Aloft by Marriott Orlando Downtown

It was a great place to stay and easy to get around Orlando. Staff was very friendly and enjoyed having the valet parking. Rooms were clean with a great view on the eight floor. What I didn’t like was the microwave was in the front lobby not in the room.

Hotel itself was nice but there is only valet parking at $25/night plus tip. The driveway to the parkkng is not clearly marked (at least at night) and is on a busy road e With no turn lane. Staff was friendly. Bathroom has a very heavy sliding door to separate shower/toilet from sink.

No self parking is the only turn off

I had an outstanding experience at the Aloft Hotel in Downtown Orlando. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The location is unbeatable, within walking distance to everything downtown, making it perfect for both business and leisure. The hotel itself has a vibrant, modern vibe, with stunning artwork from local artists displayed throughout the property (and available for purchase—a fantastic touch that supports the community). The on-site bar and restaurant made it easy to relax and enjoy great food and drinks without even leaving the hotel. I stayed here for business, but I’ll definitely be returning for recreation. The combination of style, comfort, and exceptional service makes Aloft my new go-to place in Downtown Orlando. Truly a great experience from start to finish!

Great one night stay! Everything was perfect! Be aware you need pay for valet parking. ($27) Can't get around this because there's no other place to park.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable and the bar was great. The bartender was lovely and attentive. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for one night for a concert. Coffee is complementary and they have nice snacks downstairs for purchase. Walking distance to Kia center. The bed sheets didn't seem cleaned, that’s the only thing.

The rooms are very clean and the hotel is very quiet.

The shower was not properly cleaned—there was hair left behind, possibly from a dog or a previous guest. The water pressure was also very low, making it hard to shower comfortably. I was given a $20 voucher for the inconvenience. On a positive note, the room itself was a good size.

My spouse and I stayed at this hotel for the weekend in Orlando. We have stayed at this location before and truly fell in love. We stayed in a corner suite that has been a favorite room of ours (no matter where we travel, the corner suite is in our hall of fame). However we were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. There were hand and mouth and other body prints on the windows. The upper head boards were dusty and other hand prints could be seen there. On Saturday evening, while applying my make up, a roach was walking across the bathroom counter. Also, the bathroom towels had frayed edges and were clearly worn. There were other signs of age in the room but that is understood because the property is not new. However it was obvious that housekeeping does not CLEAN the rooms and there clearly isn’t an eye for detail. We departed that stay a little saddened because we love the property but I had to be honest to give an opportunity for improvement.

The initial room we checked into had hair throughout the duvet and pillowcases. We immediately brought it to management attention, and they did give us another room.

Love the spacious room but the shower grout and corners were moldy.

My bed was dirty and they had to come back and changed the sheets. (Hairs and crumbs)

Great Hotel in Downtown Orlando. Room was very comfortable and clean.

The room appeared unclean. The bathroom walls had makeup smeared. The floor tiles on bathroom floor were dirty and corners full of dust. The sofa cushions were stained made it unwelcoming to sit. I’ve stayed in A Lofts before, the DT Orlando location wasn’t quite up to par. Mentioned it to the front desk. They apologized and comped me with gift card. Average stay. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Room wasn’t the most clean, room service took forever (even when not ordering anything hot) - one time they didn’t even bring it - and there was a water leak in my room so water started leaking from the ceiling!

Parking is a hassle & the rooms facing the highway are extremely loud, but the hotel is in a great location (for our needs). The downstairs area is like a cool bar, and they upgraded me to a huge suite.

My room was amazing in terms of size, layout, and view, but the entire hotel is next to busy streets and the interstate. It should have been built more like an airport hotel to keep out the noise. It definitely wasn’t, so it was pretty loud. Also, I specifically selected this hotel and room (King bed corner room) because it had a large table with two chairs to sit and collaborate on things instead of a desk. Sadly, the chairs were solid wood and very uncomfortable to sit at for more than a few minutes. Finally, I didn’t even think to check about breakfast options before booking. After all, their competitors like Hyatt Place and others in the same class all have really great breakfasts. Not here! The options were just a few microwaved items that were eerily similar to what you’d find in the frozen section of the grocery store. Not good at all, and not many options in the neighborhood. They did have good free coffee though. If they served a real breakfast and swapped out to better chairs for business travelers, I’d consider returning. Otherwise, I’m heading to a quieter hotel more suitable for business travelers that need a good work space.

one of my favorite architectural rehabilitations. I love the Executive headquarters finishes mixed with brutalist concrete and welcoming ALOFT additions to design. The views of the Phillips center are amazing. When I stay for music in Orlando, this is the place to be.

The hotel is in a great downtown Orlando location. The lobby was spacious and included a bar. The room was configured such that we had a view of the city from the bed. The bed was comfortable.

Perfect stay! Very well appointed rooms, love the floor to ceiling windows and the fastest check in ever. Very nice gym as well!

