The staff was nice and helped with all our bags , especially since there was no elevator. The room was good. The beds were comfortable and the location was ideal. Walking distance to the coliseum.

Clean room, the night time manager was really friendly and helpful. Tried his best under the circumstances. Unfortunately due to a series of unfortunate events our hotel room had no WiFi, no tv and no kettle to make a hot drink. We were upgraded to the spa room which was in the basement so couldn’t even get phone reception. Although we did have the company of an overly friendly mosquito through the night. The breakfast was also comically bad offering Kraft cheese, oily bacon, fluorescent coloured fruit juice, underripe bananas and greasy eggs. The morning manager didn’t ask us how our stay was, I guess he didn’t want to know!

The suite was super cute! But we did have a few tech problems with the hot-tub it does need a lot of work. But other than that it was a beautiful spot and we can easily walk to the Colosseum and train

Do NOT book the room with the Jacuzzi. Once you arrive the water in the Jacuzzi will be freezing cold and there’s no way to heat it when the “heater” is turned off during the hotter months. There’s no windows or anything else in that room worth staying there if the Jacuzzi isn’t working. No windows so it feels like a dungeon and the wifi reception and cell reception down there is HORRIBLE. I tried getting my money back once I found out and they offered half even though I was willing to leave without staying. This is far from a romance room as possible.

Me encanto, la vista desdevla entrada es el mismisimo Coliseo 😍 el hotel es boutique, muy limpio y con detalles de lujo, el personal es muy amable y profesional, yo estuve en la habitación Spa y es hermosisima lo unico que debo de comentar es que el agua del jacuzzi esta helada y no hay como calentarla, si te gusta fria lo amaras, todo es hernoso.

Was only there for one night so when we arrived we dropped the bags off and went out for the evening but at a quick glance everything seemed ok (like I said, quick). We got back late and got into the room where we noticed an odd smell which wasn’t that strong at this point as the hotel left the window ajar/open so we couldn’t tell what or where it was. Being late with an early start we just wanted a to got to sleep. Well as the night went on and trying to sleep the smell got stronger and stronger! By this point and only being there for one night there wasn’t much we could do about. After assessing in the morning we could only put it down to the bathroom/plumbing as that is where the smell was the strongest and really overpowering. Bathroom on closer inspection was also not the cleanest with a very small extractor (no window in bathroom) which must of added to the issue. In short we were glad that it was one night as that was enough for us.

Location is great and the staff is very nice. Room was very tight and not as big as the pictures. Bathroom had some mold and the seats covers and bed side covers were dirty or had stains. Again great staff and location, however the cleanliness was not the best here.

Great location and service. Walking distance to colosseum, shops and restaurants. Room was small compared to other local hotels we stayed at and there was unpleasant lingering smell. We also noticed mold in the shower wall.

The placement of the hotel was great, the people who worked there were kind and helpful. However there is no elevator for luggage, so you are hauling luggage up several flights of stairs to your room. The rooms are very small, VERY small. The bathroom can only fit one person, and the the bathroom area was pretty ran down and felt a little dirty. The side tables in our room were very dusty, and the bed and very large dips in the mattress, it was unpleasant.
The placement of the hotel was great, the people who worked there were kind and helpful. However there is no elevator for luggage, so you are hauling luggage up several flights of stairs to your room. The rooms are very small, VERY small. It is in a great location you can see the colosseum out the lobby door. The room we got moved to was a little noisier than I expected. I don’t know if we had gone with the room we booked if it would have been better. The front desk is very nice and helpful.

Rooms are clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They really get 5 stars. My only problem with this place was the water in the sink that had almost no pressure and the water tempreture in the shower that was NOT consistent and cold water would flow randomly.

This is the TINIEST hotel room I have ever seen and did not look like the spacious hotel room on their website. Also, there was no cold water from either the shower or the sink, only hot water. My friend stayed in a nearby hotel with a room and bed twice the size for $100 less/night.

Loved this boutique hotel. The bed was super comfortable and I loved hiding my suitcase in the large closet. My only complaint was the air conditioning had a hard time cooling the room down. It was 100-105 our 2 days in Rome. It’s only a 5 minute walk from the Colosseum, and you could see it down the street as soon as you exited. The hotel had a classy look and professional staff who were willing to help with everything from calling you a taxi to recommending a place for dinner. The best pasta we had in Rome was right next door and there was a fantastic wine bar with amazing food right down the block! Great recommendations all around.

The hot water did not work unless you called the front desk and they would have to come into your room and do a work around to make it work. The toilet seat was wobbly and the one window did not open. I felt cheated after paying $300 a night for a room you could not take a hot shower in!

The hotel itself was in a fantastic location minutes walk to the metro and colosseum which was a bonus. The room was nice, plenty of space for my family of 3 and very clean. However, the beds were very uncomfortable and the room windows had poor curtain coverings on them and the noise from the street kept us awake all 3 nights. It was so loud we were tempted to leave and find another hotel but given we had already paid for the 3 nights we put up with it. It was such a shame as we thought the hotel was lovely and the staff were really nice but the noise has put us off and we won’t be staying again. There was also construction going on first thing in the morning on Friday and Saturday right outside our room which we were not made aware of and after a sleepless night we could’ve done without all the banging at 8am.

This is a lovely hotel located within walking distance of the Colosseum. It's rooms are small, but neat and clean. The beds are comfortable and the windows open for lovely breezes. The shower stalls were also very small since they're square with two doors that open. The hotel is also located within walking distance of a ton of delicious restaurants, a gelateria, and convenience as well as souvenir shops. We tried several of the restaurants and they were all delicious. We went to Italy for my mom's birthday and they had prosecco, chocolate, and strawberries waiting when we arrived. They also arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport which made arriving so much easier! This is a small, lovely hotel in a great location in Rome. I highly recommend it!

