Inn at Harbor Hill Marina

We really enjoyed the stay at Inn at harbor hill marina. We are at room #7. Nice view from the balcony. Quiet, and beautiful inn, breakfast is great and walking distance to the town center, broadwalk, and beach(they even have guess pass for us). There is bikes you can rent. Live music on Saturday. We didn’t get the complimentary boat ride but it starts in middle of June. Overall we had relaxing and happy anniversary trip. Highly recommend to my friends who visit Niantic.

Upon arrival, I took advantage of the short afternoon pontoon boat ride on the Niantic River. Being able to enjoy coffee and breakfast on the covered back deck with marina views was very enjoyable.

Fabulous little guest house, wonderful welcome from the staff. Beautiful room, super comfy beds. The little touches like cheese and wine in the afternoon and hot cookies in the evening as well as a complimentary soft drink fridge really make this place special.

Very pleasant stay. A beautiful view, lovely landscaping, peaceful and comfortable. We especially loved the pontoon boat ride. I will return.

We truly enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Inn at Harbor Hill! The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The buildings and grounds are immaculate. We were in the Captain Clark House which had central AC, an extremely comfortable king bed, and our own private deck overlooking the marina. Spectacular sunrise every day! A great home-cooked breakfast was included as well as some local solo performers on the gazebo, including some light snacks and wine. Another included pleasure was the pontoon ride. A pleasant surprise. The town of Niantic has nice shops and plenty of great restaurants. The location is centrally located to Mystic. New London, and not far from Rhode Island. Harkness Park should be included on your itinerary. We will be back again for sure!

Inn at Harbor Hill Marina was charming and made for a delightful long weekend getaway. The included breakfast every morning was delicious and service was great. We enjoyed the afternoon happy hour with music, the warm cookies before bed, and used the available bikes to explore the surrounding area. The only downsides: the website listing doesn't state this, but they do not clean the room during the stay unless you make a special request for a specific job. If I had known that ahead of time we likely would have booked elsewhere. Part of the appeal of a nice hotel stay is not having to make the bed or worry about wet towels, full trash cans, or changing the toilet paper! Additionally, they have an absurd 9 day cancellation policy. I called and attempted to cancel 7 days before our trip and was told I was out of luck, we'd still owe the entire amount for the trip, and no, the management would not be willing to take my call about it. I get it, you have a policy, but 9 days or else 0 refund is extreme. It feels stressful rather than relaxing, which is how a good vacation should feel. Despite those issues, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed our visit.

It was nice to have a quiet room overlooking the marina. The breakfast was included in the rate, excellent and served outside. The inn provided complimentary wine and cheese and fresh-baked cookies and unlimited access to ice and coffee. It is a lovely getaway located close to a mile-long boardwalk along the Sound. Highly recommend.

Great facility and staff. The added extras including afternoon cheese/wine, beach passes/towels, and harbor ride are icing on the cake.

The complimentary breakfast, wine and cheese and cookies in the evening were an added bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful. The afternoon boat rides were wonderful. Property is conveniently located to downtown Niantic- easy walking as we didn’t have a car and found that we didn’t need one.

When I inquired, the person said that unfortunately the fireplace was not in working order. If this was known why weren't we told and offered a room with a working fireplace before we unloaded and settled in since we were the only people there for the first night.

The property is beautiful and clean. We were greeted literally as we were walking through the door. Our room smelled fresh and the views were stunning. Our breakfast along with the cheese and wine hour were great! We can't wait to return. We love this place. ❤️

Loved the easy location to great towns, dining, beach, state parks, fishing, antiques, etc! Property offers a nice simple hot breakfast each day and a little “happy hour” snack at 4:00. Heavy dark furniture in our room was worn but still comfy. A little better dusting please… We would return during off season.

Beautiful property, good breakfast, small rooms, no need for midweek live music which one can’t escape in their rooms as it is right downstairs, needed soap refill and new bath rug. It’s a cozy and cute BnB overall.

Our stay for just one evening was excellent. The bed was so comfortable. Had no aches in the morning. Forgot to ask the type/name if you can let me know. Very clean which is so important and smelled nice. Food and service excellent as well. Will stay again when in area. Thanks for everything. Lisa and Tom.

