Although the place is quite small it’s comfortable especially if you’re intending to move about the city and use as just a place to rest your head. Lots of local shops to grab a bite and it’s basically at the footsteps of the Basilica. It very nice. And for a couple who don’t speak French the service was really helpful in helping us by speaking English. It was very nice and I would definitely stay again.

I stayed in few other hostels before I arrived to Le Village and Le Village is definitely the place to be in Paris. The location is excellent, right next to Montmartre cathedral. I booked for two nights but ended up extending my stay for few more nights! The guys can communicate perfectly in English, Spanish and of course French. Also, there is a kitchen that can be used by the guests, a rare facility to find in a hostel in Paris. Thank you Eloise, Juan & Austin! You guys are the life of Le Village Montmartre. And of course a special thank you to Alex, he’s the tres happy kid of the hostel, always smiling and making others smile. Merci a tous pour votre hospitalite.

Vi hade en väldigt bra 3-dagars vistelse i Paris och på Le Village. Vi hade ett fint dubbelrum. Hotellet har en underbar terrass med utsikt mot Sacre Coeur. Frukosten som ingick var enkel men helt ok. Läget är perfekt nära metron och resten av Montmartre. Vi kan rekommendera hotellet och återkommer gärna!

The property is nowhere close to what is in the picture. We chose this place because the picture showed nice and clean room. We ignored the other reviews thinking maybe they are having a bad day. As we are checking in, we saw individuals weaking in with backpacks and asking for their keys. Sounded normal but that should have been our first clue to run. Room was outside literally on the street. To add more, there were couple outside the door on the street DOING IT. Room is nothing like the pictures. HORIBLE. Heather not working. No TV. Old furniture. Smells. Make sure you buy refundable reservation

For a hostel I would say this is top notch…very clean and organized room for 4 persons with a cozy and relaxing balcony with a view of Sacre Coeur…Anais and Karl are both wonderful my check in and out was quick. They even helped me get a taxi on short notice upon my check out. Will definitely come back!!

The staff here are wonderful! Very friendly, helpful and multilingual made my stay easy and very pleasant! Staff members were able to assist me with any questions I had, especially regarding directions. They were able to tell me the best, fastest, and cheapest way to get to where I wanted to go. My favourite part of this property was the patio on the first floor. It has a view of the Sacre Cœur, comfortable couches, tables, and a railing lined with green plants. A gorgeous spot to have breakfast or a smoke break! The room I stayed in was beautiful, with double door windows that opened to a street view below. The shower worked perfectly and I enjoyed the two different shower heads. The only things I could have used in my room was a mini-fridge and potentially a small tv, although I did not mind the lack of television. These two things were not significant enough to hinder the wonderful experience of this hotel, only suggestions. The one negative I experienced is that the room walls and floors were quite thin. Noise traveled a lot from the stairwell and neighbouring rooms. If I were to come back to this area of Paris, I would definitely stay at this property again! It is a very safe and good place to stay as a female solo traveler.

Friendly and professional staff members, great location, and worth the price (I got the breakfast option). Breakfast was good as well. The rooms themselves are ok, but the beds could definitely be more solid and more confortable. Lockers could be a bit bigger as well. Everything in the bathroom was working well and it was clean. Overall it's a great place, but the rooms could benefit from a few upgrades

O quarto era bem limpo e confortável e a maioria dos funcionários era bastante acolhedora. Assim que chegamos o elevador estava quebrado e tivemos que subir 5 lances de escada com 3 malas muito pesadas, foi um pesadelo. Durante a minha estadia de 4 dias, o elevador quebrou 3x, nos fazendo subir e descer os 5 lances de escada. Isso foi bastante incomodo porque pagamos por um hotel com elevador justamente para não ter esse tipo de problema. O ponto positivo do hotel é a localização (tem 2 estações de metro bem próximas) e a vista.

