Location is perfect plus the hotel is in the same block as the Designmuseum Denmark. Rooms were great and we loved the breakfast buffet; you will not sleep through it and we appreciated the soft lighting. Food and the service were both very good, we ate and had drinks in the restaurant multiple times. Bit of a trek but the Spa area was also quite nice. Staff and especially the Front Desk, were all lovely and super helpful. We initially booked 318 to share but as good friends know, we really needed our own rooms, it was fortunate that 203 was available, which I took. Sending a big thank you back to everyone at the hotel for making our first visit so special. I think Babette Guldsmeden is my new Copenhagen home away from home. Tack!

I visit Copenhagen often for work and this was my first unpleasant experience. In room 420 the bed is a large 4 poster bed, but it had 2 single mattresses. These 2 mattresses each had a massive dip in the middle which made it impossible to sleep in the middle of the bed or on your front or side. I ended up sleeping sideways at the foot of the bed. The floors are made of wood which means you can hear the room above very clearly when they walk around. The room above me woke up before 6am so it was not my lucky day. The Sauna costs (I think) 299 extra for guests and was only available between 17:00-22:00, so I was unable to attend. Service is good and the fish restaurant and breakfast was nice. Just not the place to get a good nights sleep.

The hotel is centrally located in easy walking distance of the Metro. Our room (standard double) had a very comfortable four poster kingsize bed, however the room was fairly ‘cozy’ with such a big bed in it and it was difficult to move around the room or have anywhere to put our things. The tea tray gave us the basics, but only had one teabag for a room for two people. The toiletries were lovely, but again they only provided one towel each. The roof terrace was a nice surprise and it was lovely to take a drink from the bar up there, although I didn’t understand why it had limited opening hours as there was no staff member up there when I was there. Overall, it felt like this hotel did just enough to feel comfortable and enjoyable to stay in, but didn’t exceed my expectations in any way.

Vi tilbragte nytårsaften i en juniorsuite på hotellet. Det var en dejlig oplevelse. Suiten var dejlig, spaen var dejlig, servicen var generelt god og ligeså morgenmaden. Der var kun to småting, der var lidt mangelfulde. Vi spurgte i receptionen om vi måtte få to vinglas med op på værelset. Det var ikke en mulighed på trods af at det var nytårsaften og der var lukket i restauranten. Vi fik heller ikke tilbudt ekstra håndklæder til spaen på trods af at man betaler ekstra for spaen.

This is a delightful hotel in a great location. It has a quirky ambiance from the time you enter the lobby/dining room. Staff are friendly. Bar is great and stays open late. Food is wonderful. Walkable to Amalienborg palace, castellete which offers a great park, nyhavn (with a ton of restaurants), Frederiks Kirk. and Kongens Nytorv.

Hotellet virker gammelt og rimeligt slidt. Lobbyen er lille og mørk. Værelset var også gammelt og virkede slidt. Ingen varme på badeværelset og gulvet var iskoldt. På badeværelset blev gulvet meget vådt når man brugte bruseren og der var vand overalt. Det lugtede af kloak på badeværelset, som man havde forsøgt at camouflere med en room diffuser (som lugtede forfærdeligt af kanel). Vi spiste morgenmad på hotellet, som til prisen ikke var pengene værd. Desuden var morgenmadsbuffeten lille og blødkogte æg var hårdkogte (Ikke unormalt, men der blev kogt 15 ad gangen, selvom der kun var cirka 15 gæster. Så er det ikke så overraskende de ikke forholder sig blødkogte). Scrambled eggs var ikke hjemmelavet og med chilli (!?) Der var desuden ingen værtinde til at modtage folk i morgenmadsbuffen, hvilket virkede mærkeligt, da de netop skulle indsamle værelsesinformation. Det var en ret dyr overnatning (også sammenlignet med andre hoteller i København på tidspunktet) og det var desværre slet ikke de penge værd.

The room was clean, immaculate really. Nice furnishings. Great location near many sights to visit. The staff were all very nice and service oriented. If you speak English, but not Danish, no problem. The staff were very accommodating. Exceeded my expectations in all regards.

