We enjoyed our stay at Pleasant Inn. The location is wonderful, plus parking and easy walks to town and to the water. We got lucky, and our visit coincided with the kite festival and the farmers market, all walkable! Plus, the sounds of wildlife and the pitter-patter of the rain on the roof were really magical. The room and bathroom were clean, and the shower had great water pressure. We'd definitely stay here again, though, if you're a sensitive sleeper like me, I'd recommend bringing earplugs as the walls are thin + your own pillow.

Stayed 2 nights

We stayed here for two nights. Check in was at 3, we arrived around 3:30 but the room wasn’t ready. Not too big of a deal. But since it wasn’t ready, we didn’t get the door hanger to let them know we needed service the second day. We are a family of 5, and it is very difficult to find one room places that will accommodate sleeping for families of 5 or more. We had a family room that had one king, a full size and a twin. The beds were comfortable, and they each had a nightstand. The bathroom was tiny. The shower curtain was about two inches too short to stop water overflowing. My husband pointed out that the bottom of the shower was cracked and the water was coming out that way. We used all the towels to soak up the water on the floor. Sink was very small too. It made it a little awkward to brush our teeth since our heads would hit the glass corner shelves. Since it is a beach town, and floors were hardwood, it would’ve been nice to have a floor mat to wipe our feet, or a broom in the closet. Parking is limited here. Overall 4/5 from us. I would recommend for family stays for families of 5-6. It’s a good walking distance from the pier, coffee and places to eat.

Location is amazing. Room is tight for 5 people and the bathroom is really small. Think about a small bathroom and then divide by 2. Other than that, this was wonderful. Location can’t be beat.

I've been coming to the Pleasanton Inn for almost 20 years, and the experience gets better each time. It's clean, quiet and the kitchen is a HUGE bonus. We love that it is in walking distance of Embarcadero and Main St. We can't wait to go back.
