushi so a little more variety of options on the sushi menu would be ideal as alternative. The pool was steamy, but was too cold to use. We got in for moments before leaving. Cool setting in the snow. Wished warm It was the staff kindness and attempts to make us comfortable as well as the beautifil room decor that made up for some disappointments.

Fui numa época com 25 graus celsius durante o dia e ainda assim era impraticavelmente gelada. Vc pode tb usar a estrutura do Sultan Caves , outro hotel do mesmo grupo q possui belíssima vista .

The property was beautiful! There were a bunch of sitting areas throughout the property. It was only a 10 minute walk to the town. It is up a hill, but still not horrible. You do get partial access to seeing the balloons, but even if the wind isn’t in your favor that day, guests have access to the Sultan hotel rooftop, which is next door. The breakfast is fantastic! And the staff are amazing. They made the experience memorable. You were able to stay in touch with them on WhatsApp, which was also extremely helpful. They helped book excursions and transportation to and from the airport. I definitely recommend the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, a place to enjoy and get relaxed. One of the big pluses of AZA is that you can visit a sister hotel recognized as the best place to watch the balloons! So you get the best from both worlds

It was a fantastic stay at Aza Cave Hotel. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-designed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my visit was perfect—they were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The location was also ideal it’s just a walking distance from the centre. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting!!!

Otelin çevresi, ortamı çok güzeldi. kahvaltı servisi seçenekleri güzeldi. otel odası çok hoştu yani kapadokya’ya gidip hiç otelden çıkmasanız bile çok hoş vakit geçirirsiniz restaurantı vardı sushi deneyimledik çok lezzetliydi. Sadece temizliğinden memnun kalmadık otel odasında çok fazla karınca vardı. çantamıza kadar girmişti.

Die Freundlichkeit des Personals war exzellent. Immer ein Lächeln, sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer waren jeden Tag sauber geputzt und die Handtücher gewechselt. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich, authentisch und mitvsehr vielen frischen Zutaten aus der Region angereichert.

The staff were incredible and nothing was too hard or difficult. Dogukan was friendly and assisted throughout our stay. Breakfast was average for a buffet. The pool area was nice although lack of staff tiding up the towels. A staff member would be greatly appreciated by the pool area as it was scarce at times to find someone to order food / drinks. The sink in the bathroom took a while to drain, quite frustrating at times and the room has a musky smell slightly, unsure if it’s from the caves though. Overall was great, just poor attention required from staff by the pool.

Alperen was the staff member that made this stay amazing for us. He has the highest level of customer service and we want to thank him for his outstanding service during our stay. He is professional, yet warm, friendly and caring. He goes above and beyond for customers. I would also like to commend the cleaners whom found my diamond ring whilst making my bed and placed it on the side for me to find.I only realised I had left it there once I saw it. This speaks volumes of the honesty and integrity they uphold. Lastly Aza would be my first recommendation to anyone who wishes to visit Cappadocia. The property is stunning, clean, in a great location and quite frankly exceeded our expectations in every way possible. We were wowed when we got to our room. Thank you so much to all for a special and memorable experience.

部屋自体は綺麗。いわゆるカッパドキアの洞窟ホテルとしての雰囲気は素晴らしい。一方で他のホテルと比べて少し値段が高い。特別にサービスが良いわけでもない。また、清掃スタッフが少ないためか、非常に遅く、16時になっても清掃が入らず困った。何より悪かったところは、洗面所が臭い。下水の匂いが激しく、我慢ができないレベルだった。