Room was wonderful. Property was nice. Breakfast outside was outstanding.

I actually rented this room for location. And the room amenities that included a gas room fireplace. Apparently the fireplaces in the building are having a functional issue that makes it inoperative. None of that was shared until we were shown the room. An offer of a spot was the gesture for the inconvenience.

Regular rooms are so small, ok for couples, no closet in the room, no my first option next time, nice people.

Our stay was amazing - the perfect weekend getaway. It was so relaxing and the area was beauty. The room was perfect. We stayed in room 14 (Barque Eagle). The large soaker tub was amazing. The fireplace was a nice touch, too. And the view was beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. We will definitely be returning.

From the moment we checked in, we had an amazing experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The Inn has welcoming decor. Our room was clean and cozy. The tub was perfect for a cold night. The gas fireplace was perfect as well. We will definitely stay again!

We stay this and all night kept hearing someone walking back and forth. I would go back and stay on the second floor. Place is beautiful.

The property is excellent, although I think the bed is too high. The shower is fabulous, the climate control system is great. Breakfast was excellent. My wife and I did not like the town, or the surrounding towns, but we did find really nice restaurants for dinners.

Lovely place … very strict reservations rules. Even when serious illness caused unexpected cancellation.

Loved my solo weekend at Inn at Harbor Hill. No detail was left unattended to. Beautiful property and amazing staff. I felt like family. It was my first of many trips to Niantic (because of my experience with your hotel) so thank you for making it so special. I had business in area & decided to stay a night for convenience. I booked the smallest room in main house for $300, it said Long Island sound views. I saw only rooftops, parking lot or tall hedges. The mattress also was in need of replacement since it had a sag in the middle. The wine/cheese was very welcoming since I hadn’t had a chance to have dinner & was going out for a seminar that evening. I was disappointed upon my return that there were no evening cookies available for me. The morning breakfast is taken by order and there wasn’t enough room to sit inside on a cool, rainy morning. I consequently sat on the porch with a blanket on my lap. I am a tea drinker and was very disappointed to only find Lipton teabags with lukewarm water for preparation.( I would’ve loved a pot of tea) I had to keep asking the waitstaff to put my teamug in microwave to warm it up. I don’t think this is a usual standard of Designation of a prestigious inn! By the time I received my “hot” breakfast on the porch, it was cold. The French toast was delicious anyway. Perhaps I might suggest that there be a few items available to help yourself while waiting for a warm breakfast such as fresh fruit/yogurt. The staff was extremely friendly. I also was at the dock 5:20 waiting for the tour boat following Lobby instructions. Boat did not arrive until 545. I had no opportunity to take the tour since he said he was done for the day(Found out later it was his 1st day on the job) so disappointing😔

I can’t say enough good things about the Inn. Not only is the property beautiful, but each and every staff person we encountered was extraordinarily helpful and kind! And they seemed happy to be at work — which is a credit to ownership for creating a good work environment!! And every detail — from the rooms to the breakfasts to the cheese and wine hour to the cookies to the yoga mats — is guest focused. Truly, it’s many notches above a bed and breakfast! I will gladly share with review sites, travelers, friends and family this magical place.

We love the Inn at Harbor Hill. This is a beautiful little Inn, tucked away near a Marina in Niantic, Ct. This is is our 3rd or 4th time here and we’ve loved it every time. The breakfast (which is included), is always delicious and plentiful). They also serve wine , cheese, and crackers in the afternoons, and cookies in the evenings. Our room also has a great view of the marina. Lastly, this place is very clean, and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Five stars plus!

Nice quiet place to spend a holiday, the board walk is just around the corner and there are plenty of restaurants to dine in.

Great find! We rode our bikes here from New London Amtrak station (10 coastal miles) and were able to walk/bike around Niantic as the inn is very centrally located. Very clean and quiet. Well appointed. And the VIEWS!! Wow. Room 2 for the win! We will be back.

We had a great stay at this property. After being greeted with a most beautiful smile by the manager, we were offered a great wine and cheese "happy hour" in the cosy downstairs foyer. Room was ample and spotless. Breakfast was very good, albeit a bit cramped (a few guests did not have a table to sit on). Oh, and the location and the view of the harbor are fantastic
