Nice pool and hot tub area, food was excellent in the restaurant. Only slight negative was that the shower was old in our room with very little pressure.

It is a large facility that requires walking to access the pool, reception desk and the Lakeside Seafood and Grill Restaurant. A popular eatery that is located at the back of the Resort. A convenient dining option but not necessarily for children. The connecting corridors are Mobility Accessible .

We stayed in a one bedroom condo. It was very spacious & clean. The indoor pool was brightly painted, with a bonus kids splash pad. It had an indoor & outdoor hot & had a playground & splash pad outside. The bedroom came with an office desk which was very helpful. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, but there were no cooking sheets, nor measuring spoons. The appliances were incredibly loud, the AC gets turned off during the winter? It was unbearably hot or we had to open the window & be subject to whatever wind condition was outside. The rooms were incredibly incredibly loud. The building structure is built like a house, so you can hear every foot step. Friday night was the worst, it was crazy loud with stomping feet. But at 11pm it ended & they were better behaved the next day. I guess they let them do whatever until 11 and weren't aware how loud they were. Bring a white noise machine. The change rooms in the pool area could use an update, the rain shower head was comedic bc it was spraying everywhere & the water pressure sucked. The restaurant was just okay. Incredibly over priced. The proteins were expertly cooked, but the starch was bland & vegetables were very seldom & cheap. $44 for a duck breast with white mashed potatoes & 8 green string beans? The "family " fitness classes, were not built for families - At. All. Also, i dont know if the front desk was inexperienced or shady, but i was charged $700 more than i booked on Expedia. But Expedia resolved it.

Big room with kitchen and laundry facilities. Hotel is made up of different phases, so the floors don't align.... We were on floor 3 walk along the corridor then all of a sudden on floor 2.... It can be confusing. Pool was ok, and visit to spa was good

We were first assigned to the old part of the hotel. Room had not been updated in years and years. Carpet and furniture were gross and room was smelly. Outside of the window and overhang were literally covered in spider webs. When we asked for the room that was advertised on their website they were quick to give us another room. The second room was as described. Bed very comfortable. We spent time at the pool and hot tub. Pool was nice. The hot tub not particularly hot, basic. Did enjoy the steam room in the locker room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Navigating the hotel between the old and new was confusing.

Room was cleaned well staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. And the spa at the hotel was amazing.

Excellent location and service. The pool is undergoing maintenance which is why it was not open. But overall extremely professional, helpful staff and great location make this resort a sure shot winner.

The first room was not clean. There were stained on the couch and the bedding had a strong odor.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this resort. We were checked in late past the standard 4 PM time, despite booking a two-bedroom suite in advance. The room was poorly prepared with not enough towels, a clogged sink, and a leaking bathroom, which damaged our personal items. There were no plates or utensils in either kitchen, later found uncleaned in the dishwasher, and the washing machine left our clothes blotchy. The most misleading issue was the spa amenities. The booking images prominently featured spa facilities like hot tubs and an aquatic path, but they were not included and closed shortly after check-in, making it impossible for our one-night stay. Staff gave vague responses about the spa and showed no accountability when I addressed my concerns. Management failed to follow up despite multiple promises, and staff were dismissive and unhelpful when I returned in person. This stay fell far below expectations, and I would not recommend this resort due to its misleading advertising, poor service, and lack of professionalism.

Staff were super friendly. In regards to cleanliness I unfortunately found some hair in my bed before even using it. Also, the rooms weren’t really sound proof as we were able to hear the people next door. I liked were it was located as it was only a few minutes drive to get to wherever we wanted to go. I also loved the outdoor hot tub and highly recommend it.

The restaurant is wonderful. Besides that, this is not a 4 star facility. 2-3 star at best. Just has an end to end run down feeling. Damaged bathrooms, mouldy baseboards show clear water damage. Temperature control in room doesn't work properly. Turned to boiling heat in the middle of the night needing us to open the balcony door in the middle of January. Overall, not worth the pricetag at all.

Cleanliness was absolutely awful… Fruit flies in room, in restaurant and throughout the property. Definitely wouldn’t return.

Washrooms are filthy. Shower door had mold. Also shower floor.

Stayed in new part of hotel but renovation was not quality. Bathroom looks like DIY job. Bad caulking and not clean. Hair in tub. Rest of room was fine but they need to fix bathroom. Feels and looks dirty. Don’t think we will stay here again.

