Town House 62

The pictures on Expedia did not match the room we were given. Gray room. Lots of street noise. Construction across the street. The are was ok. There is no lobby. We needed four keys to get to our room. Breakfast was not good. We switched hotels after 1 night.

El lugar es lindo, aunque en las fotos parecía ser más grande la habitación pero no lo era, al llegar nos recibió un joven muy amable nos explico todo muy bien ya que es en un edificio, nos dieron muuchas llaves ya que eran 4 puertas las que se tienen que abrir, el cuarto olía muy perfumado al llegar pero cuando paso ese olor el cuarto olía mucho a cigarro, la cama estaba bien aunque un poco dura para mi gusto y para finalizar se escuchaba todo lo de los otros cuartos. El cuarto está bien en general pero para lo que cuesta creo que podría haber encontrado algo mejor

Town House 62 was very easy to walk to from the Lepanto metro stop. Be aware the rooms are on the 3rd floor but there is a lift to use (wish this had been pointed out prior to our arrival). The room was clean however is in need of an update, and being on a main road could get noisy (due to single glazed windows) There was a bottle of wine on arrival and I have to say all the staff were very friendly & accommodating! The air con was amazing, so nice to come back to a cool room (heatwave when we were there!) The area around felt very safe & and Morrisons Irish bar was just around the corner for a nightcap. Great location to get to all the sights of Rome - we mainly walked but having the metro nearby is great. Would stay again for the location & great staff!!

Mit einem kleinen Fahrstuhl erreicht man gut die Etage. Das Personal war überaus freundlich, sie bereiten das Frühstück persönlich zu, welche sehr lecker war. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß für zwei Personen und einem Kleinkind. Es wurde regelmäßig sauber gemacht und auch das Objekt war stets sauber. Leider einen kleinen Abzug in der Bewertung, da ein kleines Schimmelproblem im innenliegendem Badezimmer herrschte.

There is no one working at the property except to check you in. There are no lights on in the hallway, which has no windows, until you move close to the “office” which has a motion sensor for a light. They give you 4 keys to get in and out of the property and the main door of the hotel is almost impossible get in. The bed in the room was nothing like what was online. More of a cot. I would not recommend this “hotel” to anyone.

Great find on Hotels.com! Looks a bit odd as the rooms are on the 3rd floor of a building with offices underneath, however they are perfect for visiting Rome. Friendly staff giving helpful tips. 15 minute walk to Vatican, Trevi, Pantheon and loads of restaurants and bars a 2 minute walk away! Must go to Cafe Portofino, that was excellent for breakfast & lunch!

My wife and I stayed here for rugby match. Great location, only 15 mins walk to Piazza Navona and 45 mins to Colosseum (we like to walk but metro available). Room is on 3rd floor, accessed via lift or stairs. Room and bathroom was comfortable, but one minor criticism is the mattress could do with being replaced. Hosts were very helpful and friendly, arranged airport transfers.

The staff was superb, Marco was very responsive to my questions prior to our arrival and even arranged transportation for us from the Civitavecchia cruise port to the hotel. The property is very secure, you have to get beyond 3 locked entrances to get to your room. Don't let the 3 locked entrances give you the impression it's not in a safe area, we felt safe walking to and from the hotel. As an American it's hard for us to get used to "smaller" meaning rooms are smaller, as are the elevators, and less amenities than back home. As an American traveler I realize this and find it is an adjustment. The room as mentioned is small, as is the bathroom. Our room #5 had a aviation theme. Walls were pretty scuffed up. Chair looked broken so we didn't sit in it, used bench at the end of the bed instead. I think the most inconvenient thing was there was not a shelf in the shower to place your soap/shampoo, I had to place my bar of soap on the shower floor, which I didn't care for. Also learning European hotels don't provide wash cloths. The A/C worked, but wouldn't cool below 22°C. For a Texan like myself, it was a warm nights sleep which is difficult. Mini fridge was cool, but not cold. There was a nice gesture of a bottle of wine in our room upon arrival, but we didn't open it because we don't drink much. Considering our tight Rome itinerary, we weren't in our room much so the inconveniences were bearable and Marcos responsiveness made this hotel worth still earning a good rating.

Veldig sentralt, lite hotell med 5 rom i tredje etasje. Rommet var veldig stort med kontorplass, tre stoler og komfortabel «himmelseng». Badet var også veldig stort. Egentlig en liten moderne leilighet. Beliggenheten på Prati var meget fin. 5 min til buss og Metro, 20 min til Vatikanstatens inngang. 30-40 min til alle severdigheter i Roma. Det aller beste var den hyggelige verten, som er der på dagtid og som gjør hva som helst for at oppholdet blir bra. Frokosten bestilles kvelden før på et skjema og serveres på rommet til ønsket tidspunkt mellom 8 og 10. Det eneste å trekke ned for var gatestøyen. Men når man skal bo så sentralt, så blir det selvsagt litt støy.

The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were too “thick” for my husband and no option. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Elevator was very small. People were nice.

The customer service was great and also the location. I appreciated that the property is not in a very busy part of the city. There are many options for public transportation as well as a scenic walk to the center. There are also many great restaurants in the area that serve excellent food. The overall property definitely needs a lot of work. There was mold in the shower, the water didn’t drain so it made taking a shower unpleasant. The pictures didn’t match what we saw in person which was disappointing.

Well located in Prati neighborhood. Convenient and walkable to many points of interest in Rome. Diverse food options within several blocks. Clean and spacious room, friendly staff.

