I like that I was able to get a room at a decent price so last minute. I didnt like that they had little parking options and the rooms are with a regular key not an electronic key. I did not like the smell of smoke when people were smoking inside their rooms.

Small but well laid out room, nicely decorated, well appointed and very clean. Good heating & AC system. Lots of toiletries and towels provided. Mini - fridge was great to have. Beds _ pillows were very comfortable. Included breakfast was excellent - we were expecting a basic continental breakfast and were pleasantly surprised to find hot sausages, eggs and potatoes too. Breakfast staff were phenomenal - helpful and always on top of keeping everything fresh and well stocked. Front desk staff was also excellent - friendly, efficient and helpful. Free parking was really nice to have, and we walked from hotel to Biodome - an easy 2km walk. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights in Room 210 (second floor - stairs only, no elevator). Check-in was easy but the lady was a bit curt and did not speak English very well. I was surprised that a $100.00 deposit was charged to my credit card, which was then refunded at check-out. PROS: Ample parking in the lot within the hotel grounds. The room was neat and clean but not SPOTLESS. The hallways smelled of cigarettes (like a casino floor) although our room was non-smoking. The bed was firm and comfortable with clean linens (I inspect linens all the time). The washroom was quite spacious with a walk in shower (which we prefer - no bathtub). The shower was strong with good pressure and heat. The windows had good black-out blinds. The breakfast was very simple: hot (eggs, potatoes, bacon/sausage) and cold (cereal, granola bars, yogurt, very TINY croissants, bread slices that could be toasted, coffee and tea. CONS: The washroom is lacking with HOOKS (to hang towels, clothes), no SHELVES to place toiletries, a large sink with a very narrow counter space. Not even a hook behind the door - so much vertical wall space and nothing in the way of hooks or shelves. The A/C unit was very strong in the cooling but extremely LOUD - we couldn't sleep with the loud noise from the cycling of the cooling (temps in Montreal during our stay was between 28-32 Celsius). The closet was a BLACK-HOLE - it was not lit and therefore very difficult to see what you had stored. Sofa was plastic not fabric.

Parking included was great and very conveniently located to use the metro. Room was overall clean and well set up.

Très bien accueillis; nous avons rapidement eu notre belle chambre bien propre. Facile de nous rendre au quartier des spectacles en métro. Un lit confortable au retour et le petit déjeuner inclus au matin; tout était parfait pour notre escapade sans les enfants! merci !!!

La chambre était chère pour le niveau de propreté. Taches sur les draps, sur les miroir, déchets au sol. Forte odeur de cigarette dans le corridor. Le personnel était bien gentil et le déjeuner inclus très apprécié.

Dirty and small rooms

Terrible experience ! I have 9 bed bug bites and I have emailed management. No response or sense of urgency so far . I have pictures of hair also on the sheets .

Staff were friendly and the snow removal was fantastic. Very close to a metro. However, our non smoking room smelled heavily of smoke upon arrival and the smell did not dissipate. It almost seemed to worsen over the stay. The showers were open to the room (no door) which caused our entire room to become foggy and damp (floors, ceiling, windows, walls). Basic cleaning was done but dust and grime were still present including mystery stains on the tv and hairs on the pillows and in the sheets.

Found a bed bug this morning.

We stayed a night in late August and absolutely loved it! The room was beautiful, climate controlled & the bathroom was immaculate! Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.

Only negative notes about our non smoking deluxe room: -Found an old pack of cigarettes hidden behind the dvd player. -No towel holder for the sink, or toilet paper holder, or counter/shelf space. -No "do not disturb" sign. -Only one available wall plug accessible and even the staff couldnt tell me where it was (they came in the room), I had to move a bedside table to find it.

The shower room in our hotel unit has no door, which is extremely inconvenient. The toilet is in a separate room, and it’s the only place with a garbage can. This means every time we need to throw something away, we have to go into the toilet. Whoever designed this unit clearly didn’t consider practicality. Additionally, the hot water produces so much steam that it circulates throughout the unit, turning the entire room into a sauna—very uncomfortable. We chose not to take the free breakfast after our first morning because I saw a cockroach on a plate, sleeping too lol, which was absolutely disgusting. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and there were plenty of towels available. However, the issues mentioned above seriously affected our stay.

The room was nice and clean, staff was prompt and helpful, and parking was no problem. The hotel is a very easy walking distance to the train, making the rest of the city accessible. The place is nothing fancy, and the wifi service was hardly passable. Would recommend if you're planning to spend almost all of your time out and about and just need a clean+safe place to lay your head.

The Wi-fi was perfect and the breakfast as well. But i didn't like the key for the room. It was a bit difficult to open the room. Overall, it was a very good experience.

The room was fine. It was clean, which is my main priority. There were no hooks to hang towels anywhere. There was no door to the shower, it is wide open to bedroom and the toilet is in a separate room than the sink and shower, there was no privacy sign for door, Breakfast was good, Beds were cumfy, rainfall shower was nice. We were a 30 min walk from stade Olympic. Location and price were the main reason we booked it. Would I stay here again. No.

