Small room, but everything very ship shape and clean. Nice to be able to park next to room. Wifi was weak. They made it very easy to check in late. Good natural ight in room, excellent lighting in room and a good shower. And off the main drag but close to everything; I'll stay here again.

An older motel in decent shape. Overpriced for what it is. The location is good, close to at least two quite good (but expensive) restaurants (Breakers is recommended). Be warned they do not have an ice machine which I have never encountered in a motel in my whole life. Otherwise a decent if overpriced stay.

The room was clean and spacious. We liked having a kitchen available with a stove, oven, and full sized refrigerator. One thing to keep in mind if you stay in the luxury suite is the stairs. They are very steep and small. I slipped down them on my way to check if the door was locked and hurt my back and shoulder. Overall, we had a good stay, but do not know if we would stay again due to the stairs.

Room was clean, location was great! Upon arrival lady in office was ok. Nothing over the top for personality. ICE MACHINE NOT WORKING!! Huge NEGATIVE! Bathroom small. Don't expect to brush your teeth and NOT hit your head on the 2 corner glass pieces. Room #6. Room comfortable as well as the bed. Weird pillows..Looks like king size pillows are cut in half so there were many (5) smaller pillows on the bed. Luckily, I ALWAYS bring my own pillows and a blanket just in case.

The room was very nice! Love the kitchenette; staff are really sweet and helpful. The location is really convenient—plenty of parking spots. The only complaint is that the bathroom is a little small other than that everything is awesome. We would love to stay there again in the near future.

Not as advertised. Much smaller than expected. No attendant or front desk MOST of the time. Gas stove had to be lit with a match. No a/c. All windows had to be left open. Everything was at least 40 yrs old. Location was good.

PROS: Good location (just like more than a dozen other motels in Morro Bay); good shower water pressure; kitchenette. CONS: Floors were dirty; smaller than expected; small shower - larger people will have trouble; very inconvenient placement of bathroom sink and shelf above it; office closes at 5:00 pm; riding on coattails of COVID-19 - not offering daily towel replacements or cleaning and trash removal - you must ask for fresh towels.

We were in Morro Bay, to visit family and needed a convenient and budget friendly stay. We had some Hotel.com credit to use, and this place had availability and a small kitchen as a bonus. The room was clean and basic. The bed was quite comfortable. This was mid week, mid April and we had someone in the adjoining room that we heard from time to time, nothing too bothersome. The bathroom was the area that could have used some additional attn. The main issue was mold on the shower curtain, at the bottom. The plumbing of the sink was exposed plastic flex pipe. There was evidence of a towel bar that once was attached, now just a bracket where it once lived. A fan would be helpful in the bathroom to aid with ventilation. Web used the kitchen to heat water for coffee only, but a real meal could have been made in the small space. The property was well manicured and clean. It has a wonderful proximity to The Rock. The Sea Lion's were very vocal in the wee hours of the morning... All in all it was pretty much what we expected. It's a property that is clearly from the 1950's... updating has been done, but dont expect the Marriott. We would stay here again!

Deluxe 1 bedroom suite with well-equipped kitchen was fabulous! Clean, quiet with view of the bay. Wish we had stayed longer than just the 1 night. I would definitely book a family stay there again.

Older property but very well maintained and clean. Stayed here in the past and I absolutely love staying here. The owners are very nice people and go above and beyond for their guests. Comfy bed, mini fridge, microwave, small coffee maker, walkable to everything and always at a very reasonable price! No complaints!

Everything was great! Super, super clean room, cozy but comfortable, solid amenities, and wonderful owners who are personal and accommodating. The location is perfect. Easy walks to everywhere. Morro and Main is the epicenter of Morro Bay and this place is literally a block away. Walk to Lola & Frankie’s for breakfast then walk up to Legend’s at night and walk up and down Morro for shopping, food, and cocktails. I look forward to coming back again and again. Pleasant Inn is my go to!

This was our 3rd stay at Pleasant Inn. We like it here! We enjoy the outside table for pre-dinner cocktails with ocean view and we love having the kitchenette in the room. Fair sized room - clean and comfortable. All the necessities. My only down-side is that the shower is minuscule. We expect it and deal with it because I don't think there could ever be a change there. Otherwise, great place. Great location, with small view of the ocean. Convenient to the embarcadero and delicious restaurants. We'll be back (again!).

We stayed in a 2 bedroom. 4 adults and a child. Very very very tiny. Beds were nice. No room for the 4 of us to sit. Bathroom is like a small travel trailer. Just too small for the money.

Jessica is competent and friendly. It’s priced well. Parking is great. Location is awesome. Not too close and not too far from the rock and closer to downtown. Super clean. Barring a couple of shoe prints on the floor it was exceptionally clean. Super cute kitchenette. In other parts of the world this would be a full kitchen. Everything is well placed and easy to find. Made me think why do we need a big house. Comfortable mattress great towels great linen. Can’t really find anything to complain. Maybe the TV and the dresser could be upgraded. Absolutely wonderful place.

We really enjoyed staying at Pleasant Inn. We were in the upstairs apartment and it was really a wonderful space. Comfy and with great views and Ocean Sounds. The apartment was comfortable, clean and smartly decorated. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location. Room are nice with new trendy decor and bedding. The bathroom is tiny and was difficult to take a shower in without banging my elbows. And I could not work out how to turn the tv on.

Quiet, very clean and in a good location. Did not get the room we reserved, but was fine, the one we got instead did not have the kitchenette but did have a mini fridge which is all we really needed. Staff was totally hands off. Never met anyone from the property. Our paperwork was in our room when we arrived and we dropped it in a mail drop when finished. Would have liked some fresh cups for the room but it seemed it would have been a hassle.

The Pleasant Inn is a clean, centrally located, and no-frills "retro" and family-owned motel that is walkable to dozens of shops, restaurants, and other amenities. Due to its steep hilly location, guests with disabilities will have a difficult time getting around town, other than certain nearby stores and dining facing the bay that are on flat ground.

We loved our stay at Pleasant Inn! The location is the best- just a couple blocks from the water, with a terrific view of Morro rock and an easy stroll to downtown for breakfast. Our room was small but cute and clean, and the front desk was very friendly and responsive (helping us arrange to have a key left for us when we arrived late.) Would definitely stay again!