A unique and enjoyable stay in a cave room suite, located in the courtyard with a communal terrace overlooking Fairy chimneys and the balloons floating by in the morning sky. The suite was spacious and clean with a very comfortable king size bed. The lighting is low therefore offered difficulties for my facial beauty regime using the bathroom mirror. I would recommend a light enhanced magnified mirror be installed. Bits of sand/rock occasionally fell off the ceilings and walls, this felt true to the character of the cave and enhanced the experience of being in a cave room. Breakfast offered an array of differing foods, from Turkish dishes, pastries, fruits to eggs cooked how you like. All fresh and delicious. Staff are friendly and extremely attentive, I asked if Kiwi was available when not out on the counter, the fruit came to me peeled sliced and beautifully presented! The hotel provided a complimentary activity, Kings Valley breakfast, we absolutely loved it, an opportunity to observe local people preparing traditional cuisine and offering an insight into how they live day to day, a humbling experience. This hotel played a huge part in making this holiday a spectacular one. They were on hand to suggest and book activities and surprised me with a birthday cake! We absolutely loved our 7 night wonderful stay at Aza Cave Hotel.

Views were great for instagram worthy pictures. And the restaurant and breakfast were also good. The WiFi in our king suite was annoying and kept disconnecting. The rooms AC was also not cooling and would randomly get very cold and then very hot after a while.

The only bad side my balcony was at the hotel patio, too noisy and we didn't have a good view

Everything about my stay was perfect. The room (king suite) was spacious, had a wonderful bathroom, terrace view, luxury bed and bedding. The hotel staff were exceptional and made us feel so welcomed. It was a 5 star experience.

This was a beautiful stay. I stayed in the presidential suite. My only complaint is that i wish management would secure some type of privacy for the balcony. Two occassions, other people were at my balcony. First set just walked up from downstairs and since the walls are not sound proof, u can hear them lound and clear and they woke me up. Second set were my neighbors who left their balcony(maybe management didnt specify which area was theirs) and sat in my area and again woke me up while i was sleeping. I told management and she claimed she will come and talk to them. 30 mind later they were there talking and flying their drone. I had to go outside and politely tell them. Management should please be more clear to lodgers next time or maybe put some type of barricade.

But I noticed this is a common practice among hotels in Cappadocia so I won’t go so far to call it false advertising, but something travelers should be aware of. Location: It is located at the outskirt of Goreme (8 mins walk to city center), so it has pros and cons. Pros being the view from the hotel’s vantage point is amazing and something you cannot get if you live in city center. Cons being you are more likely to be picked up first (you wake up early) and dropped off last if you go to a group tour by a van, and you need to spend some extra time walking to city center

The rooms are unique built into the cave walls. So fun to see. Since it is a cave expect it to be a bit dark inside. Staff great. Helped us arrange transportation to see the sunset on Red Valley.

During our stay we booked an ATV tour with the hotel. During the tour, it began to rain heavily and asked the tour guides if it was possible to return to the hotel via taxi (as we saw other members do the same). Instead of helping the tour guides began harassing my friend and I making inappropriate gestures to our bodies, and yelling shut-up in our ears. When we informed the hotel of this and that we would be leaving as we do not feel safe, they did not do anything to compensate us for the rest of the trip nor did they offer any reparations. Although they said they would refund if Expedia agreed, we were informed by Expedia that the hotel refused the refund. Furthermore, when we asked for help during the ATV tour the hotel refused to come get us. Stay away from this hotel at all costs.

The hotel is beautifully located, with easy access to Göreme’s main attractions. A major highlight is the rooftop at their sister property, Sultan Cave Suites — truly spectacular for sunrise views. The breakfast was the best I had during my entire trip in Turkey: plentiful, delicious, and included both espresso and Turkish coffee. Unfortunately, the experience was seriously undermined by a major issue: the air conditioning in our room stopped working after the first night of our 3-night stay. I promptly reported the problem early in the morning, and while staff claimed a technician had checked it, the issue was never fixed. The room remained uncomfortably hot, and no real effort was made to resolve it or offer alternatives. This lack of responsiveness and service was disappointing and made restful sleep impossible. With such a significant failure in guest care, I can only give 2 stars, despite the excellent location and food.