O hotel esta do lado da basilica de sacre couer, um bairro super legal cheio de restaurantes franceses e monumentos icônicos. Porem, é bem afastado das outras atrações principais como a torre e louvre, vc vai levar em media de 25 a 35 minutos de metro. O metro fica bem perto do hotel, mas tem que tomar cuidado em qual estação descer porque a estacao barbes-rochechouarch que tambem esta proxima é super perigosa e cheia de scammers. O cafe da manha é ridiculo, so tem croissant e baguette e uma maquina de bebidas quentes. Nos explicaram que so fazem limpeza a cada 3 dias, e se quisermos todo dia deveriamos solicitar, mas nao fizeram nenhum dia de nossa estadia. O quarto em que ficamos nao tem um acesso facil com malas, achei que eles poderiam ter nos ajudado. O banheiro é MUITO apertado.

This hotel is for backpackers. We stayed for the weekend booked two rooms. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. Stairs dirty, courtyard dirty; sheets need to be washed! No AC! No AC! No AC! No working TV! The water from the shower broke us out! Check your sheets! The staff is chill, the property needs an actual update. Its so humid and sticky in the rooms & the floors were dirty! Small bathrooms if you need space & you will haul your luggage up and down rickety steps that curve with a shaky railing. Convenient location ! Close to shops, the hot spots, and food! 3/10

It’s a Cheap Place. Roms are not like published. We spent around 170$ per night for a superior with view, but reality has been small room , small bathroom with a very bad bed in the 4th floor. Next day we complained and they move us to the 3th floor. Room has been a little bit better m, but even so not like published. No safe in the room, no iron board, bad quality of towels. We left the hotel 2 nights before finished our stay. It’s a scam!!!!!!!

Great location in Montmartre. We had our own private room with full view of Sacre Coeur out of both windows. Staff and guest were super nice and friendly. Very warm and welcoming. It's not a fancy luxury hotel but it has a wonderful atmosphere and fantastic location. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Friendly and professional staff members, great location, and worth the price (I got the breakfast option). Breakfast was good as well. The rooms themselves are ok, but the beds could definitely be more solid and more confortable. Lockers could be a bit bigger as well. Everything in the bathroom was working well and it was clean. Overall it's a great place, but the rooms could benefit from a few upgrades

The staff is fantastic! Metro lines & buses are a few blocks away making it extremely convenient to get to everything you want to see (and to the airport). The Montmartre area is fun to explore as well.

Hice una reserva de una habitación de matrimonio individual, la cual tenía una bañera dentro de la habitación y dos ventanales grandes hacia la avenida, yo pagué por esa habitación y cuando llegamos en la noche para dormir nos dieron una habitación completamente diferente en la que no valía ni la mitad de lo que yo había pagado, la respuesta de ellos fue que en ningún momento me aseguraron dicha reserva de esa habitación, y con las mismas te dejan así, una atención pésima porque la habitación que nos dieron no valía absolutamente nada y por el dinero que pagamos hubiéramos reservado otra de más calidad . No recomendaría para nada este lugar. Lo positivo que te guardan las maletas antes y después de entrar a la habitación y no tiene coste

The staff here are wonderful! Very friendly, helpful and multilingual made my stay easy and very pleasant! Staff members were able to assist me with any questions I had, especially regarding directions. They were able to tell me the best, fastest, and cheapest way to get to where I wanted to go. My favourite part of this property was the patio on the first floor. It has a view of the Sacre Cœur, comfortable couches, tables, and a railing lined with green plants. A gorgeous spot to have breakfast or a smoke break! The room I stayed in was beautiful, with double door windows that opened to a street view below. The shower worked perfectly and I enjoyed the two different shower heads. The only things I could have used in my room was a mini-fridge and potentially a small tv, although I did not mind the lack of television. J'y ai passé trois nuits sur 2 semaines pour le travail, peu de confort, vétuste, personnel serviable mais vraiment pas à la hauteur des commentaires exaltés et du prix surtout. La 1ère semaine, la chambre avec baignoire était prise, soit, j'avais fait part de mon souhait la semaine suivante de l'avoir, c'était bien noté. Quand j'y suis retournée, j'ai appelé le matin pour bien confirmer ce souhait, c'était OK. Or quand j'arrive vers 18h, cette chambre venait d'être donnée à une dame soit disant handicapée qui ne prend pas de douche, étrange de grimper dans une baignoire pour quelqu'un d'handicapé. Bref, à 30 minutes près, j'aurais pu avoir la chambre que j'avais réservée. Les services, la salle de douche, le pdj, ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur. Dommage car je travaille sur Paris toutes les semaines, si j'avais pu avoir cette chambre avec baignoire, j'y serais retournée de temps en temps, cela aurait rattrapé le reste. Bref, passez votre chemin sauf si vous êtes étudiant en visite sur Paris et si vous voulez faire la fête du côté de Pigalle.

