Very nice, clean, and unique property in an amazing location right on Puerto Los Cabos. The hotel has its own secluded beach club across the marina with complimentary pontoon boat transport across (2 min ride). They also have multiple pools and hot tub. The roof top pool has a gorgeous view. The pool and beach club both have drinks and food. The drinks and food are both high quality and tasty.

If you want R&R this is the place to go. The staff were pervasively exceptional, food delicious and ambience wonderful. Access to the private beach by way of pontoon boat was fun , the large rooftop pool had a breathtaking view highlighted by the infinity pool and plenty of lounging spots in and out of the sun. The aesthetic of the hotel was gorgeous!

This was a great hotel away from the heavy tourist areas. An extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only issue we had was after checking in. They then informed us that the rooftop was closed for construction. The rooftop was one of the main reasons of booking this hotel. They said it could be opened in the next day or two. Which on our fifth day it did open, but it was just the cabanas and part of the bar. There was no pool, hot tub or food access. It would’ve been nice to be told ahead of time about the roof. Also on their website it said they had a shuttle to and from the airport, we emailed them but never heard back and when we called they said that service was no longer available.

Hotel di design davvero bello. Infinity pool su rooftop meravigliosa. Ha anche una spiaggia dove si può fare il bagno (caratteristica non comune nella zona). Camera molto carina e con tutti i comfort (bellissima vista). Ha nche un'altra piscina "Tranquilla"

This hotel is beautiful and unique. Here's the thing they required excessive $1k deposit at check in and no outside food or drink but hotel food and drink is very pricey with 31% fees on top of all items. Pool closes too early at 8pm.

This was a beautiful property. Food was great. The staff was wonderful. The only thing I did not like was the pools were not heated. I should have paid attention when booking. Other than that, it was great!

Hotel was a mess due to rain. Staff did nt clean anything after the rain. Beach club did not reopen even though it was clear. No one cleaned anything. Tv did not work, air conditikning dud not work, gym was very dirty with no staff onsite. Property offerred no concessions.

Very happy with the service - top notch. That’s the best part about the hotel. The hotel art looks great, and the lobby furniture is quite nice. The room interiors are slightly worn and the beds weren’t amazing, but comfortable enough for a difficult sleeper. Overall, looks like a good modern place for 30-40 somethings.

Area is very secluded, kind of inconvenient, since it’s not in San Jose del Cabo so you would have to take uber/taxi to go anywhere. They don’t allow outside food, which sucks cus they have very limited options and it’s wayyyy too expensive. I asked for a cup of ice water when I dined in their hotel restaurant, and they served me a glass bottled water. When the check came, the water was $11USD! I cried when I went back to my room. $11 IS RIDICULOUS! I wish they were more upfront about it, since I did see on their menu that they had normal priced water too. Room was okay. Great pillows. Had weird tape on the window and small stains on the curtains. I guess I dropped a bit of food on the floor in my room and in an hour, the floor was flooded with ants!! The elevator also broke down one day as well. The pool is meh, had an oil film in the water. The best thing though, was that all the staff was super nice!

El hotel muy bonito, cada que pasaba por el pasillo hacía el cuarto encontraba un arte, algo nuevo que observar. El personal amable, solo les falta un poco más de capacitación al Concierge. Música genial especial en la playa. Muy limpio. Por cierto, comida deliciosa. Muy exclusivo, tanto para turistas nacionales y extranjeros. Partes no tan buena. Hubo un problema con la regadera de mi cuarto y se fue el agua unos pocos segundos. Dos, el área donde está el hotel es en la marina, precioso. Sin embargo fui a un sushi con mi esposa el domingo alrededor de las 8.00 pm y regresaba gente de la marina pública que se encuentra cerca y aunque es una distancia relativamente cerca, grupos de borrachos piropeaban a mi esposa y otra persona de otro grupo me insultó cantándome una pelea. Parecían tomados. Dentro de las instalaciones perfecto, no me sentí inseguro ninguna vez. Otra cosa, la elíptica del gym se resbalaba la correa a resistencia alta, sugiero mantenimiento.

The property is used for weddings therefore the night we arrive the special area on the roof and beach were closed to us. The next day we had no maid service in the room. They did check it but didn’t replace coffe or cups or towels or make beds. They saw the state of it but did not clean it! We are very disappointed c

The room was gorgeous with a STUNNING view of ocean and the beach club, the staff was very kind - always had bottled water and sweet treats waiting for me in my room whenever I came back from an excursion. They had 2 pools, the rooftop pool was amazing, with a heated pool and bar/restaurant - with spectacular views of docks, boats, beach and more. Thank you so much for making my first trip to Mexico wonderful!