Jeg har besøgt tusinde af hoteller i min karriere og har aldrig taget tid til at skrive en bedømmelse. Men dette ophold var unikt. Hotellet er fantastisk, charme, værelserne har alt med en rigtig god seng. Der er super rent. Linda som sad i receptionen gav en upgrade da der ikke var andre værelser. Fin morgenmad of hyggelig restaurant med sand på gulvet. Jeg har besøgt hoteller som havde vundet pris for bedste hotel i Asien og uofficielt 7 stjerne hotel i Saudi Arabien. denne oplevelse var mindst lige så god. tak for det Linda...... Ærgerligt at konen ikke var med.

Værelset er pænt, morgenmaden var god og personalet var som sådan og flink. Der bliver bygget lige foran hotellet og det medfører store støjgener, hvilket gjorde st det blev knap så afslappende et ophold, og der blev ikke varslet om dette nogen steder. Derudover fungere sofa/tv setup'et ikke og går man i bad risikerer man en mindre "oversømmelse" i badeværelset.

Værelse, seng var super fint. Personale var superfint. Værelset var dog ganske lydt hvilke gjorde at man kunne følge med i samtaler på naboværelsern. Samtidig lå det ud til en trafikeret vej hvor der var en del støj fra. Kommer jeg igen… ja, men jeg vil bede om et værelse væk fra vejen.

Man kan ikke udleje er superior værelse under loftet, et vindue, 30 grader, meget støj fra gaden. Værelset uden himmelseng - det jeg havde bestilt. Ekstem lavloftet Boet en del gange på guldsmeden - normalt tilfreds.

Everything was really nice except the shower space is quite small and also the room doesn’t have air conditioning and you need to make sure the staff provide you duvet that fits the weather - went in spring/early summer and they gave me feather duvet and it’s just killing me at night. Location is good and staff is really friendly and helpful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Babette Guldsmeden. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. When we arrived early, they did everything they could to get us in for an early check-in. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast buffet was delicious, the bar was comfortable and cozy and the views from our room were fabulous. The hotel is located to nearby restaurants and sites - either within walking distance or bus/metro. We would recommend a stay here - you will not be disappointed. Thank you to the staff!

Indtjekning var langmodig og omstændig og "før indtjekning" som bestilt ikke muligt fik dog en "upgrade" til et værelse som utvivlsomt var hotellets mest larmende. Værelset var træt og slidt. Og der er extremt meget larm fra gaden.

We had an incredible stay! Our room was so lovely, and it didn’t feel like a hotel room one bit! It was like we were staying at someone’s home - comfortable, eclectic, peaceful. A really unique stay and we loved all the sustainable bath products, special touches, and the location was unbeatable!!

Værelset er pænt, morgenmaden var god og personalet var som sådan og flink. Der bliver bygget lige foran hotellet og det medfører store støjgener, hvilket gjorde st det blev knap så afslappende et ophold, og der blev ikke varslet om dette nogen steder. Derudover fungere sofa/tv setup'et ikke og går man i bad risikerer man en mindre "oversømmelse" i badeværelset.

Stayed here for 3 nights. This was rated by our family the best lodging section for our 2 week trip. I like the boutique vibe here. Our room was spacious (I booked a larger suite for 3 of us) and the designer bathtub offered a blissful relief from walking nearly 30k steps a day. There is both a bathtub and a shower room in the bathroom. Breakfast was not fancy but each item was very tasty, which I appreciate, in that there isn't much waste yet everything was delicious. There is a small supermarket directly across the street, which is immensely convenient. There is a large park directly across the hotel as well, for people who enjoys a morning walk/run. This place made such a great start for our 2 week trip!

El hotel es muy bueno y el personal muy cordial y servicial. Recomendaría que en el menú del restaurante incluyan más opciones de platos vegetarianos ya que tuvimos un solo plato y el chef se negó a preparar una alternativa. Cuando uno se queda 5 noches nos obligó a cenar fuera del hotel para no repetir siempre el mismo plato.

Staff were very nice but the room we had was lacking. The bathroom was terrible; shower water has nothing to keep it in the shower so the floor gets very wet and the bathroom is incredibly small. Second, there was not a single dresser in the room so for 8 days we had to live out of our suitcases. Third, amenities in room were almost non existent. No fridge, no mini bar. I would not return.