Room was odd. No plugs for recharging except by the door, floor was overlaid and made noise when stepping on it. Smell of tobacco in the hallways. Pillows were overlarge both of them.

L'accueil était très froid, la préposée semblait détester son travail. On nous à mis dans une chambre inférieur et quand je suis retourné à l'accueil ils ont essayé de me faire croire que que j'avais sélectionner la deluxe simple et non pas la deluxe supérieur (distinction qui n'existe pas sur leur site internet). Et lorsque je leur ai fait remarqué ils ont inventé une excuse comme quoi ils venait tout juste de les changer mais que ce n'était pas à jour sur leur site (3 jours plus tard ce n'est toujours pas '' à jour'') Ils ont fini par me donner la chambre que j'avais réservé, sans aucune excuses pour le dérangement. Les chambres ne sont pas très propres non plus. Elle sont tout de même plutôt bien rénové cependant. Si vous voullez une chambre pas chère, que la propreté vous est secondaire et que cela ne vous dérange pas de vous faire arnaquer, c'est l'hotel idéal!

The worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. Staff were unresponsive when I attempted to contact the property ahead of time to inform of a late check-in. I left an email and tried calling for 30 minutes straight. Only after leaving negative feedback on Expedia did they mysteriously respond a minute later. On my second night at around 1am I was awoken in a panic as staff unlocked my door and entered my room. Even giving the benefit of the doubt that it was an honest mistake it begs the question what are they doing so late? The walls are thin and the noises from the hallway can be heard clear as day. So after being rudely awoken with the worst invasion of privacy I've ever experienced at a hotel, it was hard to get back to sleep with the staff running up and down the hallways talking on their radios. This place is not cheap either, I spent over $200 a night for an experience I couldn't recommend even if it were free. The quality of the room was serviceable at best, and the hallways smelled of poorly masked cigarette smoke. I would steer far clear.

Front desk did not have our reservation when we arrived, and when he finally found it (took him like 20- 30 min) he was extremely rude. I was highly disappointed with the check in experience. The rooms are okay (meh). Be careful in the parking lot, on day of check out from this lovely hotel (I’m being sarcastic) someone hit my car damaging one of my tail lights. Did the hotel say anything or try to help, you guessed it! No lol. Stay at your own risk, I never leave reviews, not even bad ones. But I really had to highlight this, as it really affected my trip, and I would hate the same for any of you.

L'air climatisé ne marche qu'à moitié. Il fait terriblement chaud. La douche ne laisse qu'un petit filet d'eau et le reste éclabousse à l'extérieur. L'accueil était rudimentaire, sans vraiment transmettre les infoemations.

Staff was rude and unorganized. Attempted to call for an early check in and was told they didn’t have my reservation. When asked to check my reservation number they hung up. Called back multiple times and was hung up on after they said “hello”. My partner attempted to call and they answered, put hold and then got hung up on. On arrival the front office is only staffed with 1 person. They also had 2 children roughly between the ages 4-8 they were attempting to help. Check in took over 20mins due to lack of organization. Room door would not close without being slammed shut each time. Overall 1.5 *

Bien mieux que ce qu’on pensait avec la cote de cet hôtel. Le métro est à côté, bel accueil et on a eu une belle suite rénovée et propre avec le petit déjeuner inclus; c’était parfait pour nous et on y reviendra! Je recommande!

I would start by saying this hotel should not be part of Expedia, Book it or any other legitimate sites. We booked this hotel because we thought the room we selected would be a bit of fun with multiple mirrors and a large glass shower. When we checked in, it was hard to ignore the bullet proof glass separating the staff from the guest. The room was clean although there was a strong chemical smell. The hotel is located in a nice residential area of Montreal and is apparently a place where illegitimate business is conducted. We witness many prostitutes entering and exiting the hotel. I also came across later one evening with what i could only explain as a large man (pimp) cursing and yelling at the hotel staff through the bullet proof glass, saying they were cheating him and his 'girls'. The hotel also doesn't provide fob keys, only traditional keys and as such the outside doors are not locked. We also witnessed several police cars driving around which is very unusual for the area, being a quiet residential neighbourhood. Overall we felt very unsafe and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is a very illegitimate hotel trying to legitimise through reputable sites like Expedia.

Room was clean, check in was simple, the surrounding area wasn’t as nice but close to the metro is a huge plus. Solid place to stay.

There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang went towels and no waste baskets. No coffee machine. No iron board and no iron. Suspisious activities in the parking lot. Many homeless persons asking for money and cigarettes.

The only thing to improve is the breakfast location. There was not enough place to sit us all and we ended up taking our breakfast in our room.

The room was great the staff was wonderful and very accommodating! The breakfast was yummy!We enjoyed our stay and would consider Le Chablis again as well as recommending it to our friends! Thank you for making our stay enjoyable! 😃

Not enough room amenities. No coffee machine , no kettle in the room. Extremely limited dining room and breakfast options.

We stayed for Otakuthon weekend and had easy access to transportation at the metro just down the road, as well as a clean place and friendly staff that made us feel welcome. The appearance and vibe of the hotel was great, it was affordable for our trip and I'll definitely consider staying again. Also theres free breakfast which is pretty nice too. :)
