The gentleman at xheck in was very nice and so helpful Outside of hotel needs some tlc but my room, although basic was clean and comfortable and fitted with my needs Good value would stay again

The room I had booked was with a bathroom but the room I was given only had a sink and a shower with a shared bathroom down the hall. They ‘upgraded’ me to a room with more beds but still only had a shower and sink. Shower was really old and over all the room was grungy.

The staff were very helpful but the bed mattress really uncomfortable and the shared bathroom in need of decorating and modernising. The disappointment was the pictures advertising the property is very misleading I actually thought there was a garden area with seating in fact it was very overgrown and very uninviting. A lot of money paid for this budget hotel for 1 night.

We were Immediately upgraded by Walid. A very friendly welcome and seemed to be on duty 24/7. It is somewhere ok to get some sleep. Shared toilet and bathroom off putting> However Walid made up for the lodges short comings with his warm welcome

Booked room with breakfast included, no breakfast received. Very limited parking space. Room very cold, on request received extra heater. Shower in room didn’t work, had to use shared one. No duvets , only blankets. Very dusty under the bed.

Not very good. Shower not working well. Almost 10-15 people had to queue up for use of bathroom. Rooms not spacious, beds uncomfortable.

U need to explain to person that they are sharing a bathroom with strangers the place was very smelly overall i can't imagine taking kids there i will never refuse or let anyone i know go there is not

Was nice enough, not overly fancy. Communal bathrooms for rooms which was a little awkward but fine. Rooms were clean but bathroom could be cleaner. Minimal contact with staff but we’re friendly enough when engaged.

It’s good . Booked for a room with private toilet but had a little problem but was changed for a room with shared bathroom, staffs there were very friendly and helpful. Can’t complain much. Room was very neat and clean.

The hotel is extremely run down and the bathroom was absolutely filthy. I walked to Tesco to buy bathroom cleaner and mould remover as it was so disgusting. I put a very dirty bath mat outside the room as very unhygienic. No duvet just a used throw, everything old and stained. The staff were friendly and helpful though. They washed the bath mat, got me a new duvet and cover. I just don’t understand why basic cleanliness and guest comfort is not a rule here. We didn’t expect too much for the price we paid but you don’t expect a dirty room. The location is good and free parking a bonus.

Awful avoid at all costs - not clean, bed broken shower not working water on taps in bathroom would not go off not clean and generally a huge let down.

The welcome and customer care were excellent. Clean bedding but other cleaning jacking dirty shower and dusty room.

Was not very clean at all. The sheets and towels were dirty and we only had a blanket not a duvet and the blankets had burn holes in them. Just all in all didn’t seem very safe and quite unclean.

Very dirty, poor condition. 2 of 4 guests opted to book other rooms upon seeing the room. Even the staff told us we shouldn’t have bothered with crystal lodge.

This place is horrendous! The guy checking us in was angry we checked in a day late (done because our flight was early the next morning and we wanted to check right in) but the room we were supposed to be in flooded so they put us in a smaller room. So he was mad that we were both a day late, and 2 hours early for check in?? There was a shared bathroom which was never advertised, the mattress for lack of a better word was springs with a sheet on top. They never turned heat on, we couldn’t plug anything in without it scrambling the television, the was we’re so thin you can hear every voice in the building. One morning the manager was banging on a neighbor’s door threatening to call the police because it was after checkout time and they were still there (this went on for nearly an hour). I’ve never been so disappointed with accommodations in my life and wouldn’t recommend for even mice to stay here. We paid for 7 nights and stayed 2 before finding somewhere else.

It is what it is - essentially a hostel, but with separate rooms. Comfy, clean enough and warm. Friendly & helpful reception staff.

Warm cosy relaxing stay

Wonderful staff, the room was very warm and comfortable! Shared bathroom and kitchen were clean too! It felt like more like a large house than a hotel, which might be great for some. The staff had every possible amenity I required and I'm grateful for the extended stay despite my late check in. Just be aware that as it's close to the high street (not necessarily a bad thing), you might get the odd busy traffic noise near you. Good, decent place to sleep for the night for a decent price.

For a quick, one night stay, at the price, it was adequate.

Nice and friendly staff. Our family room was all new beds so I could sleep well. I just feel bad for another customer. My children were so happy stay here so running around and making noise.