I really enjoyed my stay at this boutique. I upgraded from a ocean view room to terrace ocean view and the staff upgraded me as a complimentary to a terrace ocean view room with a jacuzzi. The staff was professional and friendly. The food was a lil up in price but well worth it, very tasty and freshly made. The views are breathtaking, and the private beach is magnificent. If you’re looking to relax with great views of the oceans, this is the place.

I was quite disappointed with my room . There was loud construction happening and nobody warned me . Also my room was near a busy loud hallway. When I checked in I was not told about the property and restaurant facilities. To be honest I did not feel that welcome there and this place is overrated.

Amazing eclectic impeccable property. Prices for drinks were a little high even by Dallas standards, but overall loved the property. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep in and your room is close to the marina side…they start ‘loudly’ loading the boats around 5am…no escaping that noise

Wow, our stay at El Ganzo was amazing. The property is beautiful, the art, decor and views are even better in person. They have everything you need on site, including some of the best food I’ve had in Mexico. Highlights include the incredible food at the pool and the restaurant. Great easy beach access with shady loungers and a swimmable beach. The service at the pool was also great, shout out to Montserrat she was exceptional. Staying over in San Jose is a slower more vibey area and we look forward to our return trip!!

Second time staying here. Great property and the staff there is five star. The rooms are great and the Infinity pool with a swim up bar on the rooftop is wonderful. Two minute ferry ride over to the beach an additional leisurely option for suntanning. George’s restaurant is just a couple minute walk away and Flora Farms and acre restaurants are short taxi ride. Highly highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing service at this wonderful hotel! Every single staff member I encountered during my week at El Ganzo was incredibly kind, patient, helpful, and cheerful! I've stayed at hundreds of hotels over the years; I've never experienced such gentle and genuine hospitality and professionalism. The original art throughout the hotel is inspiring, as are the amazing views. I was so happy that there were many quiet spots to relax. And I loved watching the fishermen get ready to head out for the day from my terrace. I hope to return to El Ganzo and will encourage others to visit as well!

Una estancia que parecía muy agradable terminó en una nota pésima de hostigamiento por parte de la gerente del Hotel Marbel. Como No tiene buen control sobre su proceso de checkin no sabían que me habían dado permiso de salir 30 min más tarde. Me mandó hasta seguridad por mi!!!!!! El baño olía a cañería y no había agua caliente. Tampoco servía el A/C, aunque por la fecha con el ventilador fue suficiente. Algo que estuve dispuesta a dejar pasar porque el servicio del restaurante fue Espectacular y fueron los más amables. La cama estaba cómoda y todo parecía limpio. Muy mala nota de parte de quien administra el hotel, Marbel, con una actitud totalmente arrogante y con una cara de muy pocos amigos sin empatía alguna y diciéndome que yo tenía que recibir con felicidad y buen humor su mal trato! La estancia vale la pena por la gente del restaurante.

What a surprise and delight! Although not located in the "resort area", it offered everything we wanted and more. Staff were attentive and welcoming (especially Israel), rooftop pool was beautiful, beach club access was incredible (and fun to have a swimmable experience), and food/drinks were top notch. You're a quick Uber from central area as well as Flora Farms and Acre for a nice dinner out. Would recommend and happily go back!

My wife and I loved this place. Extremely friendly and helpful staff from the moment we arrived. The rooftop pool had a beautiful vista of the ocean and surrounding area. The private beach with Cabanas and lounge chairs with umbrellas was such an incredible perk. So relaxing and comfortable. Hotel El Ganzo exceeded or expectations in every way…we will definitely come back ..highly recommended !!!

We loved our stay at Hotel El Ganzo, the moment we arrived we were greeted with immaculate service from the friendly staff. Ronaldo provided fresh lemonade at check-in and carried our bags to our room for us while telling us about the grounds and hours on the way. The rooftop pool was the main reason for booking and it exceeded our expectations, endless lounging spots and attentive servers. We spent our mornings in the fitness centre and at the ground-level lap pool and it was much more quaint and peaceful. There isn’t much outside the grounds other than the marina loop which leads to the beach club on foot, it was a trek but it was lovely- had I known about it sooner we would have biked around it daily! I would suggest Uber as transportation as it was the cheapest and quickest option downtown rather than a taxi from the hotel. It’s a great little quiet spot. AC in your room, great room views. The food at the restaurant is good too. Pool has odd hours and every bill already has added tip. It’s a bit further away from stuff but to me that was a plus. There’s walkable liquor store and places to eat. There’s guest passes for locals which I thought was a cool thing cause everyone I met that used it or worked there were chill. Def would come back!

