Hotel Ismael Very nice location, across from a park and close proximity to local points of interest. The room was well appointed with a refrigerator, comfortable bed, hot shower and a complimentary bottle of wine. We arrived early (like 8:00am) and our room was not ready but Diego 1 (there were two Diegos so the other was Diego 2 - at their request) asked if we wanted to have breakfast which was a buffet which was pretty well stocked with eggs, bacon/ sausage and a variety of fruits, pastries, breads, meats and cheese. We found out you could order custom eggs, but we were happy with what was available - they also had a panini machine which I used once and was quite pleased. The staff was helpful and most spoke enough English to get by. The other positive part about the location was its proximity to Latarria which is an artsy area with a lot of street vendors and restaurants. We found many delightful restaurants within walking distance. The roof pool was a nice feature but was small with limited seating. All in all it was a great hotel, nice and friendly staff and good value for money.

Although located in a convenient location with walking distance to central part of the city, the rooms were pretty small, and quite dirty carpet. The elevator most of the time had garbage smell. However, the front desk staff were very helpful, the breakfast was excellent.

Our carpet and bathroom floor were not cleaned the whole time we were there (3 nights). Also the used coffee cups and bathroom glass were never replaced. The French balcony door wouldn’t totally close so lots of noise at night (we were facing the front). And the air conditioner went out and was never properly fixed

Muito bom a experiência no hotel. Recepção na chegada bem organizada. Café da manhã todos nós primeiros dias estava completo, após 2 dias faltou pão de queijo e no penúltimo dia faltou ovos. Quarto muito bom, com cama confortável. Banheiro limpo, com toalhas cheirosas, somente a porta do box que não parava fechada. Localização boa com vários restaurantes perto e uma linda praça na frente.

We stayed here recently for one night after our cruise and found it the perfect spot to enjoy a day in Santiago. It was close to some great restaurants, and an easy walk to the Hop On Hop Off bus stop near the funicular. Modern, clean rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. We are light breakfast eaters, so it was great for us, but if you would like a hearty breakfast, may not be something you like. They also arranged our cab to the airport at the end of the day and had no problem storing our bags for our day of exploring.

Would definitely stay here again. Staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Too bad we were there only 1 night and didn't have time to try the free bottle of wine. Hotel is in the best location possible. Everything was within a short walk and the street with several restaurants was only a 2 minute walk away.

Très bien situé dans un quartier à la mode. Le déjeuner était copieux et le café très bon. La chambre est spacieuse avec une grande douche. Il y a ou beaucoup de bruit la première nuit du au party de la chambre voisine, la rue en arrière de l’hôtel est pas mal bruyante aussi.

Nous avons été surclassé (d’une chambre supérieure, on nous a donné une suite) sans supplément avec vue sur le parc Forestal. La suite était vraiment super, spacieuse, très bien équipée avec un lit immense ! Le petit déjeuner buffet est parfait avec des produits frais et variés. Le personnel est aux petits soins.
Nous avons été surclassé (d’une chambre supérieure, on nous a donné une suite) sans supplément avec vue sur le parc Forestal. Fiquei num quarto no 4º andar e dava para ouvir os carros passando na rua (apesar de eu ter pedido em quarto silencioso e em andar alto). De sábado para domingo, houve muito barulho de música durante a madrugada, atrapalhando o sono.

We really enjoyed this location. The hotel was beautiful, safe and had a great breakfast. The website indicated there was an airport shuttle. I made numerous attempts to contact the hotel by email, phone, text and WhatsApp and never got a response to anything. We arranged our own transportation. Check-in took an inordinate amount of time. The bathroom/shower had smoked glass walls which did not afford privacy. I was there with my adult daughter and we personally didn’t like this feature.

Staff were extremely helpful especially at the front desk, in the dining area and the night management staff . The location of this hotel to the sites, restaurants and park was amazing. Recommended highly with location for scenic walking in every direction.

The black painted walls are depressing. The carpets are old and filthy. The beds are good. The front desk service was uncertain with regard to whether I paid ahead of time or not.

Hotel Ismael Very nice location, across from a park and close proximity to local points of interest. The room was well appointed with a refrigerator, comfortable bed, hot shower and a complimentary bottle of wine. We arrived early (like 8:00am) and our room was not ready but Diego 1 (there were two Diegos so the other was Diego 2 - at their request) asked if we wanted to have breakfast which was a buffet which was pretty well stocked with eggs, bacon/ sausage and a variety of fruits, pastries, breads, meats and cheese. We found out you could order custom eggs, but we were happy with what was available - they also had a panini machine which I used once and was quite pleased. The staff was helpful and most spoke enough English to get by. The other positive part about the location was its proximity to Latarria which is an artsy area with a lot of street vendors and restaurants. We found many delightful restaurants within walking distance. The roof pool was a nice feature but was small with limited seating. All in all it was a great hotel, nice and friendly staff and good value for money.

el personal muy amable y dispuesto a solucionar cualquier inconveniente. En gral el hotel bueno, el desayuno muy acotado, poca variedad de frutas, bolleria, etc. muy básico. La habitación correcta.No ha vasos ni abridor de botellas y si bien se pueden retirar del restorán, hay que ir a buscarlos a diario. No costaría nada que los incluyeran en la habitación y sería más cómodo. La ubicación es buena.

We stayed here for four nights two months ago at the start of our winter escape to summer and we returned for a night before our flight home. We were greeted like old friends and, once again, enjoyed the rooftop terrace, the great breakfast and the lovely surroundings, touring several nearby sights that we particularly enjoyed or missed the last time. The staff is terrific and we will certainly return.

It was really great there. Helpful staff, clean, modern, nice balcony and fresh air. Only thing was the power was out for about 3 hours from the city so was a bit cold in winter. The breakfast was fantastic too.

Hotel is in an excellent area of Santiago. Safe with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Rooftop deck is a nice place to sit and relax. Staff was excellent! The breakfast included was delicious with lots of options. Would definitely recommend.
