The room was great, the breakfast was awesome for a free breakfast. However the person at the front desk wasn't the friendliest. It was like she didn't like her job or was having a bad day. The pool was really cold. Staff was told of the problem. Nothing was done about it. I suspect the pool heater was not working. We were really disappointed, because the whole reason I booked at this location was because of the indoor pool. My grand kids were with us and they love to swim.

Front desk was welcoming. Rooms were cleaning. Breakfast was great lady was helpful. Only complaint would be the pool being very cold. The heater was broken, but nothing was said when we checked in luckily they had a hot tub so kids got some swimming time in.

It was solid, except the stains in the carpet, the hot tub had clearly not been cleaned in a while to the point that you could see the dirty brown streaks in it, and the pool itself was freezing cold despite being indoors.

The gentleman at the front desk was vary cool and nice. Breakfast was warm and fresh. Staff was really nice and friendly. The room was clean and smelled like cleaning products (in a good way) only thing that sucked was the pool was under construction. (Not a big deal)

Hotel needs updated. Lots and wear and tear, especially in the bathrooms., stains all over the carpet. Pool had way to much chemicals, hard to breath when the whirlpool was going!

We got 2 rooms that were just not clean. The caulking in the shower has been horribly replaced and there are nasty stains. I wont be showering in it. The grout has bacterial growth in both rooms. The carpets, walls, lampshades, etc all have stains. The hallway is dirty from one end to the other. The elevator has a used qtip on the floor along with other spills. Im staying because my husband wont let me complain again. But, this is the second Holiday Inn in a year that i have been to that is just not up to standards. They used to set the standards and now, i wont be booking with them again. I have pictures. Im not over-stating how unkept it is.

Numerous stains in room on carpet. Hair on floor of bathroom. Room was not vacuumed either before we checked into room. Sheets were clean. Pillows are comfortable. Decent place to sleep just needs better housekeeping!

The shower was filfty and had black mold. The door going into the room was not safe. It was not ADA compliant, the handle instead of being able to pull it down to open the door, you had to pull up to open the door. We only found out about this after we went downstairs to talk to the front desk then we had to go back upstairs and open the door. The door also didn’t close behind us when leaving which is a fire hazard. Children ran up and down the hallway screaming until my husband yelled at them around 10 PM. A dog started barking around at 11 PM and people were in the hallway, yelling dog dog dog. At 1 AM the people across the hall were pounding on the door asking to be let in.

When we first walked in the hotel it smelled really good and was clean! The lady who checked us in was very kind and sweet. The room was clean and surprisingly not much noise from other guest. My only complaint was that the room had a beeping noise that was ongoing all night and was so hard to sleep and it was driving me nuts. It was almost like an alarm battery was dying and a constant loud beeping was going on all night.

We’ve stayed at this hotel a few times for basketball stuff. The last time we stayed, things were mostly good. I think the only thing that went wrong was never getting towels I requested. This time, was mostly good. There’s some discrepancy in the pool hours. Online it says 10, but signs by the pool say a later time. Another boy that stayed there said he stayed until 11 the first night but they were told to leave the pool at. 10:30. Not a big deal but consistency would be nice. Beware of the toilet in 311. It doesn’t work. It takes 2-3 times to flush a #1. We just dealt with it because I knew the hotel was completely booked. No other rooms were available - or so I was told when I asked for an early check-in. None of the bathrooms have ventilation so I bring a fan along. The rooms are clean and it’s located in a nice area. Kids tried to use the WiFi to game and couldn’t get it to connect - even using a ethernet cable. It’s got a fridge and a microwave and I really appreciate those amenities when we travel

We did not having working television all weekend. Told them and they gave us new remote batteries, but the input button wouldn’t bring up a menu to get television to work. No other help was given and supposedly getting extra reward points that we don’t even use anyway.

Great check in experience, clean room, good breakfast. Storms rolled thru the area and all of the sudden we had a waterfall in the room. Made the best out of it - Following morning Informed the front desk about the roof/ceiling leaks and within 30 mins they had crews working on it.

Gave me an occupied room, the key didn’t work. Asked the personal for assistance and he was annoyed walked with us to the room and threw the sign, key did not worked, he oped the door and found out somebody was sleeping. He did not apologized. Gave us other room, the sheet were dirty with blood stains. I do not appreciate the knowing two/three hour prior the check out hour. Something to rescue: Morning staff was way more friendly and helpful. I do like Holiday, it is my first choice when travel. This is the first or second time that I have a not so pleasant experience.

The check in lady must have had a bad day. She didn't come out until I said "hello". When she came out she said "you're at the wrong terminal". So I stepped over to the other computer and said "this is where you should be" No hello, thank you...nothing. When we checked out in the am, the lady wasn't quite as rude, but no greeting to us, nor thank you. We thanked her ????? I tried cancelling another holiday Inn on our return trip, but we booked it wrong and wasn't able to cancel. Fortunately, the lady in OK was in a much better mood.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was amazing and very helpful. I was able to extend my checkout time as my 3 yr old toddler had surgery at 6am they allowed me to checkout at 12:30. Allowed me to be abke to go back and rest before heading back home a 4 hr drive. This will be the go to for my family and I.

The service and front desk was great, the breakfast was fantastic!! The only thing was the pool and hot tub was freezing cold and not ready when we arrived. The hot tub was great the next morning but the pool was still too cold for the littles in our group. Did have an issue with the toilet the last night/morning but reported it to the front desk.

I come to Wichita at least once a year, and I always stay at this location (NE). I have never had any issues. The breakfast is always good. I really enjoy the fresh brewed coffee.

Would like to preface this all with, the front desk lady was amazing. She did her best to help with all the issues. That said, first room I was given clearly had not been cleaned (bed was unmade, trash on floor etc) and smelled of human waste... Second room was cleaner... At least no visible things. But shower was really in need of deep clean. Kind of gross. All in all I was only in town for a night but if I have to come back will not be staying here. Also, breakfast items were not hot and looked prepared a week earlier...