The hotel/resort was perfectly located for our travels. Collingwood is a cute town where you can see amazing sunsets from many points along the waterfront. When we booked online, we saw pictures of rooms that had been renovated and some that looked a little older. We ended up with the older one. We were in room 3118. The bed frames and headboard which are covered in leather-like fabric are very worn down or ripped. It would add to the charm of the room if those were replaced or recovered. Our room had two beds and an efficiency kitchen. There was a good size balcony with a bit of a view of the water as well as the hot-tub below. It was unfortunate that our room was near the extremely large air conditioner units below - the constant buzzing made it unbearable to sit outside for an extended time. A few minutes after arriving in our room, one of the smoke detectors started beeping. I called down to the desk, the young lady was polite and apologized for the trouble, she said she would send someone upstairs without delay. Our handyman showed up about 10 minutes later to fix the hardwired smoke detector. While we were waiting we noticed there was zero toilet paper in the room, not even an end of roll. There was also no soap at the bathroom sink.

We stayed in the new wing and its floors don’t match the main building. Had to elevator to 3rd floor and then walk another hallway to get to stairs to get to 4th floor. No direct elevator to the 4th floor in the new wing. Room was beautiful.

The beds are terrible, too soft and uncomfortable. Even though heat was off we were so hot and had to open balcony in the winter

The pull out bed was the worst thing in the suite and the loud AC Noise. So if you are a light sleeper you have to turn off the AC To sleep orherwise it will be a conatant buzzing on your ears

Our king bed room was clean and comfortable but it lacked any drawers to put your clothes in and contained 1 tiny closet only big enough to contain 2 jackets and maybe a few shirts at best. The shower was a wheel chair accessible shower and the curtain was damaged thus we could not stop water from going out onto the floor.

The room was clean, very big, but kind of old. The furniture was old, sofa was making a noise each time you want to move. The pillows were uncomfortable, I had a terrible headache two mornings due to the pillows. We booked 1 bedroom suite, but the small sofa as in the pictures were missed in our room. But generally speaking we loved the hotel and our stay there. The territory is amazing. Hotel is huge. Next to the waterfront. Hotel has a pool in a great condition and warm towels. Kids playground, waterfalls. We love our stay there, except sofa and pillows, which would be great to replace.

The room overall was great but the bed's head board was warn and torn. Makes the room look like it was put together many years ago.

Our room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, the view was gorgeous. My husband and I booked the Aquapath and had a very nice experience with our guide. We then went to the restaurant to have a delicious breakfast accompanied by live music. Everything about our experience was pleasant until we asked for a late checkout. We asked for an extra hour since we were at the spa and then had a reservation at the restaurant and would have liked to grab our things afterward. We spoke to the receptionist and she told us she was not authorized to allow any more late checkouts and that it was $50 for every half hour if we wanted to stay. I let her know we had just spent time in their spa and were eating at their restaurant and surely they would appreciate that we were supporting their hotel. I don’t think an extra hour is a big ask. Again, she repeated it was policy and that we had to pay extra. I asked to speak to the supervisor, but they conveniently were not to arrive until after 11 o’clock. So, we went up to our room, packed up our belongings and brought our bags downstairs before heading for breakfast. This was very disappointing and shocking. It left a poor taste in our mouths and we will not be back. Sorry to say.

I would not stay here again. We arrived around 830pm and waited 10-15 minutes with only one check in person working. Once we checked in we asked what was the best option to get to our room. We were told we were in the newest part of the hotel. So much confusion try to find our room. We had to walk so far to get there and take two separate elevators. We got lost several times. If we had mobility issues we couldn’t have done it. Our shower tile had two long black hairs on it. (Not clean) The fan in the washroom didn’t work. There was no room service. There was complimentary coffee in the lobby but only until 8am. The staff was not very helpful or friendly.

Amie the Supervisor at the Front Desk is an absolute professional and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She was able to swiftly and effectively resolve an issue we had while also making us feel so welcome! She made our stay so lovely and because of her we will be back !

Stay somewhere else. Poor management - actually, when we asked to speak with a manager, we were told that there wasn't one.

