This hotel is a little oasis from the hustle of town. We had a beautiful view of the mountain and the three main palaces. Breakfast was plentiful and delivered by basket to our room at our chosen time. Parking was included which was a selling point as parking in Sintra is very limited. Town is only a 5-10 minute walk away, but it is up an extremely steep hill. Not easy for anyone out of shape or with mobility issues. Walls between rooms are a little thin, but a fairly quiet stay! We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the property, had a pool, view of Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle and valley, short walk to restaurants and shops. Staff helped us with tickets, information and booked taxi for us up to Pena Palace. Lovely breakfast brought to our room. Would highly recommend!

Hard to find driving, the sign is a tile in the wall and difficult to see. Google gets you there and then you need to look for the tile. Only 500 meters from the National Palace and central tourist area. Quiet location, nice views.

Its a multi level room layout, Okay if you are young. The superior rooms that we booked was way down and we had to haul our luggage in a very difficult manner. Car parking is a nightmare , as anywhere in Sintra.

The staff are extremely pleasant, helpful, friendly and kind. They were very informative and helped us make reservations. Fillipa is the greatest! The location has parking and is convenient for walking into Sintra and to the castles. Our room and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in our room was one of the best experiences!

Breakfast was very good. Lovely having it delivered to the room. Walk to city center uphills was about 25 minutes. I suggest people with mobility problems to avoid this hotel. Lots of stairs, few railings and can be quite dangerous.

Heater didn't work so it was a cold night. Steps to reach the room are slippery and without any night light so rather dangerous. Other than that, the staff is really nice and the room is nice too.

Voor bezoek aan Sintra een hotel op goede locatie. Wel een steile klim naar het dorp. Helaas geen ontbijt buffet, maar op de ontbijt op de kamer. Hierdoor mis je de interactie met andere gasten. Pand is hier en daar wel toe aan wat opknapwerk. Parkeren kan op eigen terrein, echter je moet goed kunnen sturen om je auto er kwijt te kunnen, Voor geen grote huur auto nemen, deze past niet door de poort denk ik. :-) Personeel is aardig vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Helaas geen mogelijkheid voor diner. Wel is er een mogelijkheid om zelf in de keuken iets klaar te maken, evt is er ook een BBQ tot de beschikking.

This B&B is in a quiet location, a bit out of the way. It is difficult to compare it favourably with the excellent Lisbon hotel we were in previously. The beakfasts were very good (delivered to your room) and the shower excellent. We were in a Superior room.

It is surrounded by trees and the sound of birds, and offers amazing views of the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was cute and comfortable with a small fireplace and balcony. It was on the small side, though, and it could use a bathroom and furniture refresh. If you don't mind a bit of a walk to get into the heart of Sintra, Casa do Valle is a great place to stay!

The staff was fabulous. When we arrived, they booked us tickets for the same day to go to the palace, arranged a taxi, and made us a dinner reservation. Although we were concerned about the lack of air conditioning ( it was HOT), the ocean breeze did come in and cool our room. A very pleasant experience.

The view from the balcony is stunning. Service is extremely helpful. We were upgraded to a suite, which was a nice surprise. The walk to Sintra old town is about 15 minutes up hill. Not for the faint of heart, but well worth the walk.

More amazing than it looks in pics!! Quaint little rooms. Beware there is no AC but evaporated cooler. This was fine in early May but superior rooms that look up to castles get no cross ventilation. Sweet breakfast served to your room. Really special place. Highly recommend. Very difficult to find. Use google maps or call and ask for them to send a pin.

A beautiful and bucolic setting. Just be aware it is sort of resort/ retreat like vibe. There are a lot of steps to navigate so better for light travel (not too much luggage) and outdoors people vs. standard hotel/ inn stay. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Sintra in this area requires a good amount of walking (including uphill). Uber and cars can be called as needed. Breakfast is delivered to your room which is nice (and a good selection and generous).

Difficult to get there and without the car is quite tiering. Problems with arranging the taxi. The staff is not flexible and did not interest much in our comfort. Very nice lady during the checkout at least - thank you for your kindness. Breakfast was delivered to the room which was great however it was not much. Beautiful views and a calm area - that is what we expected and that was the reason for the booking. Hospitality could be better. Sintra is a very commercial place with a nice historical heritage but you can miss the Portuguese spirit that you can experience in Lisbon or Algarve. Thanks anyway.

The staff was excellent. It was a "little tricky" finding it but once we got there everybody was accommodating. Short walk up to the main square upon arriving was excellent. Breakfast was great! Truly unique experience.
