The hotel was so clean and the staff was so pleasant. I truly enjoyed the breakfast and it was delicious. I would definitely book again. Only issues we didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator, plus it needs to be a few more spaces for parking, definitely handicapped

I had a wonderful experience at the Hampton Inn, except for the overflow parking. I do not believe there were enough parking spots around the hotel or for the hotel to accommodate all the guest.

This property is beautifully maintained. It is older, executive style, but exceptionally maintained and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The free hot breakfast was much better than I anticipated. The pool area was small but, again, very well maintained. I would highly recommend and would stay there again.

Property is a beautiful 1926 hotel with charm and character located in a very accessible area. Parking can be a little difficult if arriving late, but our room was gorgeous and very spacious. Because it's a business type hotel, Check In is later than usual, at least 3pm and most likely after 4pm. Make arrangements and plan ahead as you will have no room before 3pm.

Check-in was great and lobby looked pretty good. Went to check out the breakfast area for the next day and it was a mess and it was in the afternoon. Checked our room out and it was ok, the carpet is fraying, bed fine. That evening we encountered the shower dripping all night long and the next morning when in the shower looked like pink mildew. We have stayed here 2 times before and we considered it a treat to be here so needless to say we were VERY disappointed this time. We told the check out person and they simply said we will address it with maintenance.

We enjoyed our weekend. The hotel is in a great location next to River walk and historical buildings. We were traveling with my mom, who is in an electric wheelchair and has many needs. I emailed the hotel beforehand and explicitly mentioned the need for the pool hoist. My mom needs to swim. She cannot walk, but swimming is how she stays viable. Alas, the pool hoist was not functioning. The pull-out bed in our room was the width on a kindergarten nap mat. The staff were excellent and responsive to my concerns, but no solutions manifested. I emailed beforehand regarding our need for the pool hoist. Why didn't maintenance check its condition before our arrival? For over $300 a night, I expected more. Nothing was offered to make-up for the broken pool hoist or the horrible mattress. The roll-out mattress they brought us was not big enough to stack on top of the sofa bed mattress. The coffee and breakfast were great. The hotel is beautiful, but there was two spots of mold on the ceiling of our room.

The building looks nice from the outside and in the lobby, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The room upon entering smell very dirty musty, the windows were extremely dirty, and the curtains had like mildew spots on them. The a/c was extremely loud. But the worst was the outside lights affixed to the building (bright LED’s!) we closed the blackout curtains, and the bright lights still came through the top and bottom of the curtains! we tried to cover the bottom with blankets, but the top shown through like it was daylight out. The beds were really hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast and the staff were very good in a location convenient, but I likely will not stay there again. Felt old and dirty in the room. Address the dirty windows (green mold too) and look close at the curtains they have mildew stains!

Very friendly staff, convenient location, nice corner room on the 7th floor. The breakfast buffet was ok - nothing fancy but good selection. The blanket was very strange, and I had to fight with it all night... (like a white comforter inside a big envelope - which became undone during the night). But great room overall!

The hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurants within walking and many more a short drive. The river walk along the waterfront is nearby. Breakfast is good, always fresh and hot with the usual offerings. Comfort is decent, nice beds, desk, and in our suite, a small kitchenette. If you like a good pillow, bring your own. The pillows are nothing more than a case with a flattened foam insert that is so old the foam is now small golf ball sized pieces that are hard and bite into your face and head while sleeping. We spoke to the general manager who said he would send up new pillows but they never arrived. The next day he said they were sent up the night before but we were out and did not get them. Not sure why they did not leave us a message to pick them up. We ended up stuffing 2 pillows in one case giving us a large lump of hardened foam balls but at least raised our heads off the bed. Our first night we walked around the room in socks and the next day noticed they were filthy from the dirty tile floors and carpet so we wore shoes the rest of our stay. Stay away from the 2nd floor rooms if you enjoy a dark room while sleeping. The hotel has 3 spot lights under every window to light up the facade at night which shine in your room so brightly you can almost read a book. We asked to be moved and were given a much better room higher up. I stay a Hampton Inns many times during the year and have always been pleased, this one left a little to be desired.

This is a nice historic hotel. The lobby area is beautiful. We enjoyed hot breakfast and coffee. The bathroom showers are in need of an upgrade. The faucet in our room was barely hanging on. So when pulling up to open the shower, you need to be careful to hold down the faucet. Wifi was very slow and losing connection often. We asked to restart the router several times.

Not good - short Toilet height for elderly. Location of shampoo dispenser in shower on wrong wall and too high. Bed mattress too hard. Only one chair in room. No full-length mirror, No refrigerator, No microwave.

The first room we were in was on the second floor. Around 5am the lobby music would start and the speaker was below our room (219) and it was loud. They turned it off when we asked. The light shining on the building is like having sunlight all night. When we switched rooms (608) those problems went away. However the toilet paper was on a wall that you needed long arms to reach. The staff was very friendly, it’s just a shame that they must know these issues exist and don’t fix them. I can’t be the first to have mentioned them

Check in process was not great. Due to a local parade; they had all the entrances locked. If you were already a guest and had your key you can enter the building, but if you were checking in you had to use a phone on the outer doors to call the front desk. “Dial zero for operator”. This process didn’t work either. I’ve never ran into this problem at any other hotels that my family has stayed at.

Check in service was very good. We had a fire alarm during the night which we had to get out of the hotel fast with only our pjs. It was a very scary experience. While we were going outside due to the alarms we didn’t see any one that worked at the hotel to help us go where we needed too. I have a disability and was very hard to get down 5 flights of stairs

Great hot breakfast, walking distance from the water, and 24 hr coffee were some of the highlights. Also, the charger for my cell phone wasn’t working and the front desk staff were very gracious with allowing me to borrow the one at reception each day to recharge. Clearly a well managed property.

We booked a standard king room which by description and pictures included a sofa and refrigerator. We paid for something we didn’t get. We were in a rush and decided not to worry about it. But, I did show to front desk and he said he’d have a manager contact me. Never did. I then noticed toilet wouldn’t flush and water kept running. At this point I did request a room change. His only solution was to have us wait for maintenance and they would fix it. I decided to decline and figured out how to weight down stopper each time so we could shower and meet our deadline for our visit. We felt we were underserved for the price we paid and staff is not helpful when they just state that’s “our policy”. I don’t think advertising a room and getting it booked and switching is a good policy. I’ve never had a problem switching rooms when we enter it’s not to satisfaction and things are not working. Most Hampton inns are awesome. This one was not.

We enjoyed the Hampton Inn in the downtown Historic district. Our room had a balcony and view of the water We wanted to be close to the museums and could walk from the Hotel to the museum. The great views from our room and the morning breakfast was a special plus plus. I will definitely book there again.

We were very pleased with our stay at Hampton Inn in downtown Bradenton. The hotel was very nice and the staff pleasant. We had the included breakfast both mornings we were there and both times were happy with the choices available. One evening we walked over to the Pier for dinner and enjoyed that also. An easy walk. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The property has been completely renovated. It’s a 100 yr old building with lots of charm. Great location. Close to the river walk (dolphins) and restaurants. The beach, museums, fort De Soto just minutes away by car.

This appears to be an historic building and it's very nicely restored. Attractive public spaces. Nice bathroom. Comfy bed. Breakfast is standard free hotel fare but the breakfast room is much too small and it was usually impossible to get a table. I had to sit in the lobby.