The room is big but outdated. The area rug at the foot of the bed old and dirty. The shower stall & some areas behind the sink is moldy. The faucet is too high up & water splashes. There is no room or any shelves to put your toiletries or make up, only a little space next to the sink but water splashes. They leave a complementary bottle of red wine in the room.

The room was little ruff around the edges. The bathroom although adequate, had an issue with a musky smell probably from a drainage issue!!!! it was quite overbearing at times. I would’ve rated it a lot lower but the staff were really friendly and helpful.

We had such a great stay here! We wanted to be close to the Vatican for the Jubilee Year and this was the perfect location; it only took us 15 minutes to walk to the Vatican!! The breakfast was amazing and it was super clean. This hotel is perfect walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. I have no complaints.

Loved this property. Just over the bridge to the main area which I liked. Away from the massive crowds but still walkable to everything. Really nice cafes around the building. Just a bit of a mouldy smell in my shower/toilet but no big issue.

A great spot to stay close to all the tourist attractions in walking distance. Marco and the team are very hospitable. Rooms are cleaned every day. My only criticism would be the bathroom with a small amount of mould but nothing serious just lacking exhaust fans but open the bathroom window then all good.Overall a pleasant place to stay in a great location.

They upgraded my room due to sewer smell in bathroom plumbing in the first room that I was in. They also gave a complimentary bottle of wine when I first checked in. I would definitely stay here again.

Small hotel without a lot of extras but it was super clean, nicely furnished and the staff was great! Lots to do nearby. Walk to lots of Rome from there or catch the metro a few blocks away.

Excellent property. Very comfortable and clean. We loved the area. The shower was amazing. Bed comfortable.

Größe und Lage sind top. Die Zimmertüren sind eher Baumarktqualität und sehr dünn. Ansonsten ideal zum erobern von Rom. Ne Flasche Wein gabs als Geschenk.

Good location. Very secured. wifi is good. Television are not smart tv and viewing options are limited to local channels.

Hotels location is great, very easy to get around by bus, metro or walking and nice area at night (feels safe) The owner very welcoming and helpful, all our requests where met. We liked the room size & the bed was comfortable. The room does feel tired and needs a freshen as there are marks on the walls, skirting is deteriorating & bathroom needs an overhaul, this didn’t spoil our stay but is worth noting.

Our one night stay here was good overall. The location was convenient, close to the subway and in a nice neighbourhood, and for the price it was alright. The bed was comfortable and the room was as expected. The windows and doors were very thin though, as you could hear almost everything happening in the hallway and on the busy street outside. The bathroom was not great. We kept tripping over the small step inside the bathroom, the sink faucet was at an awkward height so it was tough to wash your face or brush your teeth, and water splashed everywhere. The toilet had almost no leg room next to the shower, and the rain shower head was at an awkward angle. We also ran out of hot water after just one shower in the morning. Also, the renovations had many finishings that were clearly rushed & not finished properly, like fixtures falling out of the drywall, and tape that had never been removed on the ceiling. This worked out for us for a night, but we wouldn't want to be staying here for a prolonged period.

I think it’s abit of a stretch to call this place luxury. The room was basic with two very thin pillows. The hairdryer and shower were falling off of the wall. Location was good but there are building works opposite the hotel which makes it very noisy. They let us check in early but quite disappointed with the room compared to the pictures.

Clean guest house, friendly hosts, good location! The room could use better isolation at streat side. Noise from public transport and drunk men.

Room and location was superb. Spacious, clean, and close to public transport. Staff was also very accomodating and friendly. My only wish was they would add a door/drape for the shower so the water stops wetting the floor.

Great location in the Prati neighborhood. Amenities within a two-block radius include numerous restaurants, a grocery store, and a pharmacy. Easy access to river and major points of access into central Rome. Vatican and Castle St. Angelo within easy walking distance. Near bus route to FCO but arrangements for private transport to airport were readily made by staff at our request.

The Town House 62 is in an excellent central location. Bus stop close by and many restaurants and shops. The staff was exceptional and very friendly and took good care of us and our room!!

Check in was a disaster. And things went downhill from there Room looked abysmal First thing I saw when I entered was a broken chair. They only changed the linen once during our six day stay Towels were worn and thin

Days 2 - 4 it arrived increasingly earlier than ordered so that by Day 4 it was delivered 30 minutes before we had asked for it. The breakfast itself was good. Everything else was great: location was perfect with a bus stop right outside and a metro station just 6 or 7 minutes away. Housekeeping was attentive, and Marco was very helpful with straightforward check-in and check-out.

Great location, good trasport links with bus 70 to Termini right outside front door and metro nearby. Lots of good places to eat and professional area rather than Turist.

Room where really nice and the staff excellent. Breakfast served to room was so nice! Only thing we disliked was the too small bed wear :) Location we found exellent and for sure would like to revisit.

Excellent hotel, convenient location walking distance to most of Rome attractions! The daily breakfast was a great addition saving us time and money daily. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Friendly helpful staff. Great location with a bus stop to several buses at the front door of the hotel. We were also close to the SIT bus to get to the airport. Breakfast was made to order by James, the helpful assistant. About 10 minutes walking to the Vatican and 15-20 minutes walk from the historical quarter. It was nice to get back to our residential neighborhood after visiting crowded streets, with plenty of good restaurants nearby, and felt very safe. We also used electric scooters and bikes on the well manicured bicycle lanes. Excellent stay!

Excellent location for room. Rooms are quiet and spacious. Brekfast could do with a some fresh druit or fresh bread options.

Superb. Not a hotel, a room in an apartment which looked just like a hotel room. Incredible breakfast delivered to our room daily, more than many hotels would offer. Clean, great location, with many cafes and restaurants within 100 yards, Vatican 10 min walk. Awesome.