Liked that it was in Cabo San José which is a slower paced more relaxed area. Service was excellent by all staff members. Restaurant serves high quality meal options. Not any other restaurants nearby to walk to so you are captive at the hotel unless you take Ubers out to other places. Meal prices were $50 to 100 plus for two people for lunch and dinner with no drinks or one each. Beach Club is short boat ride they provide to a nice calm and clean private beach. They also sell day passes to non hotel guests so sometimes there are no lounge chairs for hotel guests. They don’t allow you bring water or anything at the beach club and prices are high for food, water or drinks there.

The hotel is situated at the tip of the San Jose del Cabo marina , with amazing views of the ocean , wetlands and the coming and going of the boats docked in the marina . The staff is amazing and very helpful . The food is fresh and tasty . Would definitely come back .

The beach club was exceptional with one of the only swimmable beaches around. The area surrounding the hotel was very poor and not what you would expect for a hotel of this caliber. Things you should be aware of are: the food was only OK and very expensive, the drinks were expensive, the hotel puts a large hold on your credit card for potential damages you make to your room and look at all of your receipts to make sure that only your food and drink charges are placed on your room. Space if you want a good Ross breakfast for a reasonable price, go across the street to George’s restaurant.

We were not super impressed pulling up, it’s a quiet area with not much going on around it and when we got to the room, it was OK. The view was awesome, but the room was average for the price. But as we settled in and had food at the restaurant, downstairs with the amazing view, and the food, being really good, we started liking the place more. Then we saw the rooftop, and that was five star. Amazing! They don’t heat the pool, which is a little disappointing, but there’s a hot tub which is great. The food is really good, although not much of a selection. We did go to get sushi at spicy tuna just a very short walk up the street and we went across the street to a restaurant called George’s and they had a really nice Christmas dinner special. You take a little ferry over to the beach and that was a really nice area also. All the beach beds and beds by the pool are all included and don’t cost extra to Joos and that was really nice. If you wanna quiet, relaxing vacation, this is a great place. And to get an Uber to downtown San Jose Cabo is only like $10 US so super easy.

Wow, our stay at El Ganzo was amazing. The property is beautiful, the art, decor and views are even better in person. They have everything you need on site, including some of the best food I’ve had in Mexico. Highlights include the incredible food at the pool and the restaurant. Great easy beach access with shady loungers and a swimmable beach. The service at the pool was also great, shout out to Montserrat she was exceptional. Staying over in San Jose is a slower more vibey area and we look forward to our return trip!!

Such a cute chic adults only location. Lots of art to see around the property... they have live music often (we saw flamenco one night). Yoga classes. Food is a bit over priced and not the best I ate on vacation... but it's good to have the option on the property (we had breakfast and dinner there). They are able to get you to their beach club/swimmable beach... that's a nice plus, didn't realize this before we booked. Also it's not too far from SJD. Bed, pillow, comforter were the BEST!

Area is very secluded, kind of inconvenient, since it’s not in San Jose del Cabo so you would have to take uber/taxi to go anywhere. They don’t allow outside food, which sucks cus they have very limited options and it’s wayyyy too expensive. I asked for a cup of ice water when I dined in their hotel restaurant, and they served me a glass bottled water. When the check came, the water was $11USD! I cried when I went back to my room. $11 IS RIDICULOUS! I wish they were more upfront about it, since I did see on their menu that they had normal priced water too. Room was okay. Great pillows. Had weird tape on the window and small stains on the curtains. I guess I dropped a bit of food on the floor in my room and in an hour, the floor was flooded with ants!! The elevator also broke down one day as well. The pool is meh, had an oil film in the water. The best thing though, was that all the staff was super nice!

The infinity pool & hot tub were exquisite, as was the beach. The marina location is ideal for a relaxing getaway, far from the city crowds. The yellowtail fish @ the restaurant was excellent; however, meal portions are very small. $$$$$. We preferred dining @ the walkable local restaurants.

Best pool view you’re going to find. Semi private beach is better than any in Cabo. In a cove so calm and warm. A real treat. Hotel has art on every wall, literally. Visually you will never get bored. Expensive to eat there but food is good and other food options within walking distance. Highly recommend.