We stayed one night for a concert. Very close to Kia Center. Everything was great. Staff, location, cleanliness. Overall a very nice place to stay. Nice rate also. The room was gigantic!!!

Loved it but wish there were streaming services.

The pillows were a little small and the bed was a little Firmer than we like But overall I would highly recommend and would return.

I have absolutely nothing to base “my stay” off of because the hotel cancelled my reservation the day of and I had to make a last-minute reservation elsewhere for my family and I.

My overall experience was amazing and I loved the convenience this hotel gave me during my stay. My only con was the agent I checked in with, he was a bit rude and questioned me about why my card had not been charged prior to my check in. His exact words were “did you lock your card so we couldn’t charge you” granted I called the hotel a day or 2 prior to let them know of a situation with my bank and I was awaiting a new card (which was notated). Another thing that made my check in experience not so friendly was I confirmed my 4pm checkout due to me having a flight to catch the next day and he stated “you’re not even supposed to have a checkout that late so I’m not sure why they did that” again, I called the hotel a day or 2 before my arrival to let them know and received SUPERVISOR approval. Lillian and her supervisor on staff (when I called) were very helpful and flexible and I appreciate them. The guy at check in could be more personable and friendly. Overall my stay at this property was AMAZING and I will definitely be back!

Fist time staying at Aloft and was very impressed. Everyone from the valets to the front desk staff, bar staff and housekeeping were excellent and very accommodating to my needs. The location was great and I actually walked to the show I was in town for. Very modern decor and great drinks at the bar. Worth the money.

Best hotel in downtown Orlando

It took me 20+ minutes to locate the beeping sound in the room. Turns out the phone wasn’t plugged in and the battery was low. Was about to call for service. Also never received my wake up call in the morning.

Chris at the front desk was amazing.. friendly, funny, helpful, and efficient! I had trouble bc I booked through a third party and he made it so much easier. Definitely a valuable employee. I would love to have someone like him working in my small business!

Easy walk to the Kia Center! Aloft was well maintained, staff was very helpful and kind.

I had an issue with both a lost room service order I placed online using their QR code, as well as with valet they could not locate my key for like 20 minutes since it was not logged back in from a quick day trip over the weekend during my stay. Both issues required me having to help their staff with each issue. Not a good experience at all. This was my second time staying at this property and will never go back there again.

The front desk was so nice and very welcoming. The bartender was really nice. The hotel was in great condition. Our room was fabulous.

Had a 1 night stay at the Aloft in downtown Orlando. It was clean and walkable to restaurants and Amway Center.

Visiting for one night for a show at Dr Phillips Center. Excellent location! Walk to the venue. Clean, safe and well staffed.

Great location.

The hotel staff were super friendly. The rooms were clean and exactly as described. The only issue we had when we arrived was where to park however we learned that the parking options are either valet or a nearby parking garage. We only stayed one night as we came for a Magic vs Sixers game at the Kia Center which was right down the street. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the downtown Orlando area.

Great location to visit events and concerts.

I gave this property 4 stars because it was very hard to locate this Hotel. No building numbers, signage was recessed in from the street. We must have gone by it 3 times and we found it by accident. Other than this it was a great hotel and we will be planning on staying here again.

Loved this property! Great bar and staff during my entire stay.

Friendly staff, easy check in/out. Super convenient to Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center. Nice bar area and coffee bar/snack/convenience food area. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Not many extra bath amenities (vanity kit)). Overall, great stay.

It was pleasant, great staff and clean. I wish they had more options for food and snacks. But overall, was good, and will stay again if I go to another event in the Kia Center.

We loved it! My daughter and I stayed here to attend the Ateez concert. The driveway to the entrance of the hotel can be a bit tricky. I had to circle a couple of times because it looks like you're driving into an alley. The hotel has valet parking which was quite nice. The attendants park and get your car. The hotel uses an app that lets the parking attendants know when you are on your way down to the lobby. That way they can have your car ready for you. The parking attendants bring your luggage into the hotel, which I did not expect, and it was quite welcomed. In the lobby, they were playing Ateez which was fitting since the first concert was that evening. They also offered a complementary jalapeño margarita upon check-in. I booked the corner room, and it looked just like the picture. Very spacious and great views! It was... WOW! I travel a lot and one of the options that is important for me is to have a breakfast option in a hotel. What's listed on the Hotels.com website is a little misleading. It says, "Self-serve for a fee". Maybe I misinterpreted it, but I was expecting a hot meal, and it was actually breakfast of prepackaged muffins and breakfast sandwiches from the mini market. That was disappointing, but there was a breakfast cafe a few minutes walking distance and we went there instead. Despite the breakfast thing, I would stay here again. It's a great hotel.

I love absolutely everything about this hotel! Have stayed here many times when going to the theater at the Dr Phillips center, which is right across the street. My only comment would be is you cannot get food after 10 PM. Coming back from the theater very hungry And had to settle with trail mix. That was very disappointing. I think they could have a limited menu for the theater guest as I know they get many here.
