The only thing was that the pool was closed due to issues. Clean and the staff were friendly. They could use bigger TVs in the room n upgrade the shelfs. Other then that we enjoyed are stay n i love the breakfast in the morning

The place is nice the staff was good . Marco was excellent. I was there with my 3 children and their family . Had 3 suites 9 children . The pool was not good the chlorine was so strong it was hard to breathe after a while in the water eyes were burning . No life gaurds which is fine we were there the whole time with the kids but they had to have a staff member in at all times with us and when they had no one we had to leave not cool . The morning we were swimming last day before check out the kids just got in the water and the fire alarm went off again after going off throughout the night waking up the kids. I asked the manager if there was a real fire he said no but leave the pool area nit cool we went home .

Weird ordance they just passed where staff has to watch you and your family in the pool. Convinced they lowered the temperature of the pool as well. Other than that nice town nice stay

Very pleasant hotel, comfortable, clean, great staff, etc. The breakfast was exceptionally good with many items. The only negative thing about the property was the slowness of the elevator. I would definitely stay there again if I was coming up to that area.

The staff was friendly and always had smiles on their face. The front desk women made our check in welcoming and efficient. She was great. We had 5 adults and 2 kids. The pool was clean and perfect temp. The hotel was also clean. The elevator is so slow with only 1 but it did us good to take the stairs. The breakfast was also good but a little over cooked but the cinnamon rolls were worth the drive from Massachusetts!

Really well-run motel. Pristine in cleanliness, I loved the gym, friendly staff, lots of parking close by the rooms. Only demerit: Pool down for maintenance with no plan for reopening -- I was disappointed having packed my suit!

From check in til we checked out there was a strong smell of cigarettes even though it’s a smoke free hotel. In the middle of the night there was also someone pulling at the door handle. Was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience.

Room had bad unidentifiable smell. Perhaps an old pet smell though the room was on 3rd floor. And the drain to the tub did not close properly. And comforter smelled bad.

Only issue with this property is their televisions are not smart TV and does not have NetFlix or other streaming services that the guest can log in with the guest account. No options. Most hotels allow you to watch these services if you have an account for those services , this hotel has very old tv and does not have the option

Even though overall the property was pleasing and clean my dissatisfaction was with the sleeping accommodations. The room I got which was the last one available stated it sleeps 4. It turns out the sleeper in the room was so hard. I could feel every wood paneling on it. The very thin padding that was used as a mattress was no help. Needless to say I couldn’t sleep. I woke up with severe back pain. I’m glad I only had one night there.

The property was clean and in a safe area. It a historic area a walkable view of The Hudson River. There is also a site ferry. The route to the hotel is very scenic. Good continental breakfast. I didn't like that the room was very dark. The lighting needs to be upgraded.

Everything was super clean, room was great and staff was friendly and so helpful! We got a room with a jetted tub and my only complaint was the jets really didn’t work that great and only one jet worked well. Other then that we had a great stay and would stay again.

The front desk staff was wonderful. Offered to hold our bags when we were too early for check in. Quickly had cab company contact available to give us at 4am (we lost track of time) that thankfully got us back! Uber and Lyft were not available. We would have been stranded! Could not have had a more pleasant, helpful staff.

Most of Staff is very nice and professional besides Operational Manager was very rude and def no customer skills. Guests set off the fire alarm and we had to evacuate at 11pm with little kids .. operational manager was not even aware of this incident and was very very abrasive when we asked for one hour of late check out . We never expected this kind of rudeness from the manager …

We arrived very late after a long day on the road and numerous lengthy delays. The lovely lady at reception welcomed us with a smile. I loved my room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The a/c made minimal noise. The noise from the nearby train line was much quieter than expected. Wi-fi worked well. The breakfast choices were plentiful and abundant. The area was clean, bright and welcoming. Parking spaces were sufficient. Unfortunately I was only staying for 1 night, I would have liked to explore the area more.

The location is quiet and is only a 40 minute drive to NYC. The train station is close to the hotel (3 minute drive) and will take you to NYC cheaper than parking. The hotel is clean and the staff is accommodating. The breakfast was good (not perfect but did the job). This is a great place to stay and a good location to reach places like NYC, Bronx zoo, Yankees Stadium, and Legoland New York.

It was such a great location to town and Bear mountain. The hotel is across the street from riverfront park. Great area to walk and view nature. Which was my goal for the weekend. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were so accommodating. The complimentary breakfast had lots of different options no matter your preference Highly recommend this hotel.

Overall my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Peekskill, NY was very pleasant. Front desk staff was friendly and check-in was quick. The room was nicely decorated and bathroom looked newly renovated. The bed was very comfortable and room was quiet all night. I found the lights dim and inadequate, with all lights on room seemed dark. The breakfast is below standard for similar hotels but appreciated hot coffee/tea all day.

The continental breakfast was awesome, way better than the Hilton we stayed at the nght before. Service was excellent, highly recomend! There is a great walking path along the Hudson River that's across the street from the hotel, beautiful!

When I booked on lline, the property was listed as having a restaurant and it did not have one. I always try to book a hotel with a restaurant due to the fact we don't like night driving to find a restaurant after we are done with our activity. SO I was very disappointed in this. I brought it to the attention of the people at check in (who were very nice) and they were going to bring it to attention of manager.

We felt the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Very impressed with the jacuzzi tub. The breakfast buffet had lots of options, including fresh pancakes, eggs, sausage, and potatoes.
