Beautiful hotel with really central location, situated just a couple of hundred meters from the Vatican. Our room was very nice and felt luxurious. Windows overlooked an alley, but the hotel has a rooftop bar for sunny days. It's a slightly pricy hotel so you're certainly paying a bunch for the location, but depending on what you are looking to do in Rome, it might certainly be worth it.

Hotel offers so much but gets let down by small things. Location is brilliant…. Staff are ok but lacking common sense. Roof top bar is ‘ok’ view is nothing special. Room was ok - opted for a suite but in reality it’s not really anything more than an extra corridor - certainly not a space that could be used Breakfast was really good Also, hotel was noisey with staff trolleys etc, different things in room were broken / Not working. Location makes up for a lot, the area is brilliant - but hotel (is a little bit of a let down)

This place is gorgeous! Super elegant on every front from the bar to the restaurant to the rooms. Every detail is thought through from the products in the rooms to the fluffy robes and various pillow selections. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. It really over delivered. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent Hotel. Every member of the staff was polite, helpful, quick, etc. Good location, good A/C, modern interiors. We didn't use the bar/restaurant/rooftop, but they look really good. The last night, they came in our room and replaced the towels and freshened up the room, knowing that we would be leaving early in the morning. Based on some other properties, I think this is an excellent value for a luxury hotel.

I am in Rome all the time. I usually stay at Bulgari or St Regis. This time I was traveling with the extended family and decided to be closer to the tourist attractions. I booked few rooms. Certainly this is not a five star hotel. I’d give it a solid four star boutique hotel. Clean, decent location. Unable to get to the hotel due to the construction across the street. I had to walk with a suitcases for a block. Rooms were very dark and cold like grotto, quite disturbing. Most disappointing was the food. I am yet to find a hotel in Italy with terrible service and the food. I found DOM. I wasn’t able to feed my 82 year old mother-in-law and my teenage son in the hotel. Restaurant had 10 people capacity and waiter managed to be missing all the time. There was absolutely no breakfast choices. I couldn’t believe s they had to offer was cereal and yogurt. Eggs came cold with the repugnant toast combined with the waiters attitude and the bill for $200. I am more than willing to spend double if I get the proper food, service. Very dissatisfied. Will never return and for the price tag and the quality I’d say you could do better as well. Average at best.

The service was absolutely great. It’s an amazing building that’s been both amazingly preserved and well upgraded. We got to checkout a few of the rooms and each one was different, there are a number of beautiful rooms with unique features, some more spacious than others (some are enormous, particularly by European standards) - we had a room with a great bathtub, which was really nice (great Acqua di Parma shower products/bath salts in the room). Service was amazing, they hung our clothes (sweats/pajamas) on the towel warmers every night so that they were warm for us when we got back to the room, which was thoughtful and amazing! For a smaller boutique hotel with limited staff, you would never know it. The restaurant is a little strange/quiet but the eggs & French Toast were great and room service was fast. The staff helped make any arrangements that we needed, including navigating covid restrictions/testing and always had extra individually wrapped masks available to take on your way in/out of the hotel. It’s a great location, easily walkable to most parts of the city, and they were also great about arranging cars - we rented a Vespa a few blocks away and there was plenty of parking right outside the hotel. There is a nice rooftop that has food service during warmer months but is open to sit with a drink (probably for smokers as well, although I didn’t see anyone smoking while we were there). No complaints at all (which says a lot). Can't recommend it enough!!

The staff was attentive and kind. The restaurant staff and the food were excellent. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. I would have given this hotel a 5 star rating, but the rooftop terrace was closed and it looked dirty and run down. I booked this hotel based upon seeing pics of the rooftop terrace.

Lovely restored building, but the rooms are tiny and badly designed. The shower was tiny and irregularly shaped. Parts were repairs, but not painted. There's not enough storage, no place to put a laptop, not enough electrical outlets to charge phones and keep the lights on. The room had mold from a prior leak, the closet doors creaked, there were not enough hangers, much too small for the price. No movies on the TV, only news or foreign chanels. Very, very noisy from the cop station right across the street. At all hours they are shouting and their cars are coming and going. Never again!

Fantastic hotel in the center of the ancient Rome! The staff are very friendly, the hotel is nice and clean. Also a very quiet area. The breakfast is absolutely the best with the service and their home made bread and marmalades. We will definitely come back!

This is not a 5 star by any stretch. Nothing fancy luxurious or opulent about the property. Dark dimly lit spaces and rooms. Awful bedding. Didn’t get any sleep at all. Next to a weird govt office building with guards chatting all day long. No coffee machine in the room. The doors are flimsy. Can be opened by a kid by just banging on it. No usb port for charging phone. No air conditioning in April. Indifferent staff. Tiny cramped bathrooms. Dirty bedding. Old raggedy wool throw on the bed that looks like it’s been used for years. No automatic switch for turning lights off from the bed. You have to walk to each lamp and unplug for the night.

Nice hotel in a quiet and quaint Rome neighbourhood. If you can, book the junior suite or up as the rooms are bigger. The hotel in general could use some TLC (update on paint etc.) but the staff are great and very helpful. The breakfast is the only part that was a bit weird and could be done different and better.

Hotel was beautiful. We stayed in the Dom Suite on the top floor, highly recommend! Two floors with walk in closet. The balcony was spacious, seating for about 10 people, with the bell tower was phenomenal. The bell only rings at about 6pm, so it doesn't wake you up. The building across the street has armed guards outside at all times (driver said it was like Italian FBI) so the area is very safe. Also very quiet. Great walking distance (15-30 min walk) to attractions while being far enough away from tourists. Our only issue was the wifi signal was very weak, and did not reach the balcony at all. Maybe because it is stationed on the 1st floor? The bed was super comfortable and the employees were so helpful! They made reservations for dinner for us, organized a driver, called taxis. We loved this place and loved calling it home while we were in Rome! Very highly recommend!

I am in Rome all the time. I usually stay at Bulgari or St Regis. This time I was traveling with the extended family and decided to be closer to the tourist attractions. I booked few rooms. Certainly this is not a five star hotel. I’d give it a solid four star boutique hotel. Clean, decent location. Unable to get to the hotel due to the construction across the street. Eggs came cold with the repugnant toast combined with the waiters attitude and the bill for $200. I am more than willing to spend double if I get the proper food, service. Very dissatisfied. Will never return and for the price tag and the quality I’d say you could do better as well. Average at best.

This is not a 5 star by any stretch. Nothing fancy luxurious or opulent about the property. Dark dimly lit spaces and rooms. Awful bedding. Didn’t get any sleep at all. Next to a weird govt office building with guards chatting all day long. No coffee machine in the room. The doors are flimsy. Can be opened by a kid by just banging on it. No usb port for charging phone. No air conditioning in April. Indifferent staff. Tiny cramped bathrooms. Dirty bedding. Old raggedy wool throw on the bed that looks like it’s been used for years. No automatic switch for turning lights off from the bed. You have to walk to each lamp and unplug for the night.

We had room 424 with our own private terrace. A wonderful way to escape the bustle of Rome. The room, the dressing room (mind your head!) and the bathroom were all exquisite. The staff were great and helpful. I would recommed the DOM to anyone.