The property was breathtaking, just so surreal. The staff were exceptional; they were so kind and helpful. We got there really early and so they took us to the breakfast room to have breakfast while we wait for our room then checked us in early. They helped us arrange our airport transport and send reminders for everything through WhatsApp. They even lit the fireplace for us and gave us a portable heater as it was still cold when we went.

Thank you for the lovely stay! The hotel employees were excellent in accommodating us with different excursions and activities as well as transportation to and from the airport. We had little to plan thanks to their help. We were also upgraded for free and this was much appreciated. Recommanded.

Wow! This place is AMAZING! Different feel compared to the other hotels. More isolated and relax feels but still very close to town. The staff were so nice and accommodating, one of them is Murat. Sorry cant remember the names of the others. Breakfast buffet is amazing

Aza Caves is a nice hotel and the staff are excellent. It looks out the “back” of Kappadokya which has its appeal but it is not the classic view over the township which you might expect. While the landscape is wonderful and fascinating, it also looks out over a car yard with bits of industrial garbage which is not that appealing. To see the classic view of balloons in the morning and city lights at night you can go over to their sister hotel Sultan Caves and Seten restaurant (which is excellent and worth dining at). The breakfast is excellent at Aza Caves and the staff are delightful. At night it becomes a a Sushi restaurant… The staff helped us with bookings and their choices were excellent. Many payments were made directly to the vendor so it felt as though we were paying fair price.

Great location and property! Hospitality: Friendly and courteous staff. Always available to help 24/7 within the property and with tours/taxi services outside. Location and view: Short downhill walk into the main town ( approx 10-15 mins). Has a view of a valley, but its sister property (Sultan Cave Suites) on the other side of road around 100-200 mts away has a great view of the Goreme city, which is especially stunning during sunrise with balloons and at night with the lights. Hotel and rooms: Beautiful landscape especially around the open pool area. I stayed in their king suite on the ground floor, which was very spacious, had a huge bathroom with a stand-in shower and a tub, and a balcony with a view of the pool. I received a free upgrade and a bottle of wine (thanks to Expedia platinum membership and this being a VIP hotel). Food/restaurants: There is one Sushi restaurant on site, which was supposed to be good, but we didn't try it. Breakfast is provided in the same place, which is fresh and tasty. Mostly has vegetarian options for breakfast, but it's plenty. There are few restaurants within 2-5 minute walking distance and many more in the town. Shuttle: Private shuttle is available to Kayseri airport for 90 euros and 80 for Nevsehir(per vehicle, upto 6 pax). Public shuttle is around 10 euros per person. If you are looking for a private shuttle, I suggest booking a local taxi, which charges around 50-60 euros or less based on your negotiation skills.

Beautiful property and walkable to all the restaurants city center.

La verdad es que fue decepcionante …el hotel es más bien de una categoría 3 estrella, es feo y poco armonioso en general, la zona de ubicación tampoco ayuda …está alejado y no tiene vistas hacia la ciudad y menos a los globos, te ofrecen vistas desde otras terrazas (restaurantes cercanos) pero cuando llegas te dicen que no puedes estar más de 10 minutos. Recomiendo a otros viajeros quedarse en zona cercana al sunset point ya que desde ahí pueden llegar caminando a este punto y observar desde ahí la salida de globos y ver el atardecer de la ciudad, además es mucho más limpio y hay restaurantes de buena categoría en el sector.

The hotel is set up high with amazing views all the staff were very friendly and very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble from help in retrieving bag left at airport to booking trips. The room was excellent and grounds well maintained. We loved our stay here. One small change would have been some local food in the restaurant in the evening as was totally Japanese. Breakfast showered again was a fantastic choice and help used buffet apart from orders for a variety of cooked eggs

Amazing, beautiful property with very friendly, helpful staff. I celebrated my birthday during my stay and I was surprised with a birthday cake and many birthday wishes from staff, I appreciated it so much. Also has a great breakfast. I also tried Azia sushi restaurant and it was also great! Highly recommended. Thank you guys for you warm welcome and hospitality