Check in was not good. The girl at the desk didn’t take the time to advise us of the amenities, like the gym or pool. Their website doesn’t comment a great deal on the amenities either. I had booked a room several months in advance, I they ended up giving us a room way down at the other end which we had to drive to. We had to take our bags back to the vehicle from the lobby and drive to the other end. The rooms have paper thin walls. So they are super noisy at night. One night we were up until 2am because of the noise in the room beside us. The room was very dated and had a dorm feeling. The spa was as great, however. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was great as well. I will definitely go back to the spa; but I’ll look for other accommodation.

Check-in was very smooth, the 2 bedroom suite on waterside was great. Rooftop was nice to sit up there and enjoy the view and it was quiet. The indoor hit tub was great. Pool is inside only with large sliding doors to 2nd hot tub outside. Nathan at the front desk provided us with outstanding customer service, aa well as Amiee. We will be returning Mary

Wrong room upon arrival, pictures of the resort are deceiving. Not as high end as expected. Front desk staff very accommodating. Young male host at the restaurant could use some training on interacting with guests, he was very odd and made you feel like you were intruding on his time. Aquapath was ok, again pics were deceiving. Resort has so much potential, would not return at this time.

The stay was terrible. The hotel was very depressing, and the rooms had a strong, unpleasant odor. It resembled an old condo, and we could clearly hear conversations and bathroom noises from the next room. We had to extend our stay due to an emergency, and the hotel made an error on the invoice. Although we were told over the phone that the price would remain the same, they failed to update it in their system. As a result, we had to wait nearly an hour at checkout to explain the situation and adjust the invoice. We stopped arguing the front desk lady for the right exact amount for refund and ended up getting less money as it was not worth the time. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience.

Great location, town is just short drive to resturants , groceries , LCBO, the resort is walking distance to the water. The roof top of the resort adds a nice touch. The room is a good size equipped with a kitchen. The room was clean and well maintained and comes with many charging stations. Our room had a balcony but it was very dirty, had to use a broom that was supplied to clean the balcony myself. Checkin, checkout went smooth . They even offered cookies which was a nice touch.

Restaurant was very slow. The bed , pillows and sheets were perfect. The balconies were great size, but need ed better quality of side table! One table the glass fell out!! It would have been good if we had a patio set and loungers . Thanks

The suites are gorgeous and you don't want for anything. The onsite restaurant was fabulous and the staff are amazing! We will definitely be back!

While paprika on potatoes for eggs Benedict dish not the best creative attempt made breakfast in Lakeside restaurant lackluster and somewhat disappointing, the clean suite (we had the adjoining 2 units in the not recent refurbished section; Note: room trim and carpentry poor finishing stood out but airy, large condo feeling with two balconies was nice for lounging, cooking ensuite). Spa service was very good even if they do not offer RMTs, the care was exceptional as suggested physio follow-up was helpful when returned home. A modest attempt at providing an almost luxurious retreat that does well enough to keep returning as we have. Close to everything yet on the bay for a relaxed escape. We had a fire alarm go off one mjd morning with no speaker announcements and when the line of guests filed down hall past an employee who did not give directions, their inattentivness was obvious when had to turn myself around from wrong direction and ask if this was an exit. Okay, small point, but it stands out when the front desk, wait staff and even a manager passing in the Lobby takes a moment to ask if everything is fine. Homey, modest, clean and spacious rooms make this a comfortable place worth revisiting in the hope restaurant tightens up its breakfast (think traditional hash browns, or Yukon gold rosemary potatoes and toss the bland dry paprikash).

Staff were wonderful. The room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed our Happy Hour drinks and then dinner at the waterfront restaurant.

Second time for us at Loving Waters. Love the location, close for biking and beaching. Restaurant on site is very good. Apartments well maintained and fully furnished, we ended it up eating almost our meals there as it so easy to cook, use the bbq, dishwasher, etc. Disappointed that our kayak reservation was cancelled twice: first time because of the weather and it did not rain at all at the end, and second time because of short staffing.

The reception was not good and there are too many customer and only two employee to serve them.The manager leaves at 5 PM and in the week end ,problems can't be solved . Resturant and coffee shop closes at 10 PM at the week end in the summer .

Our room was very outdated and dirty. There is no longer an arcade like stilladvertised. Pool and hot tub did not open until 8am. 4pm check in is way too late. No coffee or breakfast available. medocre overpriced seafood restaurant.
