I recommend this hotel 100%! This hotel was close to everything that I did not have to take taxis and I just walked the whole time. I got complementary wine for being a silver Expedia member which was so good! Super friendly staff.

Location is great, however all other things are poor. Especially, cleanliness is the biggest concern. Initially they gave us a room which was rather like a storage room with a bed added to it (ie. cupboards loaded with messy stuff; extremely dark; although all other rooms had numbers on the door this one had a sign resembling a staff area; there was a scaffolding with people actively working on it just outside of the only window which didn't have any curtains...), although the assigned room on the system was different. Later we moved to room that we are supposed to, which was in a slightly better condition, but still with unsatisfactory cleanliness. They do not reply any questions via Expedia chat, you only receive automated process messages. Once you arrive, there is a Whatsapp number which they respond but with hours of delay even during the day, and to underline that it is the so-called emergency contact. To draw an objective picture, we were offered free early check-in (ca.40mins) and baggage locker on the day of departure. However, in comparison to all the negative experiences we had these were negligible benefits.

They were awful. Their website says it is accessible. HA! Even with the elevator fixed it is not in any way accessible. You must go up 2 flights. I believe 1 to get to the elevator and 1 to get to the company door.. These people need to educate themselves on what that word means. Just another company in Rome who pretends to cater to the disabled. To top it off they lied about even having an elevator. Which was the only reason I booked the establishment.I have an injured knee (torn miniscus) and cannot go up and down the steps.We got there 530 or 6) when the reception was supposed to be there(730),no one was. I'm sure that is by design.that way they can't have a cancellation (24 hr notice) I told him nicely wouldn't be able stay. I made the reservation in good faith that they had thet elevator. i took them at their word that they had the elevator. I told him nicely that I have an injured knee and the elevator was the only reason I booked with them and that I wouldn't be able to stay. He said he couldn't afford to fix it. And that it was the building owners fault. I told him again I didn't ask HIM to fix it. How ridiculous? By now he's repeated that childish excuses at least 3 times.By now yes I'm angry and was yelling.Seriously? He keeps saying about fixing the damn thing. Then he said HIS family owned the hotel. I said then you can refund me. He said no I had to take it up with who I booked it through. (Of course. We've all heard that one) We know what happened next. Th