The concierge was super friendly. They were willing to stow our bags for us the day we arrived when the room wasn’t quite ready (it was still ready much earlier than the quoted check in time which was lovely) but also for however long we needed the day we left after check out. He called a taxi for us to get to the train and had many suggestions of where to go and what to see. I would absolutely stay here again!

Clean room, the night time manager was really friendly and helpful. Tried his best under the circumstances. Unfortunately due to a series of unfortunate events our hotel room had no WiFi, no tv and no kettle to make a hot drink. We were upgraded to the spa room which was in the basement so couldn’t even get phone reception. Although we did have the company of an overly friendly mosquito through the night. The breakfast was also comically bad offering Kraft cheese, oily bacon, fluorescent coloured fruit juice, underripe bananas and greasy eggs. The morning manager didn’t ask us how our stay was, I guess he didn’t want to know!

The desk staff was wonderful! Answered all questions. Very knowledgeable,kind, and patient. We felt at home. We would not have had as easy and enjoyable time in Rome without the friendliness and useful information of the desk staff. We left feeling as if we made friends. The cleaning staff was very sweet and did a perfect job as well. The whole experience of our stay was better for staying there.

Staff was very friendly, very helpful. I had a flight was delayed in Rome days after I left their hotel. They stored my luggage for free while I toured around around with my family during the time my flight was delayed. Hotel is clean perfect location. Air conditioning works well.

It’s a nice small hotel close to colesseum. Very friendly staff…quiet…shops and cafes just outside the door. That being said when I checked in they said a reserved a room at their other location on the other side of Rome. I showed them my Expedia reservation which clearly states my reservation was for that location. Not sure what happened. They were able to get us a room at the colosseum location so it worked out…but could have gone all wrong. Not sure what happened

Five minutes walk to Colosseum, Roman forum and multitudes of tourist attractions. Nearby metro, buses and trains for easy ventures to Vatican city, Trastevere, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Pantheon, restaurants and churches. We walked everywhere to get our steps in but public transportation is easy option. Construction in hotel during stay so was a little noisy but it’s understandable with a hotel making improvements. Great little place to stay and convenient location.

Un endroit parfait pour visiter ROME. A deux pas du Colosseo et a mi-chemin entre Santa Maria Magiore et San Giovani in Laterano ( 20 minutes à pied de chaque basilique) dans une rue pleine de restaurants ( Trattoria Luzzi toujours pleine car les prix sont imbattables), juste devant l'église San Clemente ( dont les fouilles archéologiques sont impressionnantes) , pas très loin de gare Termini ( a pied ou en bus) . Près de station des bus et tramway. A 5 minutes du beau parc DOMUS AUREA avec les ruines antiques et une aire de jeux pour enfants. Bra, men frokosten var ikke sånn de beskrev på bestillingen. Det var det samme til frokost hver dag, men veldig dårlig utvalgt. Og da mener jeg dårlig. Var typ sånn, 5 ting å velge imellom og smakte ikke veldig godt noe av det. Veldig bra service, helt greit hotell. Hvis man bare skal sove der, og være borte hele dagen. Det er ikke noe bar eller noe sted man kan sitte i på hotellet. Ligger bra til, det skal sies.

You can see the Coloseum after exiting the front of the hotel. Hop on hop off bus stop very close by. Classy decor, however, for North Americans the rooms are small but that's Europe. The shower was big and there was ample storage space, mini fridge and we loved the French balcony window. Beds were comfortable The staff was very friendly and helpful. Valero spoke perfect English and gave us much useful information about Rome and Italy. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a large selection of hot breakfast items and pastries, juice etc. Thanks to Mara who was always nearby if you needed anything. Excellent location. Many shops and restaurants and grocery store (Carrefour) minutes away. Enjoyed our stay.

Great spot near the Colosseum in a really fun and walkable neighborhood! Gorgeous hotel room with a big window and a fireplace, the bathroom was a typically small European bathroom, but not a problem at all. The breakfast was very mediocre, but nearby restaurants are excellent! We really enjoyed staying in this neighborhood and would stay in this hotel again if we were going to Rome for the vibe. You can easily take a cab over to some of the big sites you will want to see, and this hotel is in a much nicer neighborhood than staying over by the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. I preferred staying in this neighborhood than our stay over by the Trevi Fountain.

We were extremely disappointed that the room with the pool was not available when we arrived. We were offered an alternate room and refunded part of our payment. Had we been advised in advance, we would have booked elsewhere as we wanted a facility that offered a pool. Apart from that, everything else was ok. Unfortunately the disappointment impacted our visit to Rome.

We had an excellent time at Profumo Colosseo! The location was fantastic, just a very quick walk right to the Colosseum. We were a family of four, so we had a larger room with a bed and sleeper sofa for our (teenage) kids, and we all agreed the beds were the most comfortable of our entire stay in Italy. A few others in our group had rooms in the hotel, too, which were much smaller than our room but still very nice. Be sure to eat at Pizza Forum a block away. Ate there twice and it was fantastic. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved the location. It's close to the Colloseum with lots of dining options in the area. It's a small room, with a fireplace and AC. It's very cozy. We were given a bottle of sparking wine but didn't drink it. Fausto at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We couldn't figure out how to work the TV. We didn't book breakfast when we booked the room but we're able to buy breakfast for 15€ each which was great. We would stay there again. The only problem we had was luggage and stairs. There is no elevator. Fausto helped us the day we arrived.

Rooms were clean and had all the essentials. Location is great and helps get to the main attractions quickly. Our issue with both rooms we had in this reservation was the AC didn’t seem to work and we had trouble getting any rest since it was extremely hot.
