Log Cabin Inn

The room was clean and spacious. There are some outdoor sitting areas that were nice to get out of the room. This was my first visit to Bay Minette and I will definitely stay at Log Cabin again.

Very nice room and pool

Recently stayed for 3 nights. I picked it because it is close to the courthouse where we had business. This is an old property, but the lovely owners are taking care of it and have made an effort to update the rooms with stylish paint schemes and new flooring. It is very clean, and we had room cleaning service every day. An update on the pillows would be good, and maybe put 4 of them on a king size bed. Lots of tv channels was appreciated and we enjoyed the coffee shop across the street. The hotel is not a luxury property, but it's great for a quick stay. We felt safe, and it was quiet. We would stay again. The pool looked inviting, but we did not have swim suits.

Property is being renovated. Thus far the work that was performed looks and functions nicely.

Property was ok, I believe they were renovating. Mattresses and toilets outside on curb areas. Ok if you are passing through.

Staff was friendly enough. Room was very clean & comfortable. Fridge & microwave worked. Pool area was very clean. The log cabin- like feel was nice. One lamp in the corner didn't work. TV remote didn't work. I had no cell service while in the area.

Had a GREAT 2 night stay. Had never been to this area b4 so was going totally by reviews i saw on the site. Staff friendly, courteous, and helpful. Comfy beds and everything on the property worked. Pool was clean and NOT over chlorinated. Id give 6 stars if i could. We will definitely stay again on our next teip to the mobile area.

What a cute place! Nothing fancy, but perfect for our needs, and affordable. With the outdoor stuff, swings, pool, picnic table, it seems perfect for families

When getting into the room my wife noticed a stain on one of the beds, and both beds had either dirt or crumbs of some sort under the sheet which the bed was made over. Rates were low but the cleanliness of the rooms doesn’t seem to be a priority

My room was the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I’m OCD about cleanliness and pick apart rooms that I visit. Without a doubt I could not find one thing wrong with my room. Seriously! I’m a fanatic about cleanliness! If ever in the area again I will stay again. Kudos to the cleaning staff. EXCELLENT JOB from an OCD cleaner. Thank you!

Very clean and updated

Wanted to sleep in and the noise was ridiculous. The place is ran down. The room had a nasty smell upon entry.

This inn is my absolutely favorite to tay at. Its always perfectly clean and the staff is always so friendly. The decorations outside of the building really brighten up the place. You can really tell that the owners care for this place.

Only stayed for one night, everything was very clean

Place felt very sketchy. Dead bugs were at the threshold of the door. The comforter was stained. The place as a whole looked dingy.

I wasn't too satisfied with the cleaning of the room. My refrigerator hadn't been cleaned at all, and still had a box of food still in there, I am assuming from the previous guest. The shower head in the bathroom was broken, it worked, but the pressure was weak. We didn't even use the showers when we were there. I was with my kids and every time we exit and entered our room upstairs, we had to pass loud guys, smoking on the stairway 24/7. Very bad for my sons asthma. We just ended up leaving at 2am to get on the road home since the beds were sunk in, pillows flat and flimsy, so we weren't getting any sleep anyway. My experience 1/10.

Wi-Fi not good

It was clean and nice. The only suggestion I would have is better beds.

Over all good stay. The property is decorated cute and the rooms look like they have been newly painted / remodeled. The only 2 things I would have to complain about would be the hard bed and paper thin comforter. Both made it hard to get a good nights sleep. I would stay here again if I’m in the area.

Older motel going thru refurbishing. My room was new remodel . My room was upstairs and close to road so it go road traffic noise. Probably best motel in town. Limited eating establishments were open during my stay except for fast food.

Noisy occupants in room next to ours. Woke us out of a deep sleep at 1:45 am. Noisy air conditioner had to be repaired.

The hotel is nice. But we had issues. A few of the plugs wouldnt work. The cards keys were a little aggravating to het the door unlocked. And the tv wouldnt work. I used hotels.com got charged 185 for

Seems to have a lot of extended stay patrons that maybe work in the area…lots of weird stuff stacked around- grills, etc. LOUD Thursday night! AC sounded like a helicopter taking off every time it kicked on. For $120, it was clean but was not a good nights sleep.

Management was terrible! Room was dirty, and bare! We had a table for two and bed. Oh, I forgot the desk with a chair. The shower’s water pressure about took my skin off my body; it was extremely hard no matter how low you turned down the water! No cleaning service the complete stay! The last night staying there many young ladies were in the pool and a decked out Ford Excursion drove up next to the pool; the girls grabbed their towels and ran to the Ford and hopped in like the driver was their pimp! I was appalled!

We got checked in fast. When we got into the room, we couldn’t get the tv to work and they were quick to come fix it. It was a clean and simple room. It had a fridge and microwave too! Definitely recommend.

The young man in the office is very polite and knowledgeable of the property! His customer service is awesome ! His service is greatly appreciated . Thankyou !

Arrived and was put upstairs when I booked the appointment I told them my daughter was in a wheelchair and then wanted us to stay in a smoking room. My wife has breathing issues. So they put us in a room with one king-size bed and a pull-out bed for my daughter. NO AC next day I told them wanted to put us upstairs again so we packed up and left came back home and were NOT given a discount nor a refund for the second night. I do not recommend this hotel to ANYONE. The only one that was wanting to help was Jennifer other just don't want to help and keeps making excuses for the poor service that was given.

My husband had left to go get us morning coffee, and placed the "Do Not Disturb" tab on the outside handle. I was brushing my teeth, and the cleaning persons walked in on me. Let's just say, I was not a happy camper. Will not stay there again. If the do not disturb tab is out, do not enter my room.....

There wS nothing not to like. I needed a ground floor room & they made that happen. Extremely friendly & helpful. Will definitely recommend to anyone needing to stay in Bay Minette.

The whole staff was soooo nice!!! Usually one or two will stand out. Not here. Everyone at this hotel was greeting, happy, helpful and patient! I can’t say enough good things about them! Definitely would recommend.

This is right across from the college and we always stay here on visits. The staff is always very friendly and the rooms are nice and have a log cabin style touch.

Cozy log cabin motel with a good bathroom and comfortable beds. Has a very secluded feel not too far from the Alabama Gulf Shores.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. It was very close to the field and the atmosphere was great. Close to food and activities. Would definitely recommend.

Very convenient for business in Bay Minette. Area feels a little sketchy coming in late at night.

Convenient to food and municipal buildings. Quaint and comfortable rooms. Could use some updates to bring together the "Log Cabin" feel.

I requested a non smoking room and had to sign 'Penalty If You Do Smoke In The Room' agreement. But when we opened the door, the stale tobacco stench hit us. I got the Desk Rep to come down and she concurred. However: - no other room available, - no refund, - no compensation. Handed me a bottle of deodorizing spray and said "sorry." There was no way to open the window, the HVAC was week so could not air out the room. I think smokers just go ahead and smoke it up and (maybe) pay the $25.00 penalty. Also - only one sheet and a very thin coverlet on the beds. - shower was wonky (hard to keep shower head turned on because water leaking from bottom of rhe shower head kept hitting the plunger you pull up on the spigot to engage the shower) Bay Minnette also has very limited places to dine. Two "seafood" places but very poor foof. I strongly recommend paying more and staying in Daphne or Spanish Fort area 20 miles further south. There was also a Motel 6 across the street. Can't be any worse than this place. Although the parking lot is well lit, it is fully open and there are several nearby storage buildings and it would be easy for a smash and grab on a vehicle. ONE GOOD THING: Strong door locks.