It was nice to be close to a lot of cafes and shops The place itself was ok , it was clean and the staff helped out with anything you asked . My concern was the area . Crazy or drunk people at the nearest corner of this place . Just when you thought you can sleep , we were awakened by several times by screaming or trucks going by . I would not recommend this place to a friend

Excellent value for money. Excellent staff. Not close to anything except Sacre Coeur cathedral. The area around hostel is very bad. It is as dirty as a third world country. Neither the city, owners, tenants, shop operators ever bothers to pick up garbage, vomit, bottles, broken glass. For these reasons I would not stay in Montmartre again.

Porem, é bem afastado das outras atrações principais como a torre e louvre, vc vai levar em media de 25 a 35 minutos de metro. O metro fica bem perto do hotel, mas tem que tomar cuidado em qual estação descer porque a estacao barbes-rochechouarch que tambem esta proxima é super perigosa e cheia de scammers. O cafe da manha é ridiculo, so tem croissant e baguette e uma maquina de bebidas quentes. Nos explicaram que so fazem limpeza a cada 3 dias, e se quisermos todo dia deveriamos solicitar, mas nao fizeram nenhum dia de nossa estadia. O quarto em que ficamos nao tem um acesso facil com malas, achei que eles poderiam ter nos ajudado. O banheiro é MUITO apertado.

Das Zimmer war schön und sauber. Die Dachterasse war sehr schön. Im Sommer bestimmt super zu nutzen Mir hat jedoch nicht der Empfangsbereich/Aufenthaltsraum gefallen. Dieser war sehr abgewohnt. Das Frühstück war auch schlecht. Es gab wenig und dieses Essen war mindere Qualität, bspw. schmeckte die Marmelade gleich, obwohl die Sorte gewechselt hat und man konnte nur einen Kaffee trinken, dieser war limitiert.

Vi hade en väldigt bra 3-dagars vistelse i Paris och på Le Village. Vi hade ett fint dubbelrum. Hotellet har en underbar terrass med utsikt mot Sacre Coeur. Frukosten som ingick var enkel men helt ok. Läget är perfekt nära metron och resten av Montmartre. Vi kan rekommendera hotellet och återkommer gärna!

We booked superior rooms... had a nice view, good beds... a view and a room were 9 from 10 point. breakfast here is just a croisant and you can get a caffee from a machine. That's all. Breakfast - 2 from 10 points. But you can buy everything in 2 shops near the hotel.

Det var et fint lille værelse. Beliggenheden opvejede størrelsen af værelset, for det var fedt at bo på Mont Martre! Morgenmaden bestod af et stykke af en baguette, en croissant, smør, marmelade, honning, appelsinjuice og kaffe - meget simpelt, men ok. Personalet var meget flinke og lod os se en dansk VM-håndboldkamp på deres skærm i loungen en aften. Der er lydt, så man kan nemt høre de andre gæster. Men der var faktisk ikke vildt meget larm og ret stille om natten. Vi sov fint!

The building and the rooms were such a positive surprise, actually way better than expected! We were pleasantly surprised by how well the French preserve their old buildings, and this one was no exception. The staircase utterly charming and the interior renovations done with respect for the authenticity of the building and with lots of originals details, like doors, preserved. We were also pleasantly surprised that we had our own balcony! Everything was clean, the bathroom a little small but well functioning.

The staff were friendly and the location was great. However, our room opened up to the road (it wasn't actually in the main building, but rather around the corner) and the walls were quite thin, both of which leading to a lot of noise day and night. Plus, most of the lights in our room and bathroom stopped working part way through our stay. At times the light switches didn't work, but then at random times the lights would start flickering. We even had the lights in the bathroom randomly turn on in the middle of the night.
