The staff and service at the hotel are exemplary. They were great at sending communications ahead of my stay - and friendly and welcoming on arrival. The hotel is a short walk from the airport tram stop and has great access to trains, old town, the shopping district and restaurants/bars. They provide a door code for extra security in the building- so be sure to confirm it before arrival. The rooms are clean and quiet and I’d recommend selecting one with a balcony. The breakfast had a lot of variety and fresh breads. I will return on my next stay in Nice!

Very helpful staff. Excellently equipped room in the perfect location to enjoy old Nice. Everything you’d want is a few steps away. Julien has maps, public transportation info, helpful advice and excellent command of English. As long as you’re OK with a flight of stairs, this is a great place to explore Nice from.

This is not a conventional hotel; Reception is often unattended and guests are trusted to look after themselves. Maids will not enter your room when you are out to tidy, clean and make the beds, though a member of staff did offer us clean towels when we needed them. For those on a budget, there are facilities for preparing and eating food in the rooms. Everything is clean and well appointed. The staff - mostly young women, as far as I could make out - are exceptionally charming and helpful. I was contacted by a staff member a day or two before our arrival, to give us instructions on how to find the hotel and access the hotel using a pass-code. She also provided prompt information when I asked for it. Our room overlooked a main road but we were not disturbed by traffic noise because double-glazing reduced external sound by at least 95%. The rooms are air-conditioned, of course. AMMI is nicely situated on the edge of the old city, just seconds from the lanes and passage-ways which make this part of town so attractive, with their bars, cafes and restaurants. I'd guess that it's a 15 minute stroll to the beach. Recommended!

Stayed at Ammi Vieux for 8 nights in room 5, executive room.26sq mtrs, high ceilings, three large French doors with Juliette balconies. Double glazed windows so although room overlooks street it was quiet. Room very well equipped,wonderful mattress and good linens. Kitchenette had everything and we made breakfast each day. This is an aparthotel with only ten rooms. Two face the street (room 5 and 6) others face internal courtyard. A big shout out to Pauline/Julien as there communication prior to arrival and while was great. They use WhatsApp which enabled advice/directions to sights and restaurants. On that note try La Bocca Nissa, book a table on roof terrace. Great food and good vibe

This is a Apartment Hotel which was not clear at the time I booked it. Staff and help availability were not convenient, check in and check out times limited. Must use code to get into building, if late at night, could become issue. outside hotel and our room was very noisy. I liked the location being close to old town.

The balcony was a peaceful environment since it was facing an inside courtyard opposite the busy street on the other side of the hotel. The staff was helpful and nice. The storage lockers for keeping your things safe before getting in the room was good and greatly appreciated. The only down side really is the mattress was quite hard..

Getting there from Nice Airport by train is very affordable and convenient; the train station is just a 2-minute walk away. Although the rooms are small, the space is used very efficiently and everything you need is provided. The hygiene is excellent. All your questions and requests are taken care of even before you arrive. Monsieur Sebastian, in particular, is very friendly and hospitable. Rooms with balconies offer a completely different kind of pleasure. If I travel to Nice again, I wouldn’t look for another hotel.

Julien was a tremendous help and the staff were very friendly. The room was very clean, comfortable and had all we needed with unexpected extras. When we return to Nice we will definitely try and stay here again.

The property is in a great location. The floor was dusty for some reason when we first check in. But the staff was wonderful, Jeanne was really nice manning the front desk for the 3 days we were there.

Ein sehr schönes kleines Hotel. Sehr sauber, sehr zentral und die Inhaberin ist unheimlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße hin und der Lärm war trotzdem nicht zu hören. Absolut empfehlenswert, alleine schon wegen der tollen Lage. Alles fußläufig innerhalb weniger Minuten.

Great for extended stays. Rooms are small (including shower, bathroom, and sink, but if you're going to be out and about (which if you're in Nice, you should be) then its not that big of a deal. Ample cabinet space to keep our clothes for a week. Staff was very helpful, kind, and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Especially if you want a room with a kitchenette. Just spend a little bit more for the larger room though if you can.

This is not a conventional hotel; Reception is often unattended and guests are trusted to look after themselves. Maids will not enter your room when you are out to tidy, clean and make the beds, though a member of staff did offer us clean towels when we needed them. For those on a budget, there are facilities for preparing and eating food in the rooms. Everything is clean and well appointed. The staff - mostly young women, as far as I could make out - are exceptionally charming and helpful. I was contacted by a staff member a day or two before our arrival, to give us instructions on how to find the hotel and access the hotel using a pass-code. She also provided prompt information when I asked for it. Our room overlooked a main road but we were not disturbed by traffic noise because double-glazing reduced external sound by at least 95%. The rooms are air-conditioned, of course. AMMI is nicely situated on the edge of the old city, just seconds from the lanes and passage-ways which make this part of town so attractive, with their bars, cafes and restaurants. I'd guess that it's a 15 minute stroll to the beach. Recommended!

Julien was very helpful. We had some difficulty gaining entry because it is also an apartment. But overall good experience. Close to Old Town which was very nice. Julien gave us a better room & the bathroom was nice. Also had AC which was important.

This is a Apartment Hotel which was not clear at the time I booked it. Staff and help availability were not convenient, check in and check out times limited. It was difficult to get into the hotel. I arrived in the evening and no one was at the desk. I needed to check messages on Expedia for the instructions on how to get in the front door and get my room key. Entrance is small and requires going up a flight of stairs. Once I made contact with staff via text and WhatsApp, they were very helpful. My room was well furnished and clean. TV needed to be repaired which was completed by my second night. The location of this hotel is convenient, right on edge of Old Town and adjacent the tram.

This has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in as bed was so comfortable & shower fantastic. You cannot beat the location. Situated in the Old Town of Nice & 5 mins to the beautiful Promenade Des Anglais. If we are lucky enough to come to Nice again this is where I would stay. Lovely helpful staff also.
