Overall the htel is fione but lacks a restaurant which would have been good for breakfast. Even thiough there is a cafe next door on wekends they are closed. so its an inconvnience.

Our stay at Quest suited our needs for the stay. It’s an easy walk to anything in Adelaide, within proximity of most major tourist attractions. The apartment was large with a big balcony and contained all the amenities we needed. I would say though that staff were fairly disinterested though and cleaning could be improved. The blankets that were in our room to use were very smelly and musty. The gym is also tiny!

Glad Parking was available but it was across the street at bus terminal. Pass allowed unlimited exits and returns. No onsite restaurant. No dish soap to clean dishes.

Very nice and comfortable. Only problem we had was with parking since it was across the street and in a parking garage. Not particularly convenient (no valet services for cars or luggage). Otherwise, very convenient and accommodating.

I loved that it was one block from Central Markets, short walk to Rundle mall and trams, great apartment. Only thing I would change would be to get bed topper for bed to make more comfortable. Very clean and had washer and dryer. Wonderful!

I’m sure that a stay here ordinarily would be fine. However, at the time of my stay the street was closed on the day of my checkout, which led to an incredibly stressful experience. First of all, they forgot to give me my parking card that gave me access to the car park across the street. On entering the car park I was instead issued with a ticket. The hotel then swapped the ticket for a hotel parking card, saying I should be able to get out with that. This was incorrect and as a result, I was not able to exit the parking station without paying for parking a second time. Then I drove around for an hour trying to find somewhere near the hotel so I could run the parking card back to them because the instructions they printed for me did not indicate all the closed roads. In the end I had to drive down a closed street and park illegally just to return a parking pass that I never used. It added an hour of driving to what was already going to be a six hour trip. So whilst the accommodation and staff were pleasant, the overall experience was negative.

When booking there was no mention of a bond. The room was made up with 2 single beds when I asked for double. The request could only be actioned the next day because staff had gone home. I was also told my bond would not be refunded the same day because staff wouldn’t be there on Sunday to confirm the room was ok.

It was a disaster. The temperature in Adelaide was 40 degrees the airconditioning failed and we had to be moved to another hotel. Initially we were moved to another Quest accommodation but it was very inadequate so we were moved to Crown Plaza which was wonderful in terms of accommodation but we went through a nightmare of communication problems between Quest Manager and Crown Plaza manager where we we told we needed to pay an extra $1800 to which we never signed up for then we were locked out of our room…..took about 6 hours to sort it all out. Effectively we lost a whole first day of our three day holiday which was very stressful. Crown Plaza accommodation was lovely but the start to the holiday shook us and it ruined a trip which we usually love as we have been coming to WOMADelaide for over 25 years. It will take a while to come to terms with this most abominable experience.

Room very clean and practical. Excellent location between the market and Rundle Mall. A 10-15 minute walk to the cricket. My only issue is that as with most accommodation in Adelaide the price doubled for the five days of the match. The only way to pay was using a card, even when it was a direct withdrawal from cheque account. And the previously unmentioned card fee was $46, on top of the doubled nightly rate. Had I known ahead of check in, I would have done a bank transfer, saving that fee.

It was great. Property and staff were fantastic. Though the location is beneficial but it is not at all the safest, I strongly advise against walking alone at night time in the area. There are a lot of attractions in the area and it is easy to get around by foot just be self-aware and security conscious.

Franklin St Quest has everything you could want, central to be able to walk everywhere or catch the free buses and trams. The Intercity bus station is directly over the road. We were a group of senior ladies and could all get together for our outings with seating in the lobby. The pantry is a great idea too

Quest on Franklin is a lovely hotel. Lovely modern apartment with an amazing view of Adelaide. Easy to access the Adelaide Central Market and plenty of bars restaurants and cafes close by. Highly recommned
